Love the wraps here, specifically the lamb and beef. They are nicely salted, the wrap itself it really good - chewy and flavorful, and they put in a good salad mix. Their hot sauces and yogurt sauces are all really good too! I'm not as big a fan of the sliced chicken, I think it's pretty bland. This is on our regular delivery dinner rotation. Solid! read more

THIS TKS is amazing. I come here for lunch multiple times a week. Their food is always amazing, the chicken is juicy, their rice is fresh, everything else always tastes really good. The service is ok, the staff is usually busy making food, and that makes sense because it gets busy, so you can just place your own order and pick it up when ready. One thing I wish they changed and it's an issue with other restaurants, is the chairs, when someone moves them it's the loudest thing ever, makes it impossible to enjoy food inside. Avoid this location. Where to start. The food came out cold and sloppily thrown together. The prep line was a mess: proteins and veggies so disorganized there was clear cross-contamination happening: i had random salad and pieces of meat i didn't order in my wrap. The service made it worse. Staff were visibly impatient and unfriendly. When we asked for a to-go box, we were met with annoyance and we were the only customers in the store. I found this restaurant VERY good and had a great first-time visit. My lady wanted to show me this restaurant a couple weeks ago but I believe they were closed for Easter. We had the chance to come back for lunch and I was super excited. What caught my attention was the wrap with french fries inside and that's what I ordered. For her bowl, I found that the rice was a little bit undercooked/firm. It wasn't as fluffy as I was expecting. I believe for the price you pay, you get a generous portion of food that can honestly be split into 2 meals. Everything my lady and I got was very flavorful and delicious. Just go there instead, unless you have unlimited time then come here. You start off by ordering on a kiosk, no one greets you as you walk in. It seems like there is a sufficient number of staff and they appear to be hustling around. The issue is that they are prioritizing food delivery service orders because those go out much faster than anyone who comes in and orders. Anyways, this system is not efficient and needs work. By far the BEST location I've had the pleasure of visiting! Located in Rivermark Plaza, this particular The Kebab Shop is a drive from home but 100% worth the time and extra effort!! I came by to pick up a quick order of crave fries. Ordering via mobile order was quick and easy. The most difficult part was simply finding an empty parking spot. Upon arrival, there only seemed to be one employee on hand- situated in front of the flat grill top. He peeked out to see me and took that extra moment to greet me. I let him know I was here for a mobile order and he let me know the item was made and ready to go. 5/5 stars for this Kebab Shop! Tried the kebab shop the other day for lunch and really enjoyed it. I got a bowl with the saffron rice, gyro, cucumbers, pickled onions and dill yogurt sauce. It was really good. The gyro was a little on the drier side, but still tasty. The sauce was delicious. The service was good and quick even though it was packed. The ambiance was nice and clean. Huge sized wraps! The wrap was delicious and filling. It goes perfect with their sauces (I like OG yogurt the most). Their cilantro jalapeno sauce is also pretty flavorful and tasty. The steak was mostly tender, though some bites were too tough to chew. The hummus was nice and creamy, I could get a side of that next time! Overall flavor was fresh and flavorful, crunchy cabbage. Sometimes I get their fries (in the wrap as well), though they get pretty hard once it's cooled down. The baklava was disappointing, the layers were soft and not flaky at all. The only issues I have keeping it from getting 5 stars is the service and minor quality control. There was an employee standing there the whole time behind the counter while multiple people were struggling to use the self-ordering on the tablet and figuring out what they wanted. The line started to get long (like 6 people in line) and the guy literally just stood there watching everyone until my husband asked for help and he came to the register to take orders as well. Food wise, the pita was a tad over charred, two fairly small and flimsy triangle pieces that looked like it fell between the grill grates and was picked up and wrapped in foil. This is more of a thank you note than a review. I just picked up food for my son at the Kebab Shop in Rivermark. It would have been an ordinary thing to do except he ordered it from the shop Irvine! I am thankful that the employees and manager here in Rivermark are kind, understanding people. They understood mistakes happen and helped me out by filling my order at their location and even offering me water while I waited on a hot day. They were busy, but still had time to be kind and have a couple short exchanges of conversation with me. It's nice to know that customer service, kindness and thoughtfulness still exist in the bay. Still one of our favorite places! And I feel like they're constantly improving. They've added this limited time deal of 2 bowls with 2 sides or 2 wraps with 2 sides or mix and match. They've also added shrimp kebab to their menu!!! This has made me even love them even more. Service is still top tier(on one occasion, we were eating in and one of the employees came up to us to check we got both pitas for our side orders. It did take about 10-12 mins to make which was a bit long, but I understand that fresh and good food take time. Their menu is pretty extensive with lots to choose from. People have the ability to customize their wraps which is a plus. They have a sauce station which is nice because I got to take a few extra OG Yogurt sauces! Today, I'm in Silicon Valley. I felt like doing some more Mediterranean cuisine again, and going for Halal. I'm at the one and only The Kebab Shop in Santa Clara this Monday Afternoon, where it's all about the Kebab. I'm having me a bowl, of what they call a Truffle Maker, and it consist of only the healthiest ingredients, Truffle Brown Rice, Grilled Veggies, Fire Hummus, Pita Crumbles, Jalapeños, and Grilled Beef Kofta. This is a one of a kind creation, I don't see it everywhere else at similar Shop's. The Kofta was Grilled just right, juicy, and not greasy. The Hummus is creamy, and more of a consistency I'm used to. The Red Cabbage Slaw was sliced kinda more rustic, it kept its texture, it was bright, and added a lot of contrast. I really like how the Grilled Veggies has Squash in it. And the Tzatziki Sauce, isn't overpowering, and ties the whole Dish together. It's balanced, packed with flavor, and does got a touch of Umami. They get some points, for originality. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.9-4.3 stars, I want to give this a 4.2/4.3 stars, but I give this 4.3 stars out of 5 stars. When I finally asked if they were open, the employee responded that the front counter wasn't important right now because they were focused on catering orders and that I could wait a minute. It's really upsetting to see such poor customer service here.
