I usually come here about once a month after getting a haircut and typically order the chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink. The price has always been reasonable, it's convenient, and the food has generally been pretty good, which is why I've kept coming back. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was very disappointing. I initially ordered a fried chicken sandwich combo and was charged full price. After paying, I was told they were out of fried chicken sandwiches. I said that was fine and asked to switch to a grilled chicken sandwich instead. The employee changed the order and walked away. I then asked about the drink that normally comes with the combo, and he told me they were out of drinks as well--yet I was still charged full combo price. When my food finally came out, I noticed there were no fries. When I asked about them, I was told the fryer was broken. Again, this was after I had already paid full price for a combo. So in the end, I paid for a full combo but only received a sandwich. There was no communication beforehand about items being unavailable, and no adjustment to the price despite multiple parts of the combo being unavailable. I understand that things break and restaurants run out of items, but customers should be informed before being charged and the price should reflect what is actually being served. This experience left me pretty disappointed compared to my previous visits. read more

Me and my family ended up choosing this place due to its close proximity. The guy who took our order was humbled and nice. The pizza itself has a nice and flavorful pizza sauce which is sweet, the crust also has a nice crunch to it. The veggies were also delightful. read more

This is my favorite place for pizza and wings!! They have good meal deals and the workers are super friendly. The interior is modern and clean. The wings are so crispy and the pizza has great toppings and is always cooked perfectly. I've been meaning to try the other food items which also look really good! The restaurant was empty at the time, so the delay did not appear to be due to other patrons. We were very disappointed with the experience. I wish I could say the food was worth the wait. My co-worker and I were looking at a new spot to grab a burger close to work and we discovered Krusti's. I always like to try something new, so I went with the Spicy Chapli Burger. A Chapli is a Pakistani minced beef patty. It was very flavorful. It does not have much heat, but gives the burger a little kick. I ordered the combo with a drink and fries. You pick out a drink from the little mini fridge in the corner. They have Shasta cola. That brought back at lot of memories because we had Shasta cola in our house growing up. The fries were pretty average and not memorable. Small dining area inside. It did take a long time for our food to come out, so we had to eat quick to be back in the office. So far, this is my favorite Hala pizza spot in SJ. It's a perfect Sunday dinner choice. Called In a Veggie Supreme pizza with added beef pepperoni.... Because you know balance, duh. It was perfection. Fancy pants ordered pepperoni and cheese. We were both happy with the service. The pizzeria is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. I saw so many great reviews for this place, and I was especially excited to try the Chicken Tikka Pizza! I love Chicken Tikka Masala and this sounded delicious. So I decided tonight sounded like a good night for some different and unusual pizza. My little family went and we ordered an XL half combo half chicken Tikka, plus an order of crispy buffalo wings. Everything came out sizzling hot! I loved that. The wings were so nice in that you got the entire wing - drumette plus flat in one piece, with sauce on side, which kept the wing crispy. We are fairly new to this area of San Jose. We had a family gathering and ordered takeout from Krusti's yesterday. I ordered off their website pretty easily. Door Dash was the service they used for delivery. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. So far, so good. I ordered 3 pizzas: double pepperoni, butter chicken, and a DIY pizza with sausage, pepperoni, and black olive with white garlic sauce. All 3 pizzas were good, but not great. I wanted something to stand out, but unfortunately these were all basic pizza, even the desi pizza...basic crust, basic flavors, with nothing standing out. Pretty limited with the toppings. I was really surprised based upon the very high Yelp score. Unfortunately, the 4.7 score clearly can't be based upon the pizza quality. It must be for their burgers, pasta, or something else. This place was recommended to me based off of their prices, quality, and service and everything lived up to my expectations! I really like their chicken burger, it all comes with fries and a drink and it's such a great deal.
