Decided to check out this cozy breakfast spot in Enumclaw based on a friend's recommendation and I'm so so happy we did! From start to finish our meal and experience was the absolute best. Seating is self serve and since we were early we were lucky to beat the Sunday morning breakfast rush. Our waitress was sweet, friendly, attentive, and gave lots of great menu suggestions. She was the best! The food came out fast and portions were just out of this world. You'll have plenty of leftovers for the rest of the week based on how massive their food options are! My favorite item we tried was hands down the Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Kettle Muffin. It's was a heavenly fall treat and the perfect accompaniment to a hot cup of coffee on this brisk Sunday morning. Can't wait to go back and try more breakfast items soon! Oh and lunch ones too!

Such a great find for breakfast. This place is so cute and has a home feel to it. The food portions are large enough to share. Our waitress was wonderful and her suggestion of the cinnamon kettle muffin didn't disappoint, homemadeand delicious. The place isn't large so get there early. The wait time didn't seem to be to long. The food was delicious and if you pay with cash your bill is discounted 4%. I will absolutely come back when in the area.

Service was great, food was pretty standard. Would prefer crispier French toast as it was a bit soggy. Scrambled eggs could use some more fluffiness and tasted bland, but I added salt and pepper and it was okay. Enjoyed the muffin and fresh coffee. Great spot for locals and lots of seating.

Service is exceptional. We got Jax and she's a keeper. So kind and friendly. Something you don't see all the time. Enjoyed driving an hour for food & good service. Food was great too. I don't think I would chose that flavor of muffin again but it was ok. I'll have to try the other flavors next time.

Waiting to be seated is awkward because there are tables in that particular waiting area. You're basically standing next to a table where someone is eating. They are so busy and moving about that several plating mistakes were made around us. Service is a 'familiar friend' kind of service. Once we were seated we were checked on frequently and the coffee kept coming. The Meat Lovers Scramble is more like a ten pound plate of comfort food. I was shocked at how much food it was. I will probably get two more meals out of the leftovers. The flavor profile needs nothing added. The egg, cheese, potatoes and various meats add all the seasonings it needs, just dig in. The walls are covered with paintings and photos as well as a variety of wall hangings. This is very much a country breakfast restaurant at this time of day. The lunch menu also looks enticing.

Wow. I mean just wow. Bring your appetite when you come here!! There were 4 of us and we ordered two full meals and we all left stuffed and couldn't even eat all of it. We had.... Buckley scramble. Scrambled eggs, onions, bacon and hash browns all mixed together. It was delish. We had two sunny side eggs from our other meal that we added to the top of the scramble and it's how I'd actually order it again in the future. Try it this way. You're welcome. Strawberry French toast. This was delish....I can't have a lot of sugar but was a fantastic bite. I'd order this again. Bieber id order everything on the side because it was a little too sweet. I'd prefer to control it all but that's just me probably because I can't do sugar everything is to sweet to me. Lastly their homemade muffins. Blueberry was our favorite, then cinnamon sugar and lastly still good cherry chocolate chip. We'll be back 10/10

Okay, this restaurant is in Enumclaw. I'll just leave that statement for you to Marinate over. Food: good. What I mostly appreciate is that they served their syrup hot. This was really important to me. And the pancakes were amazing too! Some of the best, I've ever had. The scramble was good....I didn't like the cold shedded cheese on the dish. I wish it was melted. Great breakfast place in town. The portions are huge! Definitely consider sharing. The staff was super friendly and make you feel like you are dining in their home. If you leave this place hungry then its your own fault. The potions are more then generous and absolutely delicious. If you order one of their scrambles make sure you are hungry because even the half orders are huge. The service is always so up beat and friendly. They take great care of their customers. My 5 and 6 year also recommend this place and they are the pickiest eaters. My only complaint is I wish they were open for dinner. read more

This is our favorite breakfast place, especially when we have guests in from out of town. It's a small-town, friendly staff, feels-like-home type of place. A friend recommended The Kettle. So I drove from Federal Way to Enumclaw to try it. It was was worth e drive. They were busy but servive was friendly and fast. Price really good, for the amount of food you get. Bathroom was really clean. I ordered the Monte Cristo, I haven't seen one on a menu in years. It was wonderfull. My brother ordered ham &cheese omlet with hash browns. I ate 1/4 of my sandwich and he managed to finish his omlet but had a plateful of potatoes left. We took enough food home to last the rest of the day and into the morning. It is a terrific place. They are only open till 2pm for breakfast and lunch and so worth the drive. read more

Me and momma bear were driving up to Sunrise to hike the trail but hadn't eaten. We drove into enumclaw and couldn't find any restaurants but we did see Starbucks.. So we stopped in the parking lot and I told her let me look up any good restaurants on Yelp. First thing that popped up was this restaurant and boy was I glad we found this awesome place! I got the #41 full order scramble and it was a mistake.. What I should have goten was the half order lol. The food was very tasty and had a real homey feel to it inside. Service was good and the food came out pretty quick! Next time we drive through we will for sure be going back! read more

This place is amazing. I have been talking about and craving muffins for two days, and just happened to walk in here where they serve fresh hot muffins with your meal! Also, it was SO fast. We sat down, ordered, I went to the bathroom, and I came back and my food was already at the table. I had a GIGANTIC veggie scramble (we should have split it). It was delicious.This place was a total rescue when I was getting cranky and hangry on the way out to a hike. Thank you! read more

The kettle is an establishment that continues to amaze me every time I'm here. I absolutely love not only the food, but the environment and service. I highly recommend trying at least once. Once I did I kept coming back for the very reasonable prices and the huge portions on the scrambles. Love it here! read more

Born and raised in the area and the Kettle has always been the best place around for a good hearty breakfast. The waitresses all call you honey and sweety and run around with coffee and tea and muffins. Great food, great atmosphere. Only complaint is if you want to get in on a Saturday morning it can be impossible sometimes. read more

Very good food. We stumbled across this place by accident after another place was closed. We ordered 3 meals and and in reality we should have had ordered one. This is by far the best breakfast in the area. My boyfriend has been telling me about it for months and we finally had a day to go to it! We drove 40 mins out of our way while totally starving just to get their giant scrambles and delicious cinnamon muffins. Super fast, super delicious and super friendly. Worth it!!! read more

A great hometown cafe. Very fast and friendly service. Got the scrambler and couldn't finish it which is rare for me. The muffins are served warm and are awesome, nice shell with a soft center. We also got pancakes and French toast and both were great with awesome flavor and warm syrup. Coffee was very hot and your cup stayed filled. After ten minutes I was worried. After 20 minutes I was getting concerned. Our waitress showed up shortly there after and we placed our order. Paula came around a few times refilling coffees, clearing tables and bringing checks. I wandered into their bakery area while waiting for our food, took photos, read the info there and then out to the historic bar area to check it out. You can order cakes and cheese cakes from their bakery as well as take a slice to-go, or enjoy a slice in house. Our waitress saw me there on her way into the kitchen and asked if I needed something. "No, just looking". OK then. We think our waitress was working both the kitchen and the dining room which is why she was often out of sight. So two staff in FOH with one of them helping BOH. That's a lot. She brought our food when ready plus a selectiin of jams for our english muffin. We asked for silverware which she promotly brought. The marionberry jam, a hybrid blackberry from Oregon, is excellent. The food is quite good. Corned beef hash is without a doubt made fresh. Big pieces of shredded beef with potatoes and lots of fresh spices. This hash has a zing to it. We both ordered the small portion of their corned beef so it came with one egg (instead of two) and we chose english muffin (instead of toast) and got half each (vs. a whole each). With a side of their potatoes, which were also good and plentiful, we had enough left overs for breakfast the next day. Which we also enjoyed. All told, we were in and out in one hour. Food was very good. We always had coffee. We thought our waitress was unfriendly, but she's just super busy. So five stars for holding down the dining rooms with two staff members and serving tasty, well prepared food. Paula processed our card payment. Forgot to check out the restrooms. I think they are in the last dining area (where a big business meeting of some company was going on at the time) behind the bar room.

As a long-time resident who has frequented this restaurant since moving here in 2005, I want to be fair in my assessment. However, my recent visits have left much to be desired since the reopening. I understand that new staff and chefs may bring changes, but unfortunately, these changes have not been in the right direction for me. I will focus on my most recent visit as it remains fresh in my memory. The service provided by the staff was pleasant enough, and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her French toast. However, the southwest Benedict, which was a special menu item, was a disappointment. It lacked the flavor and texture I expected. The chorizo resembled a mashed-up slurry rather than the savory sausage it should have been. While the biscuit was enjoyable and the eggs were passable, the accompanying toppings failed to enhance the overall taste. Furthermore, the potatoes were excessively salty, rendering the entire dish overwhelmingly seasoned. Despite my dissatisfaction, I consumed what I could and pushed the plate aside. The server promptly cleared the table without inquiring about our dining experience. I understand that my own reluctance to express my displeasure is partly to blame. As an introvert, I find it challenging to voice my concerns proactively. I cannot predict when I will return to this restaurant, but I genuinely hope that they make necessary adjustments and improvements. Even the highly praised muffins, which I typically adore, fell short of expectations during my last visit. They seemed like leftover pastries from the previous day--hardened and lacking the usual freshness. To reiterate, I genuinely wish for this establishment to succeed. I hope they take the time to refine their offerings and strive for improvement. Given the opportunity, I would be willing to return. We had such a great time during our last visit that we decided to come back for brunch, but this time the experience was just okay. The restaurant itself is super clean and well kept, and the food came out hot with very large portions, which we appreciated. However, the food didn't quite live up to our previous visit. One of the dishes we ordered was supposed to include chicken, but it arrived with mostly potatoes. When we asked about it, we were told that the dish definitely had chicken in it, which was confusing -- especially since we had no reason to question or "make that up." The service was okay, but the server didn't seem very interested or engaged, which made the experience feel a bit flat compared to last time. Overall, nothing was bad, but it also didn't wow us like before. The cleanliness, portion sizes, and hot food were definite positives , but the food and service were average this time around. Hopefully, it was just an off day, because we know this place can do better. read more

The best place ever!!!! They have massive portions that you can take home and eat for 2-3 more meals. and for only 9.99 that's a good deal. You're essentially paying 3.33 for each meal. And it's tasty to boot!! They have the best muffins. Have you ever had a costco muffin? Well these are those on crack! They're that good!!!! No joke. The decor is a little odd, but there's plenty to look at. The walls are completely covered in pictures or little nick-nacks. It's a fun place to stop by if you're on your way through. read more

EVERYONE who works there is sooo kind. They make it a point to make every costumer feel appreciated and cared for. I've been going there for over 15 years and it never varies, always feels like home. There food is amazing from top to bottom of there menu. One scramble last me a few days for breakfast lunch and dinner so the $15 goes a long long way. Please give them your business! My family of four loved The Kettle - it's a nice little place with good food and good service. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. My niece especially loved their muffins. The portions were huge, and we all left feeling satisfied. The atmosphere was great, making it the best place to get breakfast in town. Today, we visited the Kettle Cafe in Enumclaw and were struck by its welcoming and comforting ambiance. The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Sat by the front door so Dust and dander flew off the window sill with every entry and exit. Never again. I have been coming to the kettle for as long as i can remember. There scrambles are HUGE!! and at a great price! All the waiters have worked there for several years and are great at what they do.
