Contacted several locksmiths to make a duplicate for my Range Rover. The Key Master was by far 1. The most responsive 2. best communication - send photo of possible keys asked all the relevant questions before generating aquote. 3. Best Service - sent a tech out to perform the job at a location of my choosing 4. Best price - their initial price was lower than all of the others - most quoted over double of the price with no warranty and tried to charge extra for the tech travel. The Key master price was the lowest and included both a 6 month warranty and the travel. Will be my first call in the Phoenix area. It's honestly a Zero star but, I am not that person. This review is just for their dispatchers shit attitude. I don't know if they are are any good or fairly priced. I am in town for 3 days and on a tight schedule to get my car maintenance, oil change, tires changed, keys programmed. I used the YELP feature to obtain an appointment on Friday around 6:19, they texted back at 6:23 they quoted me and asked me what I thought? . I replied at 6:35 with my address and gate code and said anytime is fine with me. AT 6:38 they replied "Perfect the technician will be there. I will TEXT you when he is on his way. Have a good day" They agreed to be here Saturday. they texted me a the quote , they texted me appointment confirmation. I texted at 9 a.m. Saturday on a request for status at 9:01 and the texted back at 9:42 " Hello James the technician can be there between 3:00 and 4:00 pm works for you ? " At 9:43 "Yes, I will make sure we are here. they replied at At 9:44 "Perfect " aT 3:21 I texted "ETA" no response. I am nervous I picked the wrong vendor so I texted at 4:00 status and at 4:04 they respond "Hello James the technician He kept calling to tell her he was coming and there was never any answer." They simply were never going to tell us they were not coming. We never ever discussed at anytime that we need to be looking for a phone call from some tech otherwise he would not show up. We are packing to move and the phone is on the counter and we kept checking for a text if he was running late. We were outside packing the car he would be programming. Here is the reason for the review. Remember at 6:38 they instructed me they would text when the tech was on the way, we never discussed service was based on any other conditions and they are so busy with other customers which frankly isn't my problem "We are sorry James, we have a tight schedule, that is why the technician calls and if there is no answer he does not go to the place, there are people who do not answer and then they make them go and they were not there or do not want the service. That is why your system works like this. I would like to reschedule for tomorrow?" Maybe I am old school or I just don't like to be lied to. if I make a Doctor's appointment or a dinner reservation, or order food for pick up and I don't call ahead and if they don't answer, not show up. We never discussed or agreed to sit an wait for a call from someone or it was no service. I looked on Yelp and ran up to Sundial Lock in Tempe about 4:45 and he programmed 3 keys with a tablet in my car and was out the door at 5;05 for a bit more half the price of this place.
