Great view! Outdoor dining on the marina with views of the lake. I had the Cuban sandwich, which was actually fantastic! Loaded with meat and just the right amount of cheese, all on a fresh, soft roll with just enough crust to be chewy. And it was just salty enough for taste. Fries were also nicely done. I tried one of the signature cocktails (the name of which I can't recall at the moment). It was a gin drink with St. Germain elderflower and a hint of mint... light, refreshing and DELISH. (And I'm pretty picky about my cocktails). This place is nothing fancy, the cocktail garnish is rather low-grade, and there are high-octane daiquiris swirling behind the bar, but the food was impressive and I was surprised at how friendly the servers were... Great experience! Okay, it was a Tues lunch ... kind of tough to mess up unless you're really awful! The Grouper Reuben was a delicious twist on a classic sandwich. Highly recommended. The trouble with Put in Bay for me is that everyone compares it to Key West or Florida in general. Rarely does this feel accurate to me. The Keys is the answer. The view of the water is beautiful, the drinks are well made, the food is excellent and the staff is friendly. This combination makes me feel like a vacation in Florida. If you were looking for a fancy romantic dinner, then this is just a three star place. But taking it for what it was intended to be - simple seafood, good drinks, chowder, burgers and a beautiful view in a casual atmosphere - this place is perfect. The fish tacos, conch chowder, conch fritters and burgers were all excellent. They also make a superb "Dark and Stormy," which most places mess up. The outdoor seating and fire pit makes it a nice place to stop if you just want a date night drink. Enjoy! read more

Because of its proximity to the Jet Express dock, it was the first bar we saw (and the first bar we stopped at). Beers were reasonably priced, as well as the pina colada ordered and devoured. If only the Jet Express would let you take drinks on the boat! read more

Um well what can I say I went here twice as in once the first evening and the second time for our last meal. The first time we sat outside by the fire pits and tiki torches. I got the lobster sliders and sweet potato fries. My partner in crime got the conch. It was soooo good best thing I had at this place. It's what saves this from a lower rating because our second time was atrocious and would rate a negative star. We literal waited fifteen minutes for a server after going to the hostesses three times. I got the Key West salad that really could of used more of the other ingredients than lettuce. I got it with chicken on top. My hubby got the salad with Brussels sprouts and kale. He loved it we just were so disenchanted with being ignored. We were so preoccupied with that we really couldn't enjoy our food as much as we would of. read more

I had been wanting to eat here forever! I'm so glad I finally did because it was such a cool chill place. It felt whimsical and definitely had a Florida feel, plus you get to eat waterfront just like if you were on vacation. The food was really good; Mahi tacos, onion rings, pizza, fries....so yummy! Came here every day for our 3 day weekend at PIB! We first came for dinner in the sushi bar upstairs and it felt like I was in Miami with the great view we had. The sushi was a little expensive but it was delicious none the less. After that we noticed a fire pit had been lit up and a band playing so we spent another hour or so hanging out and enjoying the music. The bushwakers are great, just like you'd get in key west! We ate @ the bar on a Monday afternoon for lunch. Keys was only 1/2 full but the bar tender was nice and friendly. The food was ok. Edible but not great. What you would expect at a bar/Resturant on a high traffic island drinking tourist destination like Put-In Bay. Service was great though so not much to complain about. I had the Chad Burger, topped with bacon, cheese, pulled pork and fried onion strings with BBQ sauce. It had good taste but the burger was over cooked (gray middle). My wife had the flat bread BBQ ham pizza and she said it was also good. Great view of the water and friendly atmosphere. read more

The Keys experience is somewhere between a 3 and a 4, depending on when you go and what you order. We've had enjoyable drinks here, but they were on the expensive side and aren't precisely made from scratch (frozen mixes and so on). Often the wait staff is a little busy, which delays drink refills perhaps more than it should. That said, the menu is fairly eclectic, the food is decent (I rave about the flatbreads!), and the view is magnificent! In my opinion, it's worth a stop for lunch or a casual dinner if you're out on Put-In-Bay. read more

Bright, colorful, and cheerful looking! "Let's go there!," said my sister after getting off the Jet Express. But then you sit down to eat lunch and you wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. And then finally leave because nobody ever comes to your table after you are seated. Which is probably fine because the menu was very limited and looked overpriced compared to other restaurants on PIB. The hostess started out cheerful but when we politely asked if we could be seated at a table closer to the large open windows near the patio, that seemed to piss her right off. And from there not a single employee ever made eye contact, said "I'll be right with you!," nothing. Perhaps it was busy you are wondering? No, not really. It was that in-between lunch and dinner time. And so we left and nobody seemed all that concerned. Came very late for dinner, staff was friendly and gracious even though it was only ten minutes to closing. We Ordered the conch fritters and were very happy that we did. Delicious! Definitely use the lime. Crab bisque was next and also very good. The Cuban was our next delicious endeavor with the shoestring fries. Our server was attentive and very nice.
