SOOO BAD...AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Went in the place smelled fishy, yes it's a seafood Cajun boil place but this place was extremely fishy. Came out smelling terrible. All smells aside, I ordered a pound of shrimp kickin' style and my friend ordered 3 pounds of shrimp for her and her kids. We could not peel the shrimp, this shrimp was so over cooked. I try to not cause a scene and ask if they could exchange my shrimp for fresh shrimp. The guy says of course, takes the shrimp back and brings out a new bag. Now this bag of shrimp is even more over cooked. I tell the manager I couldn't eat my food because I couldn't peel it. He says "okay I'll give you a discount" doesn't offer to make things right just says I'll give you a discount on a $160 bill. All I can say is AVOID this place. If you come here and don't like overcooked shrimp then steer clear. You're better off lighting your money on fire. read more

Iv'e been to so many kickin crabs out in LA but mostly the boiling crab and now i know not to go to the kickin crab . Yesterday my man ordered me a 35.50 dollar lobster , while were opening it up there was no meat . And if there was any it was so disgusting it was so spungy i didnt even enjoy , our waitress was horrible she took about 20 minutes to bring the check she said "how are you guys " " we need the check just that the lobster was really nasty , dry & spungy, she said "okay let me talk to my manger " about 2 minutes or 1 later a different waitress comes saying so because you guys told us so late we cant do anything about it" . Be prepared to wait for table and food if you go on Saturday night. Place is very busy and seems they are short staffed on everything. My Family and I eat kickin crab all the time the ones in Orange County but this Kickin crab right here in Riverside, Ca . is so bad the food was disgusting ... They gave me raw shrimp. Horrible service!!!! So upset it's like 35 degrees outside, when I called to let them know instead of apologizing and telling us to take just take the old bag back and that they would have a fresh order for us when we got there they didn't even apologize they said the only way I can give you a replacement or refund is if you bring back the raw shrimp. Good service, they were nice and friendly, I had ordered the Cajun fries as an appetizer and my drink before I ordered my actual food, within in 2 minutes after I ordered those and when the server came with my drink and to take my actual order they had already had the fries out ready to serve. This was a tough one to rate. If we based it off food alone it would have been a 5 star hands down, the food was delicious! The problem... we waited almost an hour for our food and it was not busy. When we walked in there were only like 2 other tables going, when we left there were about 6, with one big party of at least 6 people. If it wasn't so hard to find a decent crab place we may have walked out. Definitely glad we didn't though. I had snow crab with garlic butter and corn, my husband had the Louisiana style snow crab with a medium spice and the potatoes and my son had king crab with Cajun mild. We all devoured our food like it was gonna run off our plate. Hopefully next time won't be such a long wait, but we will definitely try again. We will just make sure we give ourselves plenty of time. No kids menu available, so my daughter had fries. Also the ladies restroom was very stinky which is always of-putting. All the food came in a plastic bag that was great in flavor, but poor on quality: crab overcooked; corn previously frozen - definitely not fresh; sausage small, flavorless and rubbery; clam portion mostly consisted of clams shells; my wife enjoyed the shrimp. I really like this place. I usually place my order for pick-up. The employees there have always been very friendly and have my order ready when I get there. I can only comment on the shrimp because that's what I usually get. The flavor of the shrimp are really good. It has a garlic/butter taste with the rest of the seasonings they add. Also, the shrimp are very big compared to other places I've been to. I've tried other places in Moreno Valley/Riverside area and so far I keep coming back to this location.
