This place is better then a lot of other places Guaranteed Yummy!!! You won't regret it.

Came here with my parents and brother for lunch. We were excited to try it as the Moreno Valley/Riverside are is lacking in great restaurants like these. We ordered a share bag and then a lb of shrimp in medium heat sauce of the mixed flavors. Everything was excellent. All the items in the bag were delicious! We ordered the naan bread great choice!! And also the tacos which my dad couldn't stop raving over. They have a bar if you want alcohol there or at the table. The servers and host we all very kind! If i didn't have to rate this place i wouldn't give fucking star, i love calamari , i have never had some black ass squid like this. First off i called numerous time and i was left on hold for like nine minutes. That's so ridiculous , when i picked up my order , initially it was cold , this was my first time here at this place , i was expecting it to be like the pictures on Google but it was initially the opposite. Overall i'm disappointed and i wasted my 12 dollars . I will credit them for their cajun sauce. Honestly maybe the staff isn't familiar with peeping the food, since this is a new location. But i have to say boiling crabs calamari is my all time favorite i was hoping this would be too. Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. But to each it's own. I'm sure kickin crab has plenty other dishes to offer as i see listed here on yelp , great reviews on everything besides the calamari. I'd like to see improvement, hopefully you guys, also tighten up on your customer service, because it's rude to first have anyone on hold for 9minutes & then when i arrived there was barely anyone seated . Excellent Cajun-style seafood. I ordered the King crab and Cajun-style fries and was not disappointed. The place was clean and new, and the staff were helpful, positive, and polite. Have been here twice and after doing so, I feel like the service at this location is rather slow. I usually go to the Chino location but this one is down the street from my residence. The servers are friendly don't get me wrong but maybe they need more cooks in the kitchen bc the wait time to getting your food, let alone to be 'seated' is insane. read more

The service SUCKS!!!! There's 6 of us. We noticed there's a lot of empty tables but they don't try to accommodate us. Three people came in and they seated them first removing chair from table for 6. The staff are sooooooo lazy. I noticed instead of cleaning the table so that they can seat the customers waiting I saw them just talking. Five stars for the food (SNOW CRAB LOBSTER BOIL) my favorite, but more importantly for a TOP NOTCH waiter Hunter Nguyen, He has amazing energy, he's quick efficient and has a great personality so great we are regulars and request him as our waiter every time. Yesterday was my first visit, the food was spectacular and the service even more spectacular! We ordered the mussels, crawfish and shrimp it was delicious! The prices are reasonable, and you must order "The Palmer" its peach tea and pink lemonade mixed, it's not on the menu you have to ask for it. The only downside is the table space, we were at a table for four and bumped elbows the whole time. Other than that I plan on visiting here again next week! read more

Came here with some friends on one of their busy nights but the quality of service and food was outstanding. We had wings and garlic noodles for appetizer, both came out pretty fast and were excellent. The shrimps in Lousiana seasoning were really good, tasted like no other places. We also got the crawfish, sausages and clams with Kickin' Style and you can never go wrong with this seasoning. Last but not least, the King Crab Legs with Garlic Butter sauce (non-spicy only) satisfied us the most. One of my favorite seafood restaurants, hands down! read more

This is a good place if you don't feel like driving a long way for your first choice in Cajun boil. This place is big and has a lot of seating located by a Walmart and a round table. I do enjoy places like this and if you never been to a Cajun boil this is worth a look. I do like their prices. Kickin crab has a good combo meal deal which gives a good amount of food. Not really the best early date place because the pealing of a lot of the seafood can take a while preventing talking because your so focused on trying to get your food out of a shell. Only go to this place if you don't mind getting your hands dirty, but well worth the experience if you like seafood and want to try something different. read more

Today I got a pound of shrimp to go. The rice was not fresh at all, and the shrimp juice was too thick compared to other kicking' Crabs. The shrimp was super difficult to peel. I didn't enjoy it and I left about half of it uneaten plus I had to throw my rice away since it was so hard. Other kicking crabs rice (the one in chino) their rice taste like butter and soft but this one was plain and hard. Over all it the flavor of the shrimp was ok... but not satisfied. And BTW I live in Loma Linda and it's a 20 min drive so that's why I didn't go back to say something. read more

Visiting Riverside area for a business trip, and did not know there is a Kickin' Crab location there. I've been a fan of their great food and beer, so I gotta stop by for some goodness. We ordered combo #1 with crawfish, shrimps and clamps with fiesta sauce, and king crab legs with garlic butter, and DON'T FORGET to order some beer, if you are a fan of IPA, try their new Wilson IPA. man this place was not it, so for starters the waiters took forever to get to us . when i ordered the waiter told me that the best seasoning to get is all of them , so i took his word and got it . But when the shrimp got to my table there was no seasoning the shrimp was just white and still filled with the poop of the shrimp . i told the waiter and he said all shrimps and food are like that and i usually never say anything but that was not it . read more

Came in over the weekend, busy but sat in about 30 minutes. Our server, Terry, was prompt and took our order quickly and surprisingly without writing it down! Food took a little long but was worth the wait like always. I was completely ANGERED & DISAPPOINTED after waiting for an HOUR yesterday 2/14 , just to be told they were out of crab ! It was only 6:30 ! I'm sure they knew this would be one or their busiest nights which they obviously weren't prepared for. When I asked why nobody told us this BEFORE we waited , the server pointed to a sign she said was "by the door" . People are standing up all around the door where she said this sign was posted so at no point could it be seen clearly . That's something that should be posted ON THE DOOR or AT the waiting list spot . They could've had the servers that were standing at waiting list spot communicate that to everyone but at no point did they do that. SOOO BAD...AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Went in the place smelled fishy, yes it's a seafood Cajun boil place but this place was extremely fishy. Came out smelling terrible. All smells aside, I ordered a pound of shrimp kickin' style and my friend ordered 3 pounds of shrimp for her and her kids. We could not peel the shrimp, this shrimp was so over cooked. I try to not cause a scene and ask if they could exchange my shrimp for fresh shrimp. The guy says of course, takes the shrimp back and brings out a new bag. Now this bag of shrimp is even more over cooked. I tell the manager I couldn't eat my food because I couldn't peel it. He says "okay I'll give you a discount" doesn't offer to make things right just says I'll give you a discount on a $160 bill. All I can say is AVOID this place. If you come here and don't like overcooked shrimp then steer clear. You're better off lighting your money on fire. read more
