We contracted with TKM for a large project to replace our existing concrete porch that is 30' long and brick walkway that were cracked and deteriorating. We also have a small pond area they spruced up for us. Our porch had beams and railings that had to be removed, the concrete pad demolished, found a layer of foundation cinder blocks that were cracked and needed replacing, and they were awesome throughout the process. I had 7 different contractors out to look at the project and I am so glad I went with TKM. Nik and Dave were nice to work with to set up the design, the contract was nicely itemized with labor and material cost included which other contractors failed to really do, and they handled all of the subcontractor needs. The carpenter (Thanh) did a great job removing and replacing the beams and railings, doing some repair work as well for some rotted wood in the overhang. The main workers led by Dilmer were conscientious, hard working in the heat, and did excellent work. They worked daily from 0700 -1530. The project was done as scheduled even with missing a couple of days when Tropical Storm Debby hit and the rain prevented work. I highly recommend The King's Masons for stone work you're looking to do. This is quality work, not cheap, but well worth the cost. They will handle all of the phases. read more

My wife and I are so incredibly impressed with The King's Masons. As many of you know, it's very difficult to find a contractor that has a true team from consultation to unbelievably skilled craftsman, immaculate attention to detail, provides special care of your property, and pricing that's 100% fair and reasonable. We have found our go-to company for outdoor space improvements. It was time for us to do a major overhaul on our exterior. The objective was to find a contractor we could trust with a large scope of work - and that we did well beyond our expectations. Our scope of work included a new exterior entryway, walkway to the backyard, existing backyard patio repair, erosion mitigation in the backyard to include regrading, teardown/removal of old shed and stick-built construction of an 18'x10' shed/shop on a new concrete pad to include coordination for electrical. The consultation was completed by a very knowledgeable team that worked with us to not only assist with planning, but made several suggestions we didn't even think of, all of which saved a lot of money. During the planning process they meticulously measured slope conditions and ensured lot drainage was kept away from the home then routed our guttering 40' away from the house using a very high quality, large diameter PVC to include a cleanout (things we didn't even think of). Before they do any work, they want to mitigate any potential issues regarding grade and moisture near the slab. On the first day of the project, the highly skilled masons and planning team met with my wife and I to ensure everything we planned was transferred to the field. Before breaking ground, they ensured we were happy with the traced layout and were pleased to make changes to the curvature of the entryway once we saw it laid out. The masons and field supervisors took over from there with nearly daily visits from the planners. As a homeowner, it was literally the first time I've ever felt like "they got it - no need to worry about anything." The care they took with my property, including my lawn, was as if I was doing the work myself. I can't explain how impressed I am with this company. You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't consider The King's Masons and give them a serious look. Integrity, considerate, meticulous, fair, and reasonable, all made for a zero-stress homeowner experience. Based on positive reviews, my husband contacted King's Masons for a quote to install pavers from our driveway to the deck in our backyard. Initially, communication extremely slow, but the office manager was genuinely apologetic, explaining they are very busy at the beginning of spring. In the back of my mind, King's Mason was not at the top my list because timely communication is important to me. However, once Richard Baker (owner) was able to come by to discuss our landscaping project, I had a change of heart. Richard was knowledgeable and an absolute professional. In the consultation, he offered some good suggestions and presented us with affordable options. The quality of work was exceptional and completed in a timely manner. RUN AWAY FROM THEM. Had them come to quote replacing my porch railing and putting in some new walkways. They said they would only give me a quote if I paid $400 for a full landscape design. I agreed but never got the design. They missed multiple appointments and their "designer" lost all her interview notes. I called and complained and told them I wanted to stop working with them. They said they knew the designer was a problem but she had medical issues so if I would give them another chance it was free if I was not 100% satisfied. They came back again, still never gave me a reputable landscape design and then told me I had to pay more money because they had to hire someone as they didn't know how to do the railing that was the primary reason I called. I refused to pay as they did not deliver and now they are taking me to small claims court. Run...Richard Baker and his crew are terrible and crooked. read more
