Our Favorite Safety Harbor Restaurant! Food and Service is always amazing! Went for brunch for Mothers day and sat outside, it was a lovely experience!

We've lived in SH 5 1/2 years and never ate here. We stopped by on a third Friday in March. They were booked and they took reservations. Somebody in line said they drove up from Sarasota to eat here so we soon realize this was a place to try. We tried it tonight and found a buried treasure. The food was amazing, our server was great. The way the place is set up, in an old house is very cozy and cool. It's not your typical restaurant where it feels like you're eating in a warehouse. This is a new (to use) safety harbor gem we will return to. Probably for a weekend brunch! Please take the time to view the bathroom pics. You can tell everything about a restaurant by its bathroom.

Service was not the best. It started off with the host. The host didn't even smile and she looked extremely lost. We told her we had a reservation and she just was looking like we asked her to solve an extremely difficult math problem. No "welcome in" or anything. What really threw me off was the server. Her name was Abigail. Me and my friend asked her a couple times what was good on the menu and all she did was walk away. Yes, WALKED AWAY. Every single time we ask her a question all she responded with was "okay thank you" and walked away. It was like speaking to a wall. The only saving grace of this place is that they have good food and their drinks are pretty strong.

Great experience! Waiter was very friendly and did a great job! The espresso martini was great. The crab eggs Benedict was phenomenal! Cooked perfectly and great flavor. The food here is super good. The only thing I would like to see would be a breakfast menu for kids as the kids menu is more lunch/dinner based. Other than that this place is super cute, love the outdoor seating options too.

Stopped in for breakfast and had such a wonderful experience. Our server was incredibly kind, and everything flowed seamlessly from being seated right away to receiving our food and drinks without any wait. The atmosphere inside was cozy and charming, making it the perfect spot to start the day. The food was excellent. The breakfast tacos were flavorful, but the shrimp and grits truly stole the show, easily some of the best I've ever had. Free street parking was available all around and easy to find, even on the weekend, which made the visit even more convenient. I'll definitely be coming back!

I've been wanting to try out this place for well over a year, and I finally made the trip down to the kitchen. I'm almost upset I waited so long to try this place out because everything was wonderful from the food to the service. My husband had the lamb and it was so tender that it came easily off the bone. I had the red fish which was equally delicious. We finished off the evening with a decadent s'mores bread pudding. My only critique was that the orzo with the fish could have used a tad more seasoning. But overall, I look forward to coming back.

This is my favorite restaurant in the Harbor. Forget Bar Fly or Water Oak and come HERE! The food is always incredible, Alex and Scott are amazing staff, and the ambiance is super cozy and casual as it's a converted old home. LOVE it here

In true safety harbor fashion, this cute little restaurant is located in a house on the corner. Comfortable and cozy choose what part of the house you want to sit in or eat out on the back patio. Dogs welcome outside. The service is attentive with a smile and the menu reads eclectic which i love. So why three stars? The food and drinks just fell a bit short for me and the prices are high for the food you get. The food descriptors sound more delicious than it is. The food wasn't bad, I just expected more especially when you charge $17 for a couple of breakfast street tacos and some burnt potato's. I was there for Brunch and chose that menu item because it was a fan favorite and supposedly their best item. To me I wasn't that impressed. It was just ok. The mimosa has several flavor choice so I tried the dirty pear which was odd but good. The bill is delivered inside of a faux Passport with blank pages to add a note or sign you were there which is a cute touch. Again not fantastic just good. For the prices I don't think I will be going back

Great cocktails and food. The restaurant is pricey and portions on the smaller size. Definitely a unique date night location.

They have tasting machines, which they stock about 20 different wines available for a "sip" (1 ounce pour), a 2oz and glass pour. They rotate these wines regularly and you get a card that you can put in the machine to pour it. Then you just pay on your tab after! We came for the Happy Hour which I believe was 25% off wines and some food items. It was fun to SIP on many different wine choices and sit outside. Such a lovely time!

My friend doesn't actually drink alcohol but thankfully they have a small list of mocktails and nonalcoholic drinks, and I know nothing about wines except that I usually only like roses, which thankfully they had a flight of! Emerson, our server, did a great job explaining the different notes of the rose options, and helping us pick a fourth cheese option as we were building our board. Now on to the charcuterie, what we really came here for. Delicious! The only thing we left any bit of was the complimentary crasins and a bit of the horseradish cheddar. We inhaled the Brie, regular goat cheese, and mustard & ale cheddar, plus the prosciutto and salami. It also came with figs and Carr's crackers; again we only left some crasins and the bit of horseradish cheese, everything else was phenomenal. I would come back in a heartbeat just for the BYOCB situation. We also checked out some of the truffle options, but ended up opting to try those some other time. The interior is intimate and cozy with black marble inspired tables and velveteen emerald seating. They also have a bar that seats maybe a dozen people plus a few outdoor tables. It also looked like there was a small room for groups or events possibly. Don't quote me on that though. Street parking is available right outside and all around on the nearby side streets.
