Love the Kitty Beautiful and have always had a good time. We've been to visit the cats in their space, but have also been for a Purrder Mystery Evening and Cat Yoga. They hold regular events that you can easily find on their socials, so be sure to follow them and check out what is on offer. My most recent visit was cat yoga, and it was such a great experience. They had 25 cats in the cafe at the time and while some were shy and more reserved, many of them were active, playful, and friendly. They adored our yoga mats, and immediately claimed them for themselves (as you can see from the pictures). The cat area is always clean and tidy, the cafe offers comfortable seating and free WIFI, and the overall vibe is open and welcoming. The employees are extremely kind however the smell of the cat room itself is extremely overwhelming. We were so excited to finally visit this cat cafe, we booked 1 hours for 3 people for $45 and we were also planning on eating at the cafe as well. The attendant did tell us as we were checking in that recently some of the cats were adopted so there a lot of newer cats that were shy. We didn't see that as many cats as we were expecting and just could not get over the strong pungent smell. It was very very bad. Let me tell you BAD!!!! SMELL!!! . The Kitty Beautiful is such a fun space! The front of the cafe has custom coffee, cocktails and snacks (including the cutest cat loaves of bread by C-M Bakarí). The space is comfortable and relaxed with incredibly friendly staff. The back area is dedicated to the cats - all available for adoption (which as of today, they've facilitated over 1100 adoptions!). With three rooms and additional themed spaces available, there are plenty of toys for the cats to enjoy (and plenty of cats for you to enjoy!) My daughter and I visited on 7/7 and were very hopeful about adopting a couple of new family members. We lost our 2 senior kitties this past year and were looking to find some new family members to help heal our hearts. We were very disappointed with our experience at the cat cafe. There was 1 volunteer working in the room and while she was very friendly she had little to no knowledge about any of the cats in the room. We were very confused the whole time we were there and couldn't figure out who was who amongst the cats. The owner(?) came in a couple times but did not interact with anyone much. We left there very disappointed and sad and feeling more lost about finding new fur babies than we felt before we went. I guess our search will continue elsewhere. read more

So this is a cute like café with a bonus. You can pay for 1/2 hr or 1hr to mingle with all the cats in the back. When we went, there were about 20 cats available for adoption. You can pet,play with, and love on them. Or adopt! They will bring your food/ drink to you in the kitty area if you prefer. i adore the kitty beautiful! the staff are so friendly and i like how all of the safety precautions and rules are explained right off the bat instead of having me try to figure it out by myself. everything was communicated well and i thought it was cool that i could bring my food and drink order into the cat cafe. i appreciate that they serve food at all! i've been to a few without food/drink before. the cats are lovely and they have a large area to play. i came in right as the cafe opened, so a lot of the cats had energy while some others were napping or sunbathing. they didn't bother the food and were happy to run around and play. there's a great selection of toys and multiple places to sit. food and beverages were good too! i'm vegan and most things were veganizable on the menu. i got the cutest grilled cheese in the shape of a cat with an order of tomato soup! the cat-shaped bread was actually adorable. the coffee was creative and delicious as well. all cats are adoptable, so if you're looking or considering adopting a cat it's definitely worthwhile to stop by and check out the different cats to see if you click with anybody! read more

I'm about like two months late on this review but came here February 19 and it was a really fun and cute experience. Came out here to visit my bf and saw this hidden gem near a matcha place we were at. Decided to go in and they have their own pastries and treats along with sandwiches and more. It was only 13 dollars per person for an hour! They made us wash our hands first and then we go in and chill with the cats. They're all foster cats and are adoptable as well. Everyone who works there is super sweet. Loved how they treat the cats like their own and filled us in on most cats. This is my family's second visit to The Kitty Beautiful! We love having the opportunity to sit and watch the cats in their own environment. It's interesting to see who will be willing to come over for attention. Most of the cats weren't willing unless you had a treat to give them. So be prepared to buy treats if you truly want to interact with the cats. There is a owner / worker in the room at all times which I appreciate. They ensure that nothing is happening to make the cats unhappy. The place is a little cluttered in comparison to other cat cafés I've visited. Over all we had a great experience. I visited The Kitty Beautiful cat cafe in downtown Orlando on a Wednesday at noon. We petted and played with the cats. Some cats just wanted to be left alone or were sleeping. The cats here are available for adoption with the exception of Bongo the house cat. The cat cafe has had 400+ adoptions with the Cats Can non-profit. That is awesome. We paid for an hour of cat time online. There only is street metered parking available and it costs $1 per hour. We bought a cute cat shaped grilled cheese sandwich too. However, the worst part for me here was the litterbox smell. The litterboxes were everywhere in the cat play area. How regularly are the litterboxes cleaned? Some of the furniture in the cat play area was worn out or covered with a blanket. Also some areas also looked cluttered, needed a closed cabinet or some organization. I liked The Orlando Cat Cafe in Clermont better because of the litterbox situation. The Orlando Cat Cafe had all the litterboxes in a different room with the door shut and a cat door for the cats to access it. There was no smell there. What a great experience!! For starters, we had to book ahead of time. We had planned on going to a different cat cafe, but they did not have availability so we ended up going here. When we first walked in, we were surprisingly greeted by a dog! The cafe had a huge menu of items to order (I believe they said we could bring anything in to the cat room besides a couple items). They had food, coffee, sodas, and alcohol. I ordered some type of peanut butter latte which was outstanding! I was not expecting the coffee to be good - I figured this place was known for the cats not the coffee. However, I would go back just for the coffee alone. Once we got into the room with the cats, the staff was very engaging and helpful. They told us all about the cats, their different personalities, and how to get them to come up to us. Certain cats liked certain toys and they showed us each one. However, the staff also gave us time to ourselves to spend with the cats, so they weren't too overbearing. Overall a good experience. Parking was a little tricky but not too bad. I would recommend only booking time for an hour. The woman at the front was giving attitude when asking about the 14 dollar entrance fee to see the cats, which is also the first time I've heard of a cat cafe charging for entrance. Didn't try the food, but it sounds like it would be good! The cats were adorable. However, the stench of litter boxes and pee and cat food was extremely overwhelming. I would recommend them to put the litter boxes and maybe the food in a separate room? It just did not seem like a clean area. Honestly, I just recommend that the staff clean it up a bit in the cafe area and fix the stench. 4.5 Stars They deserve a star for the name alone! I giggled over that for a good minute. If you're looking to go, I recommend booking a reservation online as they are limiting capacity at the moment; we shared the space with 2 other small groups. There were plenty of spaces and rooms, so we felt very comfortable with the distance we were able to maintain. Masks are, of course, required. The cat area is large and spacious, and filled with toys and enrichment for the cats. There are also air purifiers scattered throughout the rooms, so I feel that odors and allergens are being reduced as much as possible (if you are allergic to cats, I recommend that you take personal precautions ahead of time). When we went, there were 15 cats, but they were scattered throughout. Now, I think it's important to emphasize that animals are NOT toys and entertainment. If you're hoping for an experience where you can sit down and have many cats come to you to seek attention, cuddle, and play with you for the full hour, you might leave disappointed. Cats are living beings and, again, they are cats -- so most of the them were taking naps or hiding away in their cozy corners. You get a pretty good variety of personalities, some were definitely more receptive to the constant influx of human attention and some were not. Be gentle and respectful of their boundaries. The volunteers in the room are very familiar with the cats' personalities and will definitely help you initiate play with the ones they feel are receptive to it. I was able to have a lovely play session with Bongo and two other kitties, but there were definitely some cats who just wanted to be left alone. If you want to bring a big group of young children, I wouldn't recommend coming to The Kitty Beautiful. Children should definitely be supervised the whole time as we did experience cats that hissed and wanted to be left alone. This is not a petting zoo type of experience. Again, if you're looking to get a more playful experience, ask the volunteers in the room to point you in the right direction. The cafe in the front was nice and had a pretty decent variety of offerings. I can't speak for the coffee, but my group and I all enjoyed our sodas. I had the Cherry Cream Soda and my husband had a Butterbeer. Both were made in-house and were extremely tasty; my husband said the Butterbeer was better than Universal's (a high compliment)! Atmosphere-wise is where I deducted the half-point. I personally didn't find the space to be very aesthetic or visually appealing, but it was clean and a great space for the cats. Overall, I had a lovely time at The Kitty Beautiful and really appreciate how passionate the team is about the well-being of their cats (which is sometimes not the case with animal cafes). It's a great experience, especially if you're looking to adopt a cat. Pre-COVID, they also held movie nights and cat yoga sessions. Alright. So here's the low-down. Cat cafés originated over seas in the late 1990s and have since become a trend in America. American cat cafés are organized to provide a home-like shelter for cats to stay while they are on the market for adoption. That being said, financial support comes from the cover fee that is required to schedule an appointment to sit with the cats. This café has a reasonable fee of $10 per head. This café also features a variety of speciality beverages that help balance out the books. I purchased the pineapple kombucha on tap and it was crisp and refreshing. HUGE HUGE IMPORTANT FACT!! Cats are animals and animals go to the bathroom. Do not walk into any cat café and be shocked that it smells like cats! This is a giant space for them to roam and call home, it will smell as such. ANOTHER HUGE IMPORTANT FACT!! Bring a lint roller. Seriously!! Most of these cats are lovey lovey, it will show on your clothes when you finish your hour of cat cuddles. Overall, I will definitely be back in the future to support the adoption center. I enjoyed the cats a lot as many of them are very friendly and playful. HOW FUN! I am not a "cat person" but wanted to take my nieces who love cats to experience the Cafe. Staff was super super friendly and it's obvious that they care about the animals. We spent an hour and were not rushed at all. The staff checked in on us a few times to make sure we were enjoying everything. The cafe has some good items as well. I suggest go a little early before your scheduled "kitty time" and have a coffee and or snack before you go in. Then afterwards you can get something to go. When I visited, there were 15 adoptable cats, plus their resident cutie Bongo! The adoption fees are standard, which begin at $125 for kittens and slightly decrease after the age of one. They have guests wash their hands and use complimentary masks if they are not already wearing one prior to entry. I saw three different spaces for cats to roam between. I'm a big fan of cats. In fact, I have four at home. But I can never get enough kitty time. We came out for the first time when they were still relatively new. Then during the Christmas break this year my daughter wanted to take some friends and visit. The setup is pretty simple. Just book your hour online (walk-ins are available, but I recommend reserving ahead) and show up. There is a cafe to get yourself a latte or snack, or you can just pay your $10 and enjoy the kitties. The best part about the Kitty Beautiful is that most of the cats are adoptable. There is only one resident cat, Bongo, that isn't available for adoption. They've successfully facilitated the adoption of many, many kitties into their forever homes. So it's not just a fun place to visit, you can actually support the re-homing of cats in need through your support. That also means you never know who you're going to meet when you show up. There are new residents coming through regularly. I learned on our last visit that they are also about to start up their cat yoga and different game nights which sounds awesome. We were fairly excited to hear of a new cat cafe coming to town. The other one is quite far from downtown Orlando, in Clermont. So this one being in downtown, not too far from the Amway, and having off street parking was something to await in gleeful anticipation. They opened and I surprised a car full of teenagers with a visit. The idea and concept was a good one. The area inside is clean and without any smells. The prices for poorly made cafe drinks is where this spot lost track of the goal. The drinks were fairly high priced, watered down, and very small. I had planned on getting everyone snacks there, but after my iced latte was served in a regular sized coffee mug, warm on the bottom, cold watery ice on top, I decided that would be a No. Additionally, I'd say $10 an hour is quite high, per person, for a small amount of cats in such a large space. It was silent as the grave too. No background music of any kind. If they improve on their drink quality and add more cats for adoption, this place will be a win. read more

We adopted two lovely cats from here and enjoyed the atmosphere when we would visit. One of our cats was a senior and unfortunately passed away eight months later. We were devastated, but we know with teenage cats, anything can happen. I messaged The Kitty Beautiful and let them know what happened because I thought they would want to know. I also expressed our love for this cat and the pleasure she brought us. I never heard a word back, no "I'm sorry," nothing. I waited a few months and reached out again, thinking maybe this was an oversight. We had a table and chairs we were giving away. I thought they might be able to use them or might know someone who could. I messaged them and once again received no answer. This location is an adoption center that allows you to enjoy food and play with cats, or adopt one. My daughter has really expressed her interest in kitties we have three, and she is still obsessed. For her birthday we surprised her and brought her to this location. We were a little disappointed because we had planned on eating there and then playing with the cats. However they were not serving any food only drinks. I had called ahead to be sure but it was never mentioned. Since that's what makes they significant I think it should be posted in the site before payment. You have to make reservations online, and there is a fee of $10.65 per person plus tax and tip if you would like. Even though we didn't eat we spent 30mins there letting our daughter just play and enjoy all the cats. Of course she wanted all of them, but we did not adopt one on this day. Overall I think it's a cute concept. My girls really enjoyed themselves and we even got to experience an adoption. You can tell the owners really are passionate about what they do. Five stars for all the kitties in partnership with Pet Alliance! The only other cat Cafe in the area is all the way in Clermont. As an animal lover who can't currently own animals, married to another animal lover, this place made a great component for date day. The staff was super friendly and they had snacks (cheap but not the best, I don't think they make most of these on site, or at least what we got but that's ok!, The focus here is all the adorable kitties!). The thing that impressed me most is how incredibly clean it is. I have pretty bad cat allergies and despite being surrounded by cats, I did not sneeze once. They keep everything super clean and the cats are pretty clearly well taken care of and each has their own personalities. They assist with the adoption process as well and seem to be a good home to help free up shelter space and make sure the cats are socialized and played with. This a great lounging place to chill and hang around with cats. I'm glad they finally open in Downtown. I know there are a lot of challenges with the area and parking. As I came to their soft opening, they had ten cats. They were able serve some items such as their craft sodas and kombucha. The owner made an awesome NY Egg cream. This venue picked us very spacious. Some games, open spaces, sofas and cats. If you want to come for a read or a nice drink, they time so far per hour. I hope they can do movie nights. They do have cat yoga (great space for it). While there is no food, hope they can sell some snacks. I know food will be hard due to building requirements. Overall, it was an awesome experience.
