I really loved the nice big bar! What a gem to find such a nice bar right downtown Farmington. I only had a Bubble Smoothie, which was delicious! That is something I never had before, as I usually get a milk based Bubble Tea. Since I had eaten recently that was the only reason I didn't eat. I was stopping by at a friends request. The food looked and smelled very good and the owners are very nice and welcoming. This is great location and especially one to hit after or before shopping. It's conveniently close to Fresh Thyme, TJ Max, and other shops. If I lived in that area I would definitely make that bar one of my spots. A box of poly bags and the usual bucket are already on the table. Nice that they give you the box of poly. Other places tend to be stingy and only give you a set at a time. They are thin and rip easily, especially with sharp ends of the crab. Clearly states no refund on any food or drinks. Pick wisely. Carly is waiting on us today, she let us know that she's new here. The blue crab is $14/lb, they don't have any Dungeness crab today. I decided to make my own get your hands dirty with king crab legs and blue crab with corn only and extra broccoli ($3) on the side. We also ordered the hibachi chicken with veggies only. The Cajun sauce was tasty, they definitely use butter for their Cajun sauce. The blue crab was really hard for me to crack open. I ended up cutting through some 6-8 pairs of gloves with the king crab as it is. The sharp claws from the king crab was impossible not to cut into the poly. The king crab meat had plenty of big chunks of meat for me. The blue crab was dry and shredded into bits. The body of the blue crab had a tiny bit more meat, but it still wasn't worth the $14, my time or effort for the less than 1/2 ounce of meat in each full body. I threw in the towel after finishing the king crab legs. My hands and fingers were sufficiently cut up from the king crabs. They were worth the effort for the amount of meat in the legs. I would have told them to remove the blue crab, but I am well aware there's no refund at all. I didn't eat anything but 1/2 of a one before realizing it wasn't worth the effort. They do charge for club soda here, $2.50 a glass. I quite felt obliged to finish my club soda despite being stuffed to the gills. Once we had our food, once to drop off our bull, we didn't see Carly again for a while. The king crab was good. They definitely need to slice the legs completely down the middle to make it easier to eat and not cut up the hands so much. The blue crab was not worth a penny, let alone the additional $14. It's dry and hard and barely edible. Little to no meat. Skip it. read more

Great addition to downtown Farmington! They do "seafood in a bag" concept + some hibachi (not at the table). Liquor license! They offer individual by the pound options with limited add-ons (sausage, corn, potatoes) and a nice variety of combinations. Each comes with corn and potatoes (many of these types of places charge extra). We tried both (see pics). The combination was huge but $$ - a nice way to try a variety! Seasoning options are garlic butter, lemon pepper and Cajun (Krazy Bomb is all mixed); spice level ranges from none to spicy. Medium gives your throat a tickle. Our food was delicious! First of all the shrimp bag and a sausage bag are very small. The sausage bag only had six pieces of sausage in it. Nothing was marinated and the shrimp was bland the eggs overcooked you don't even get two potatoes you get one potato cut in half you get to small corns, which is one that is cut in half. My go to order is the 1 lb shrimp w/ no head and 1 lb snow crab boil with the Krazy bomb flavor and medium spice. The spices and heat level is so addicting, especially with the seafood , potatoes and corn. Since Covid I've tried to get carry out once a month to support when I can. Ended up only being able to eat the snow crab which was stringy and overcooked but at least edible. Veggies were good, can't complain on their flavor but paying 89$ for two potato's and one cob of corn and some snow crab is nuts because the crawfish and shrimp is inedible. Eating here I would compare to playing the lottery. High risk- low reward. They don't do refunds, even if you don't finish the food at all. The owner only gave us a 4.80$ discount. I've gotten better service from Coney Islands in downtown Detroit. I can't even mention the calamari imagine fish sticks with a slight squid flavor. They were literally shaped like fish sticks. From the street it doesn't look very impressive, but the decor is just gorgeous, including a long bar. I didn't even know they served alcohol. Place is a little gem. It's been around in Downtown Farmington for a while now, but this was our first go. Cool ambience. Nice bar. Their offerings are Asian seafood to East Coast seafood. I like both. We tread lightly on the food offerings on our first visits to a place. 2 of us split chicken, shrimp, and vegetables, with fried rice and a side of noodles. It was plenty of food and pretty darn tasty. The price points on their offerings range from low to fairly pricey and all points between. Ours seemed a great value. Got started with a coupla' touristy drinks which were reasonable, if a bit light on the pours. Ate our meal with the very reasonable hot house sake. We will be back sooner than later. read more

I have never been so disappointed in a place that I USED to love! A few weeks ago, I took my family here after a long day doing yard work. I was so excited to get my shrimp and crab leg boil but when it came, the spices were a little on the hot side (they totally over did it with pepper) and I could not eat it. I tried a piece of corn first and then a crab leg but just couldn't eat it. I sent it back after explaining the situation. Much to my surprise my new order came up much quicker than the first order. I opened the bag to start eating and the first thing that I pulled out was the PIECE OF CORN that I had already eaten!!! I was disgusted and about lost my cookies right at the table. My family was also disgusted. I went into the restaurant to talk to them and everyone acted like they couldn't speak English even though our waitress spoke English while at our table. They offered to make me another boil but I refused because I was already sick to my stomach from how they handles the remake. So to me it seems like they just took everything out of the bag, rinsed it off and put it all back in and served it to me again! How gross is that. I had to ask for our bill to be adjusted because the only thing they wanted to do is give me another bag. No way! Our entire bill should have been taken care of but nope, I had to beg just to have my nasty meal taken off. I used to love this place but I don't any longer. Between the way they handled my remake to the way they pretended not to know English and the way I had to beg to get my meal deducted, I will never step foot in this place again and I will tell every person I know about it. The crab were super small and the sausage were gross. Even asking for an additional egg seemed to be difficult. The only thing yummy were the lemon pepper wings. All Kraft crabs aren't equal. The server will bring you the water out once. Your glass will be forever empty until you flag them down to refill your glass. It will remain empty even the ice will be completely melted. The seafood boil was VERY BLAND. The sushi did not taste fresh. But here is the kicker, my husband's chicken wings tasted extremely freezer burned. We only took a few bites. He told the waitress. She then told the manager. They did NOT offer to remake them. They did NOT take them off of our bill either. My husband does not like to fuss or complain. So he went on and paid. He just agreed that we will never go back. I felt bad for him because he left the restaurant hungry. If you're looking for southern style seafood--you've found your place. As a seafood connoisseur, this is hands down the best and freshest seafood you can find in the Midwest. I've personally spoken with the owner who uses authentic seasoning and spices to craft their delectable entrees. For amateurs, I'd suggest sticking with mild but for the dare devils, word on the street is even their medium gets the average joe in tears.
