    Truffle Garlic Fries

Phenomenal food, absolutely recommend dining here if you're looking for a spot in the packing district! The wagyu smash burger was incredible, definitely would get that again! They also have tons of yummy sides and fries. We tried the garlic fries and the Mac and cheese, both were delicious!! Tons of spots to eat in the building as well as outdoor space.

My brother and I decided to go here after wandering around and I can say that this place is good! I had the wagyu smash burger and it's pretty decent! The burger itself is a bit dry but the cheese and sauce balance it out. The cheese does get a bit overwhelming at times but other than that it's pretty good! The size of the burger too is big in my opinion (I don't usually eat very much) but the burger is definitely good to split between 2 people! The parking area is kind of ok but hard to find parking even on a Friday around noon. Overall: would go here if the wait isn't too long!

I came here with my parents on a Saturday around 12:30pm. It was kind of loud, so I had a hard time hearing. Thankfully, they take your name and number, then text you when your order is ready. My dad got the BBQ Ranch Smash Fries. My mom got the Grilled Cheese. I got the Beef Melt. Fortunately for my dad, we agreed that the fries were the best. Unfortunately for my dad, we insisted on sharing. One word of advice... check out the "Texas" donut at the nearby Randy's Donuts! It's hilariously big!

The Kroft, located at The Packing District, was one of the most exciting restaurants to be at, especially during the holidays, as it was just festive and fun filled during the holidays! This restaurant fit perfectly into the ambiance of The Packing District, which features a modern, cozy atmosphere and offers many different menu options. I ordered the smash burger which did not let me down. The smash burger that I ordered was extremely juicy, flavorful, and was cooked to perfection. The smash burger that I ordered also included a nice caramelized crust, which provides a smash burger additional flavor. I paired my smash burger with their gravy smothered fries, topped with fried chicken. Their gravy smothered fries were excellent because they were very crispy prior to being smothered in gravy, and the fried chicken on top of the gravy provided an additional crunchy texture and seasonings to each bite of the fries and to the gravy. The combination of the gravy smothered fries and fried chicken made for a rich and deliciously flavored dish that could have easily been its own holiday treat. Inside the Kroft there was very little seating. However, despite the large crowds and long wait lines during the holidays, the Kroft staff were friendly and helpful! Getting a table and having a chance to enjoy their food while experiencing the great vibe of the Packing District was relatively simple and enjoyable. My experience at the Kroft was both satisfying and fun and has already got me thinking about returning to the Kroft when I go to the Anaheim Packing District again, where I will definitely order another smash burger!

Etched in the packing district with dozens of food options to choose from, one of my favorite options to choose from for food that always satisfies whatever mood I'm in is The Kroft. Small seating area (to be expected it's the packing district), the menu is plentiful and the workers are helpful, especially with a lot of items I've never tried before. Got the loco moco and the classic fries, and my goodness I could eat 10 boxes of each. Fries are cooked well, nothing dry of any sorts and the additions to each stand out in their own respective ways. Didn't have to wait too long either, and every time I think about the packing district I think of the kroft. Try the poutine, it's great

My son was arriving at LGB aka Long Beach Airport and so after picking him up we went to LBX Hangar to see what interests my taste buds when I walk around the food court. So I saw their rotisserie cooking up the pork belly Porchetta and so I went with the Porchetta sandwich. Some cheese curds with garlic Mayo and a French onion smash burger. The service was ok, at least there were no mistakes. The burger and sandwich were good. The Porchetta on ciabatta was a bit oily, but very tasty. I would actually try some of their other sandwiches. The smash burger was also very tasty but it was a bit salty, maybe from the Parmesan cheese crisp. Let's see what I go with next time.

Decently priced food , nice size portions, food took a good bit to come out but the double Wagyu burger and garlic fries were both hot and tasted great. Service to order was quick , small eating area or you can take it and sit elsewhere.

In Packing district. Walked in and looked at photos on wall. The Smashburger caught my eye. So I ordered the combo but thru my phone. It was my first time using the app. I ordered but it was a bit confusing. I went up as my text arrived that my Combo Smashburger was ready. As I got my food I looked around to find a place to sit as you know this place is always packed and stuffy down stairs. I went upstairs got a spot only to remember I didn't get my drink so I went back and I asked the girl in pick up she said she couldn't give it to me I had to go to the line again. Really for a drink I already paid for and I even showed her the receipt attached. So I had to wait again for a while just to get to the front and ask she said oh yeah the online is specific when you order and if it didn't have anything then we don't serve it. It was a loss of time it's just a cup of a drink paid for the first girl should have helped. Ugh Only to try to get the spot back and of course it was taken. So the burgers sauce was messy. I felt the Double patty advertised is s super thin one that doesn't even make one normal size. I felt that it was.more brioche bun and sauce than anything. The fries were good they were super soft tho. Not sure bc of the wait time for a drink or if they toss them in too much liquid(sauce) for garlic fries. Overall I won't be ordering from them again. On to trying something new there

    Wagyu Smash Fries

Saw some videos online about people stopping by this place in the packing district. Ended up dropping by for the wagyu fries. Easy ordering and plenty of seats. Their fries can take a little time to cook probably because of the burger. Was tasty and a nice snack. It was also super filling. There's so many options around but this place stood out and it was a nice cute environment to sit and eat at.

I rarely go to the Anaheim Packing House but every time I do, I get food from The Kroft, and it's always a poutine. You cannot go wrong with the poutine. Service is standard; I received my order in 10 minutes. There's plenty of general seating all around the Packing House, so you don't need to sit directly at the food stand. I usually get the country fried chicken poutine. It comes with sausage gravy, cheese curds, chicken nuggets, bacon, and green onions. The last time I got this, the chicken was very dry, almost overcooked, but this time it was piping hot and the right amount of crisp. Personally, I think there needs to be more gravy and more fries. It is a little pricey though. If you are hungry, I would recommend getting a burger or sandwich with a side of fries.

My boy and I decided to head to the Anaheim Packing District for the last night if our SoCal trip. Plus, it was my very first time visiting! Since we couldn't decide on a restaurant, we went on to pick our own places to grab a bite from. The Kroft was bookmarked on my list but I couldn't remember what for. Then I looked at the menu and it hit me! The PB & J Wagyu Smashburger! I went on to place my order with the friendly staff. On top of ordering the burger I had to get a side of fries. Turn around time was decent due to the fact it was a Friday night and busy. I met with my boy at a table he found and I unpacked my order. The PB & J Wagyu Smashburger looked immaculate. I was hooked with the sweet and savory flavor, medium cooked patty, and fresh condiments. The fries were nice and crispy. But I'll most definitely need to be back to try their other menu offerings.

I met up with a friend at Packing House while visiting Anaheim. We walked around for a bit to browse the different food options available - since it was a weekday during the day, it wasn't busy and we were able to take our time. I ended up circling back to The Kroft because their sign caught my attention. French dip? Yes please! We ordered our food to-go and grabbed a table closer to the center of the Packing House, since The Kroft is tucked away downstairs and feels a bit darker being farther from the windows. I ordered just the sandwich with no sides, plus a drink, and it ended up being a good amount of food for me. The sandwich (and dip) itself was on the richer, heavier side, but was incredibly tasty and satisfying. I would definitely want to try to come back the next time I am in the area.

From the jump, my friends and I felt so welcome, all thanks to our man Jake, who so attentively took our order. This man was such a vibe and provided top-tier customer service in spite of being short staffed. He always had a smile on this face and handled everything so well, especially the 11pm rush that came shortly after we ordered. I can write so much more about him, but he honestly set the stage for what I think of the best dining establishments I've ever been to. Shoutout Jake! The food? No notes. It was tasty, scrumptious, divine, exquisite, all of the above. That food was made with love and care -- shoutout to the kitchen staff! I got the crispy chicken sandwich and woah, what a revelation! Eggplant on the sandwich? Such a game changer, like some next level stuff here honestly. My friend got a burger and oh my god, I only had one bite, but it was honest to god one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life. My other friends got chicken tenders. Tender doesn't just describe the chicken but also the souls who prepared and served this amazing platter. They honestly put every other chicken tender I've had to shame, I'm afraid I won't ever have another chicken tender without comparing it to YoYos. Sides were scrumptious and the sauces that came with them were so good too. I don't know how they did it, but the soft drinks had something special too. Nothing disappointed, I'm telling you! I wish I took more photos of the food but it was just so good that I didn't have time for that. I had such an emotional experience eating here, and I wasn't under the influence or anything -- it was just that good! I could preach to the choir and write a whole song (maybe album) about how amazing my experience was here. It was so magical, I nearly cried thinking about how lucky I was to eat here and break bread with friends. I live in west LA and I would honestly drive however long it takes, even in traffic, just to eat here again. It was simply that good. It's one of those places that you just can't gatekeep because I honestly think a visit here would heal so many traumas and bad days. This was the perfect end to a day with friends, and I will be coming back sometime soon. You will not regret coming here, I guarantee it! If you do, I just think you're lying for clout because I firmly believe this place could not disappoint anyone! P.S. just in case I didn't highlight Jake enough, I need everyone to know that he is the man! The experience would be nothing if it weren't for him. P.S. again: if I were on death row or another situation with a "last meal" type of arrangement, YoYos would need to be a part of that final meal so that I could die so happy and enlightened

My group and I ultimately decided to come and eat here for dinner and get the shakes for dessert. You order first at the cashier and then they give you a number on a stand so they know whose order is whose. They offer magic key discount here which saved me $3 total! Our food came out relatively quick. Food: Texan Burger (8.5/10): WOW! I absolutely loved this burger. Maybe I was really hungry but wow. I went on Yelp to see what the best burgers were based on the reviews and this ultimately showed up. At first, I didn't want it because of the BBQ sauce that came with the burger but you can substitute it! I subbed it out for their house sauce and it was delicious. Their house sauce is basically a thousand island sauce. The patty was juicy, and was a lot larger than the bun. I got it medium rare at first but then got scared it would be too bloody so I was able to change it to medium. The onion ring soaked up all the moisture from the sauce and lettuce so I wasn't able to get a crunch with each bite. The fries were honestly very delicious when it was hot and fresh but after a while, it was honestly very mediocre. I wish it came with a ranch pairing to dip it in or a side of their house sauce. It also comes with a side of a pickle cut in half vertically and ew. I usually love pickles but this literally tasted like a cucumber drenched in some acidic liquid. I wish it tasted better and thank god I tasted it before cutting it up and putting it with my burger. Cookies n Cream Shake (7/10): I love a good milkshake but this was sooooo heavy after a big burger and fries. It was more liquidy than I liked but there were a lot of chunks mixed into the milkshake. This one is DEFINITELY shareable. I got to try a sip of the brownie and funfetti one since 2 people in my group ordered it. The funfetti one is literally a vanilla shake with a ton of sprinkles in it (which is what funfetti is, I know). They only got this one because it was recommended by the people taking our order. The brownie one had chunks of brownie pieces mixed into it which was something different!

As for the food, the burgers were very greasy and left us feeling gross while we were still eating them. Unfortunately, both of us ended up with upset stomachs that lasted into the next day. The only positive was that the shakes were decent, but they weren't enough to make up for everything else. Based on our experience, we won't be returning.

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable. Plus I think you and your establishment are great and I wanted to detail that as well Kimberly.
