Thanks to his guidance, my ball striking and overall swing have improved dramatically, with my 7-iron carry increasing from 156 yards to 173 yards. I had my 30 minute swing analysis with Patrick and I dramatically improved my swing path, angle and corrected my draw and slices. The golf instructors here are very direct, easy to understand and quick to provide solutions and tips to improve your game. Erica at the front desk is friendly and passionate about golf. She knows the ins and out of the simulator equipment and super helpful to guide you through to have the best experience possible. They have huge comfy couches in the check in lobby area and also a putter to practice on with auto return of the ball. They have 5 bays here and you can do a membership to book your times. Customize your simulator experience to calculate distances, play mini games, compete locally or globally, play from courses around the world without having to travel or wait around. All the tech here is top of the line, no lag, no glitch or waiting. It loads fast and responsive. Lots of data being shown - angle of attack, club face, swing speed, ball speed and the list goes on. You can even do instant replays and so much more custom options. Lots of chairs for friends to watch and relax. There is a lot of natural light here so it makes it bright and airy but I would prefer using the bay's that are further away from the windows so the screen looks more vivid.

I recently finished about three years' worth of lessons with Paul, and it has been life-changing…read more Originally, I came to GolfTec because I really wanted to be able to see/replay my swing when I practice. Over the years I tried taking a few lessons here and there with different instructors with little to no success. Eventually my poor form combined with swinging as hard as I could (and also lifting weights in the gym) resulted in injuries to my elbow, shoulder, and back. What I really wanted to do was create an efficient, smooth swing that I can use for the rest of my life, as I had always imagined golfing in retirement. When I came for my evaluation, Eddie had me try a few things, and then he was brutally honest with me and said he probably shouldn't be my instructor (I was way too "armsy" which was not a good match for how he taught), so he referred me to Paul. It stung a little to hear that, but it turned out to be for the best. I told Paul that I was committed and would do whatever he said. Over the next few years he completely rebuilt my swing from the ground up. I think I spent most of my first year just working on my backswing. It was incredibly frustrating for me, but I stuck to it and you can see in the pictures how it has paid off. To avoid injuries, I probably swing about half as hard as I used to, but the ball still goes just as far, if not farther (plus straighter). GolfTec isn't cheap though, and I'll be the first to admit I would just keep taking lessons forever if I could afford it. This is definitely something I could not have afforded when I was much younger. But if this is something you can afford and nothing else has worked for you, I encourage you to try this. Another thing that has helped is I was able to pause my program once per package ("X number of lessons in Y weeks") whenever I was too injured to continue. As for any reports of rude instructors or poor customer service from coaches, I think I know who they were talking about. There was one coach there who wasn't very friendly whenever I interacted with him, and he seems more interested in practicing his own swing than helping customers. He's been gone for a few months though and was recently replaced by someone else. I've always found the other coaches to be super nice. Eddie's gone now. Ryan is the manager, I believe, and he's incredibly friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind that they can get really busy at times. If you walk in and need help and they're all busy teaching, just make sure they can see you standing there. They'll get to you before too long, but they're priority does need to be teaching a student that is paying for their time. Oh, and Paul has always been super responsive via email. While there are competitors who have bases similar, the technology here seems cutting edge and the large putting green that can be adjusted and has guidelines Make putting even more fun. In addition they have trainers and a large gym area to focus on exercises to improve and have Direct effect on your game. The grand opening was a success. There is a huge turnout and everybody got to try putting or using one of the bays. I look forward to returning and working on my game. And throughout the night, I didn't hear anyone yell fore lol.

However, my driver is an ongoing frustration. Even practicing,playing and trying You Tube videos nothing was fixing my push slice. I said WTH and decided to try Sam (local) for a lesson. Took my lesson with Sam on Tuesday and played round with friend on Thursday. Was nervous because I didn't have time to practice at range before and was going to try his advice on course....OMG, off first tee, hit solid contact straight on fairway. Not every shot and hole was perfect that day - bad habits are hard to change but I was making just better contact and had more confidence. Also gained extra club length from Sam showing me how to compress ball Looking forward to hitting the range and next round. Will be taking follow up lessons too

Alondra Park golf course is by far away my favorite golf course that I've played in the lower…read moresouthern Cal area. Its a 18 hole par 3 course my favorite part about it is that they move the holes on the green every couple weeks it seems. But it's a beautiful course the most bang for your buck and I feel like all the people that play here are super like chill like you're never being rushed or hurried up while on the course , which is a very big deal to me. This is my favorite course. I highly recommend going to check it out. You'll have a blast.

With better maintenance and more attention to course conditions, it could be a much better place to play. For a public course, the weekend tournament fee of $90 felt quite expensive for what was offered. The course conditions and overall experience did not really justify the price. It wasn't a bad round, but it also wasn't very memorable. Considering the cost, I expected more.
