This is a bitter sweet review to write as it has to do with the passing of my Mother. The…read morecaregiver and I were exhausted and getting on each others nerves. We both knew Mom would not last much longer. In desperation I called Serene Home Care and talked to Donna (the owner) and she immediately provided a wonderful caregiver who took excellent care of not only my Mom but also my Dad so that we could get some much needed sleep. She came for 12 hours and we were able to sleep and get refreshed. Mom died late the next day but we were still in need of someone to come and give our full time caregiver a weekend break since she was still taking care of Dad full time. Donna handled the whole situation with compassion and caring. When a worker was in an accident she filled their shifts herself and took marvelous care of Dad. When it came time for the memorial service Donna provided yet another caregiver, who was a delight, to help us with Dad who is wheelchair/bed bound. Serene Home Care was truly a Godsend for us in our time of need! I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs short term or long term loving, caring home care. He was agitated and fearful of anyone entering his room. When asked why they did not administer the comfort meds the Tech said she didn't think they had enough. Ridiculous just Ridiculous! He was there a mere 5 days then he died.

I'm always doing my research and every time I come in with a stack of questions for him to answer he knocks each and every one of them out of the park or gives me new information to work with. I never feel like I'm out of the loop as he's always informing me of what's going on and actively including me in my treatment. The receptionists are well informed and really accommodating. He offers a patient portal where you can message him, see the notes of your appointments and read your test results, which I've found extremely useful. I have to drive 40-50 minutes to see him, and I could definitely switch doctors, but It's worth it to continue receiving care here.

She trusted his judgement and felt secure in his care. Whenever I had a question about her care, I emailed him and he responded quickly, sometimes within an hour or two.When mom had to be put into memory care, he filled out the paperwork within 10 minutes when I walked in without notice. I had to jump through three months worth of insurance hoops and drop Kaiser, but Dr. Anders is now my doctor as well. Between the severe shortage of physicians and the insurance and government requirements doctors have to deal with, they shouldn't have to deal with our "traffic problems" as well. Traffic in this area is only going to get worse. Don't be on time. Be 20 minutes early and plan accordingly.
