We loved this place! Everyone was so nice, they even brought out blankets because we were sitting on the patio. Plus, they had a dog menu! It was a great experience, and we can't wait to go back!!

Ate the lobster but it it was all roll

Zero stars and the worst lobster roll in all Maine - the waitress was a fabulous young lady and it was her first day - she provided great service and was kind and pleasant - however the old maid manager with the short chopped hair was absolutely rude and angry as I was paying for my meal in full and tipped the waitress well, I said this was the worst lobster roll in all of Maine and the clam chowder should be renamed potato chowder - the manager cashier said ' no it wasn't we put 3.5 Oz of lobster in every roll". Ok, it's AWFUL however you make it You can't make this level of rudeness up folks STAY AWAY FROM THE LANDING - I ordered a cup of clam chowdah and a $24 Lobstah roll - the $7 chowdah arrived and was loaded with potato's and literally NO clams - the Lobstah roll was a huge hunk of bread and there were 3 small hunks of Lobstah in mayonnaise - see the photos - It was fresh but I was turned off that literally anywhere else in a 5 mile arduous you can have a Lobstah roll with triple the meat and less money I went 5 minutes down the road to the CLAW Lobstah shack and got a small roll for only $21 and it had 6.5 Oz of lonstah meat on the roll -

What a fantastic location for a meal! And the service is wonderful. We loved the cocktail menu and the food was amazing! Literally everything we ordered was fantastic! In particular the fish tacos were amazing!

We came up from Boston and we stayed at the trade inn . We conveniently found the landings restaurant right around the corner. And let me tell you the food there was phenomenal. Our waitress Liz was super sweet and very attentive. I had the shrimp fettuccine with arugula topping and my friend had the chicken Alfredo pasta . And for dessert a blueberry bread pudding so yummy . We enjoyed everything Thank for your hospitality and great food.

This place was recommended, so we swung by in the mid-afternoon for a late lunch. Pretty decent meal and we lucked up with a view of the harbor. We ordered the haddock sandwich, fish and chips plate, and the haddock chowder. My husband described his fish and chips as being a little soggy but tasted good. Not the best he had. My friend really did enjoy the haddock sandwich. Had no complaints with that. My son and I had the haddock chowder. My first experience with haddock chowder and it was really tasty. A little watery but tasty. Service on the other hand was not the best. Granted they didn't have that many people in the kitchen working. We waited an hour for food and my husband politely inquired about the wait. He was told by the hostess " there's just two guys back there working their asses off". Then it gets better. Our waitress comes to our table and informs us that she was told to come speak to us about the wait She was very abrupt and raspy the whole time we were there. Will I come back?.... probably not unless there's no other place to eat in Rockland.

It has been some time since we had been here, tried it today and loved it! New ownership for the last 3 years, so completely different from what i remember. We were here in a sunny April Saturday, so pretty quiet as the summer crowds have not hit the midcoast. There were some great tapas style apps, so my wife and i shared a few very unique and delicious dishes, starting with the cheese tray, the.going to a pork shank dish, lovely ricotta "pillows," and then a pork pate, wow! Not a huge menu, given it is April in Rockland, but unique and very tasty! We will be back!

Love the food and the ambience! Ashley was such a delight!! We gave us suggestions on our trip to Maine and we really enjoyed her company!

Wonderful casual lunch spot. Beautiful harbor view from the shaded deck out back. Perfect spot for a lobster ______ and a beer/glass of wine. I came to this restaurant straight from maiden cliff (a somewhat strenuous hike straight uphill) and I didn't feel out of place or under dressed. The place has a very casual relaxed atmosphere. Lots of locals just hanging out.

Nice service, food was bland, out of whole lobster during lobster fest, clams was not cleaned, none of the food was seasoned.

To start with, this is the same Dry Dock restaurant I reviewed in 2023 - sort of! It is actually…read morethe same owners but in a larger space. We learned of it from locals and decided to give it a try. It was a bit rocky of a start, someone didn't really know that we were there, but when we asked we had service recovery that was off the charts. We had a very nice Chardonnay. and because of our initial wait we received the cajun shrimp appetizer that was absolutely incredible and served with homemade chipotle cocktail sauce - so good and perfect with the wine. I then followed that with an order of chicken wings that came with buffalo sauce and blue cheese, Wayne had the fettuccine Alfredo that was also excellent. Although no longer within the blues festival grounds, we will totally add it to next year's plan!

Unfortunately this place was average (or below average) for the cost…read more Came here to get lobster bisque due to a glowing review from another Yelper. I asked for it extra hot. Ordered the fried haddock sandwich too. Soup arrived with steam (before the spoons to eat it came) but the soup was actually not that hot when we tasted it. We had to wait for spoons. The bowl of lobster bisque was $34, which was a conscious decision for us to order - because that's expensive. (A cup is$20.) The lobster bisque had no flavor. The salt, pepper and lemon we added ourselves helped but for $34, it should be amazing. It cooled off super quickly and was room temperature within 3 minutes and in 8 minutes or so, cold. Which means it wasn't truly heated through and through to start. We regret ordering it. The fried haddock sandwich had zero flavor. None. Not salt, not pepper. The fries and Heinz ketchup had the most flavor of anything on our table. When the sandwich came we asked for another plate (we were sharing it), which never came. At one point, the waitress came over and asked how everything was. I replied, "Eh, alright." She said "Okay!" and walked away. Disappointing since, budget-wise, we are eating out one meal a day of this trip and that was the experience (and lack of flavor) we had. $66 including tip. Such a waste. Sorry to say....but skip this place.
