What a fun bar! We had a great time closing out our evening at The Lark Bar, which was right across the street from our hotel. I only ordered wine, but some friends I was with ordered some tasty looking cocktails. They had a good variety of spirits and options to choose from, as well as wine and beer. TVs are here to watch games, and it's an elevated sports bar vibe. Bartenders were helpful and friendly. Definitely a fun time!

The new lark, the old Lark... no matter what Lark I'm hanging out at, it's always a blast. I've only been to their previous location, which is technically in the same building, just on the other side. Their new location has a lot more space and a fresher look, but they kept that divey vibe I've come to love. They do have way more windows which I also appreciate. A fully loaded bar with local beers, tasty wines, and a damn good dirty martini. They've definitely stepped up their cocktail game, but don't expect anything too fancy. A great place to start or end your night. Now if only they sold their Lark hoodies online.

Quaint little bar. Close to the convention center and union square. Seems like a good spot for post-work drinks/Happy Hour. Bartender was friendly. The Old Fashioned I had was above average. I had 2 and unfortunately varied in taste a bit (1 was a bit sweeter than the other and the other was definitely more bitter than most).

My friend and I stumbled upon this small bar and decided to grab a drink. I ordered the Paloma slushy which was refreshing and citrusy. They have lots of fun decoration with a bunch of different art on the wall. The staff were super friendly and even provided us water even after we were done with our drinks.

LOVED our dip into the Lark Bar! Super selection of beer and liquor. Gorgeous interior. Only recommendation is they should recalibrate the two top tables- they wobble like a mofo yo! Ha! Our beer spilled! Great access to Cali beers when you are traveling- that's just what I needed. Thanks much for a fun night!!

Weak drinks, small pours, apathetic bartenders. Shitty area of SF, and super crowded on a Monday. Def won't be back.

Do you still have outdoor seating?

    Yep!

What street is the entrance on? Market, Stevenson, Annie? I just read that it is not on 3rd street anymore.

Market Street. If you are coming from the old Lark, you’ll pass the new Cask and it’s right after that.

We booked the dining reservation and checked all the fine print. Luckily, I finally found a review saying that their children were turned away at the door before we actually left for our reservation. What a disappointment! Seems like it would be really easy to just write 21+ when you go to make a reservation if you don't want to answer the phone!

If you're a Harry Potter fan, this spot is a must. The food was fresh and delicious, but let's talk about Nate the bartender, super cool, kind and welcoming. He really brings great energy to the space. Definitely try the Love Potion, it's a standout. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Frankly, the guy was so awful and idiotic (a certain R word comes to mind but I can't use it to describe someone) that I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Some of the employees are on some lame power kick and while they could ALL make more money if they were civil, they are more intent on bullying new customers than on providing good service. I cannot imagine why the owner thinks this is a good business plan unless they have brain damage. About the worst customer service I've had in my entire 53 years.

There's also some outside patio seating in the front. - My wife and I split a flight of beer, which they provide in three 6 ounce pours. We especially liked their Hazy IPA, but the Oktoberfest was very good too. The bartender said their Kolsch is a bit of a classic, and we liked it too, but it wasn't a stand out to us. I later got a 10 ounce pour of their IPA and felt like that was the best of all. The best part is that you couldn't go wrong with any of the beers. - We got chips and guacamole from the taco truck guy located inside next to the bar...You pay by cash, and we got a big container of chips and a humongous couple of scoops of guac for $9. From the outside, The Beer Hall almost blended into its surroundings - I almost walked right by if it hadn't been for the neon "The Beer Hall" sign. The taproom is quite spacious and could accommodate several large groups; however, the night of our visit was relatively quiet, perhaps due to the cold weather. Since there weren't any large tables, our group spread out over three smaller tables. As people came and went throughout the evening, it was convenient that we could each order our own beer and food at the bar. I selected an IPA from Fieldwork, a local favorite, and the beer stayed cold and refreshing throughout the evening. The food menu was limited, but I was craving something warm and salty to pair with my beer. For nearly $10, the fries weren't cheap, but the plate was piled high with some of the best fries I've had in a while. They were served piping-hot alongside two dipping sauces - aioli and ketchup. My friends sitting around me couldn't resist them either, and the mountain of fries disappeared in record time. The servers at the bar were very friendly and checked in on our group often. We spent a few hours enjoying our conversation and beer, overall having a fun, laid-back evening.
