I had my first lash extension done by a trainee named Erica with the supervision of Deborah yesterday morning. I had C curls done on me which had a doll effect. I was told I had long lashes but many gaps. My experience was very pleasant and relaxing! Deborah and Erica are very personable and so sweet. Deborah is so kind, service oriented and generous with her time and experience. She gave me a weighted blanket and played relaxing music. I felt taken care of and I really like how my lashes look afterwards. I found out that the long lashes weighed down on my Mariel lashes so my vision was obstructed from the top lid, however I will wait a few days to curl them so I can see better it is no ones' fault really so I might get shorter lashes next time! She operates smoothly & effectively, my lashes really DON'T look like extensions, it lasts a while longer due to the type of lashes she uses, and what's more, she doesn't remove the old lashes by yanking them out [which can ruin your natural lashes over time!]. Thank God I found Deborah who explained my natural lashes had become so thin because of extensions that were too long and too thick. This adds too much weight to the natural lash and pulls them out prematurely. They either don't grow back, or if they do they are much thinner. I had no idea this could (permanently) damage my lashes! Now- after only a few months of going to Deborah my natural lashes are getting thicker and fuller (back to normal). The first time I used Lash Fairy was for a red carpet event for my film screening and now I get Deborah to do my lashes regularly, she is amazing and it is soooo much better than using Mascara every day. I love Deborah! Super sweet and an incredibly knowledgeable lash technician- educated on what works and doesn't work, types of products to use, dos and don'ts to prep for lash application, etc. I have gone to her a few times now and my lashes are beautiful and have been lasting me 4+ weeks between touchups. I have had other lashes put on and they get glue too close to my skin where it irritates me, results in excess glue spots and looks fake. She is the exact opposite! She makes you feel at ease, great conversationalist, gentle, extremely informative and makes lashes full yet natural looking. I have actually noticed lots of lash growth (UNLIKE the previous place I went), since going to her and not using mascara anymore. She informed me that mascara is extremely damaging to lashes and I didn't believe it until I saw it myself with my own lashes. She is very responsive if I ever have questions. I got lashes filled today by Debra. I called her yesterday and made an appointment and she quoted me the price of $50 for a refill. Once she started she started filling my lashes she requoted me a price of $75. Then I reminded she told me $50 for a refill. Once she was 30mins in she took the tape off and said "this is $50 dollars worth of lashes". They weren't full at all. She asked if I wanted $60 worth of lashes. I said yes because I wasn't satisfied. After about 10 minutes later she removed the tape and said "this is $60 worth of lashes". They still aren't full. She was friendly but I'm not satisfied I drive across town and paid more than I expected. read more

I was introduced to Deborah Sharpe through a mutual friend, as I had complimented her on her beautiful lashes. I told her how lucky she was to have such long lashes. She informed me, with a laugh, that they were the best that money could buy. I honestly thought they were her own, they look so natural and not like I have seen on some women, where you can obviously tell they are fake. So I went to see Deb, as my lashes though prolific are meh! and I didn't like the idea of putting any chemical product on them to encourage them to grow. I arrived at Debs place and she was so friendly I felt very at ease right away. She offered me water, and wanted to know what music I'd like to listen to. She told me about her background, how she applies the lashes in a certain way, and that she only will attach lashes that will not be took long that they will affect my natural lashes. She was very meticulous in applying the lashes. When she handed me a mirror, so I could see what she had been doing, I was astonished. They looked fantastic and glamorous, but not over the top, just as I'd asked her. I have been to her twice now, and going back again. Her rates are really competitive, and great value considering how long my lashes lasted. She gives you an information sheet to help you with after care, which was great to have. Her location is easy to get to, there is street parking in the neighborhood, and she also has an extra garage space if parking is tricky. I'm very happy with this Lash Fairy! I am giving 4 stars to the Lash Fairy for her amazing customer service and her integrity as a business woman. I got my lashes done after my concerns that I didn't have enough lashes for the extensions to make a huge difference was addressed. Deborah did the best she could for what she had to work with and the application took 2 hrs! I didn't like the results and Deborah offered to remove them for a full refund. I'm sure this was an exception but it was really important to Deborah that I was happy! I am now applying Latisse on my lashes and know that if you want a full set to look good like in the pictures, you have to have full lashes and the lash extensions can make it look longer but it won't make it fuller. read more

Deborah is the definitive lash master. I love that her extensions last 6-8 weeks(!) this is because the brand she uses (Xtreme Lashes) is very high quality... combined with her application technique; both make her extensions outlast all the others. She also takes extra steps and gives you special a sheet with instructions to make your extensions last. Not only did I get well-applied very natural looking lashes from Deborah, I got an education about Lash health. Deb's main concern is preserving your natural lashes and multiplying their growth ...she cautions that very long (or fat) extensions can cause permanent Lash loss over time. (yikes) She informed me that conservative length/thickness extensions (provided each one is fan dried after placement) are actually healthier for lashes than mascara because mascara is heavier than an extension in the lash. The weight of mascara "plucks" out the lash prematurely which causes thinning (like what brow plucking does over time). Apparently lashes are very delicate. Mascara makes lashes stick together...this she says also causes lash loss. I'm an RN... I've been putting off getting lash extensions because I didn't trust who might be doing them, but Deborah used to be a PA in cardiac surgery ....this gave me the peace of mind I needed; I know how meticulous she has been trained to be. read more
