Toured back in March, and we were allotted a full hour with the business manager Jamie, who is very genuine, down to earth, and a former educator. We feel very welcome here. The staff work well together and treat our toddler like family. We toured places for months and this was the best long-term fit for our family. I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my family's experience. My daughter attended this daycare for less than a month, and within the first two weeks she was crying every morning and begging not to go back. This was completely out of character for her. Before attending this daycare, she had been at another preschool for about a year and a half, where she loved going to school, enjoyed her teachers, and made friends easily. She's always been a sweet, social child. After starting here, we noticed a significant change in her behavior. She became withdrawn, upset, and repeatedly told us she didn't want to go back because she felt scared. We also noticed that many of the photos we received showed her by herself rather than participating with the other children, which raised concerns for us. As parents, seeing such a drastic change in our daughter in such a short amount of time was alarming. We ultimately decided to withdraw her because we no longer felt comfortable with her remaining there. Every family's experience may be different, but based on what we personally observed and experienced, this daycare was not the right fit for our daughter. read more

My child completed the VPK program recently at TLE Apollo. The only disappointment was the graduation! it was horrible no seats for parents, in a tiny room at an apartment building. I was highly disappointed and didn't know why it wasn't better prepared? read more

My granddaughter has been at The Learning Experience Apollo Beach for the past two years, and we couldn't be happier with her experience. The teachers are amazing--so caring, patient, and really know how to bring out the best in each child. Over the past couple of years, we've watched her grow in so many ways--she's more confident, socially engaged, and curious about learning than ever before. The managers are wonderful too, always approachable and making sure the center runs smoothly. The cost is higher than some other options, but it's worth every penny when you see how much she's blossomed emotionally, socially, and academically. We feel so lucky to have found a place where she's truly thriving! read more

Very disappointed with the management of this daycare. My son was enrolled for only 6 days before we had to pick him up the first day he bit another child. He is 17 months old and, as frustrating as it is and a habit we have worked very hard to kick, it is developmentally normal at this age. He was at his previous daycare (before we moved) for 7 months, not once having an issue. The more I think about it, the more it seems like there is not enough supervision of the little ones to prevent this from happening. I also told the staff during our tour he had 4 molars coming in and was biting occasionally and they said they would work with him. The first day it happened, we picked him up and he was asked to stay home the next day. The director promised that upon his return, she would be with him the whole day. While home, we worked on sign language and different ways for him to express himself and held up our end of our discussion. Well, the next day he returned, we got a call by 10 a.m. saying he needed to be picked up. If she was with him, watching him, why would there be an incident at all? Another issue was during our tour we were told he would be in one classroom with toddlers who were more active like him. They ended up putting him in the younger classroom and switching him back and forth between both, which provided no stability for him. After having to pick him up two times during the workday, we decided to pull him out since it seemed like they were trying to build a case against a 17-month-old who otherwise is a great kid. We were told we were going to get a refund since we paid for a whole month and only attended 7 days total, however I had to call the center five times to get a check sent weeks after leaving (which I still have not received and am pretty sure we were shorted). I reviewed this daycare with my daughter. The program was very impressive. There are 2 big downsizes. First would be no disinfectant at the door before entering and exiting the daycare. This is a must and should be must for adults and children. You must sign in and you must disinfect! The other is need more care takers. Just because the state only requires X amount of caretakers per age doesn't mean you couldn't do better. Lastly, the infants should not be held at the front desk to cradle. This places each child in risk for the nasty viruses, bacteria ECT. If these suggestions were in acted I would give a 5 review. My old daycare took every childs temperature at sign in. read more

My son attended The Learning Experience for about six months, and unfortunately, it was just as disappointing as our experience with KinderCare. They advertise an impressive curriculum, but in reality, very little learning actually takes place. At four years old, my son still didn't know fundamental concepts like ABCs, counting, or basic science topics that should be taught at this age. The staff seemed more focused on keeping kids busy than truly educating them. Despite paying a significant amount of money each month, there was no noticeable improvement in my son's development. The promise of teaching other languages was also unfulfilled. I've since decided to homeschool my son, and he's thriving, learning far more than he ever did at The Learning Experience or the other combined. I wouldn't recommend this daycare to any parent who is serious about their child's education. If you want your kid to solely just have fun and not learn anything then this is the place for your child. read more

1 day and 2 hours are all they gave my son. We told him he was energetic and had defiance problems but they assured us they could handle him with all of there "experience". Just so happens one of his previous teachers from a different daycare was in his class. The first sign of difficulty and I'm sure she encouraged them to kick him out. If they think this is what's best for a 4 year old boy, casting him out without a chance, I wouldn't trust them with your child if I were you. read more
