This is such a fun bar concept! It's a lot of assorted rooms with different DJ's and lots of bars all over so it was always easy to get a drink! Service was fast and much cheaper than your average bar! We just got well drinks so I'm not sure how fancy they get if you're looking for a cocktail? But the vibes were cool and the tree that runs through the middle added a lot of character! They also had a full live band on the main stage downstairs not sure if that was a coincidence or if they do that every night but I was impressed!! It only lost a star for me because the bathrooms were pretty sketchy lol. They did have a small kitchen but we didn't try any food this time

Fantastic food! Especially for going much later and as an out of town guest I had assumed it would be just bar dive food. But pleasantly surprised. I took two stars off because the service was not good and the times we did see our server she was overworked and rather rude. The other star came off because some of our party came in one door and the rest came in another. Both groups were charged different amounts as a door fee. One paid 5 per person and the other paid 10 per person. We didn't know until later so it was to late to correct but

I got to take a picture with the front man for the band.

Tiny place, with a tiny dance floor. But a super fun and happy vibe. Everyone dances! They bring in popular bands from the region. The line is down the street before they open at 4 o'clock, and often times the tables are all taken by 4:15. Otherwise you need to stand. So get there by 4 o'clock. I was surprised to find the food options are healthy, and generous. My group had a GREAT time.

Situated near Westport and the Plaza, the Levee draws in a mix of crowds from both areas. My first time coming here, it was hard to find (it has a parking lot in the back, but the exterior does look sketchy and the signage isn't that noticeable). They have a downstairs and upstairs level patio. Inside there is a first floor space for a small dimly lot music venue/ another room with a bar and seating (which was closed off when I went). In the upstairs section there is a bar and really small kitchen. The drinks on tap were average drafts, nothing really stood out. The food itself wasn't that spectacular; the burger patty was dry ( was cut in half and stacked on top of each other ?) and the tots were just okay. Overall it just reminded me of a college campus bar that serves food. I can imagine it being crowded when school is back in session and all the college kids are looking for some cheap drinks.

Checked out the levee for brunch this morning. We showed up right when they opened and headed to the upstairs bar. We ordered drinks, a michelada and another beer, gin, grapefruit cocktail. Both were refreshing and light. I was so hungry and everything looked delicious, so I asked the bartender what she recommended, and ended up ordering the levee Benedict. I am glad she recommended it, because I wouldn't have ordered it otherwise. It was delish- think of it as a grilled cheese, topped with a poached egg and tomato soup. We also got the brunch burger, which was also good. Honestly, my expectations weren't that high, and the Levee exceeded them, by far!

Great live music. Early band attracts older friendly crowd. The later band would skew much younger. The foods good.

They have a nice selection of cocktail and wine specials along with shareable bites, pizzas, oysters, sliders, and other small plates, which makes it a great place to stop in for drinks and something light without necessarily committing to a full dinner. The interior is beautiful and has a polished, upscale feel without being stuffy. Once you're upstairs, there's a cool crowd, great energy, and some really beautiful views of the city. The outdoor patio is another highlight and a great place to sit when the weather cooperates. The staff was wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The weirdest part is actually getting there. The entrance is through the lobby of an office building, and then you take the elevator up to the 16th floor. It feels a little odd the first time because you're wondering if you're even in the right place, but once the elevator doors open upstairs, it makes sense. Great drinks, beautiful space, good crowd, attentive service, and one of the nicer rooftop experiences in Kansas City. I'd definitely go back.

Her first reaction when it arrived was that maybe she should have ordered something else but after digging in was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the sauce and how it complimented the salmon and veggies. I ordered the fish and chips. Of my meal I enjoyed the fries, not so much the fish. As I was eating it, I tried to think of how best to describe the taste in this review but wondering if it were bland with the expectation that you'd want vinegar. I just can't put my finger on it. I will say it was plentiful as I only finished one of the two pieces of fish that came with the meal. I myself, will definitely try something different if we were to go back. I gave this review a 3 partly because of my meal but also the overall experience. When I walked in, other patrons looked at me as if I'd walked into the wrong place which made for an odd feeling. But once my other guests arrived we decided to stay because we wanted to try the food. Crazy how a glance or two can make you rethink your lunch plans.

It's located in a cool area in the middle of the plaza right underneath Chiefs Fit gym. As soon as you enter you get a feel for the great ambiance and fun variety of music. We came in during a cold snowy day and took full advantage of the FREE coat check at the front desk. On the first floor there's a mini golf course as well as a full bar and seating area. Once you go downstairs though, you'll see just how massive the place is. Theres TONS of seating and cool little nooks to hangout in which make it great for a date night or corporate events. Once you get into the mini golf there's some great courses to check out. Each one has a different theme and they make it super simple to track your points. Simply enter the names of all your players on the touch screen at the first hole, then enter the number of strokes afterwards. After that it will follow you throughout the course until you're finished and tell you who wins at the end! There's also a place to sit your drinks at the start of each hole with a menu of course specific cocktails that I highly recommend trying. Every part of this place is perfect to take pictures and have a great time. But in my opinion, the true highlight of the Puttery is the food. I had the pleasure of meeting the head chef while here and he truly puts his heart into the menu. Our server Mariah was also super helpful giving us drink and food recommendations throughout our time here. Everything sounded amazing but I had to go with the Cajun Chicken Philly since I'm a sucker for a Philly sandwich. It was one of my favorite sandwiches I've ever had. From the soft delicious bread to the unbelievably juicy and tender chicken, this was such a great dish. The combination of ingredients and the plating itself made it clear that nothing comes as an afterthought here. I also tried the loaded fries which were a great recent addition to the menu. Last, we finished it off by trying the Tiramisu, Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and the Bourbon Bread Pudding. Each one was really amazing but my favorite was the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and I'm not even a huge cheesecake fan! I definitely plan to come back here just for the food because it was so delicious!! And on top of that, they recently started a meal prep service which I plan to take full advantage of! Overall you can tell that every detail is thought through at the Puttery. It truly feels like a luxury experience with an element of fun to round it out. The service is amazing and the food and drinks are to die for. If you're ever looking for a fun date night, a group outing, or even just a place for a solo dinner or drinks, you have to check this place out!

Their craft cocktail menu and decadent chocolate dessert also rounded out the meal nicely. Taking off one star because parking around the Country Club Plaza can be quite hectic during peak weekend evenings, and the dining room gets fairly loud once the rush sets in, which slowed down the pacing of our entrees slightly.
