Gorgeous location , excellent service. Food was just okay compared to the other components. Drinks were fantastic . Google Maps makes it hard to find the building but we found it eventually!

Came in for a bite before dinner after exploring downtown. This restaurant is located on tbe 16th floor. The journey to the restaurant can be confusing your first visit since the first floor of the building looks like a hotel lobby and is a shared place. There is a hostess at the first floor who checks reservations and wait times. We came without reservation, but there was no wait time and we were directed to the elevators. Upon reaching the 16th floor, you're greeted by another hostess who guided us to our table. The interior is well-decorated and moody with dark lighting and candle-light. We got a spot which overlooked the city skyline at night. Would be a great place for drinks, but we weren't feeling it that day. Ordered the truffle fries and the triple threat sushi. The fries came with mayo and ketchup, and they were fresh and flavorful with a crunch. The triple threat sushi was also good, the fish was fresh. Was a good stop for us to rest and get refueled before heading to our Airbnb. It looked like there were larger groups celebrating there and sharing appetizers and plates, and a good amount of people grabbing drinks at the bar or even dining alone. If the weather was warmer, we would have opted for the terrace seating overlooking the city.

I've came here a few times now mostly for special occasions like birthdays and date night. It's an amazing spot to come and have a few drinks with friends! The food is great, but you really come for the views of KCMO and the cocktails. The fries are a MUST have. The service is always fast and friendly! I love coming here and look forward to my next visit!

Prime Social stays in my rotation because it never misses. Stunning KC views, great cocktails, and a chic atmosphere makes it perfect for drinks or celebrations. Immaculate vibes and one of my favorite rooftops in Kansas City. Nikola has provided consistent hospitality over the years.

We took our son out to Prime Social for his 20th birthday, and it was a fantastic spot to celebrate! This rooftop gem on the Country Club Plaza has such a youthful, energetic vibe--perfect for a milestone like this. Our server was excellent--super friendly, attentive, and even recommended a beautiful and delicious cocktail that paired perfectly with our dinner. We went all out and sampled a ton from the menu: fried lobster tail, pepperoni pizza, spicy tuna roll, salmon roll, wagyu Nagiri, oysters with caviar, and wagyu sliders. Most of the food was absolutely delicious! The sushi rolls stood out with their unique flavors and beautiful presentation--what a nice surprise. Our absolute favorites were the wagyu nagiri (melt-in-your-mouth incredible) and the oysters with caviar. The wagyu sliders were also a hit. That said, the fried lobster tail was a bit of a letdown--chewy and lacking the flavor punch that everything else delivered. The atmosphere is lively and fun, but heads up: it gets very loud. We were at one of those tiny cocktail tables and basically had to yell across it to chat, which made conversation a challenge during dinner. On the bright side, we scored an amazing seat with a stunning view of the Plaza. Watching the sunset while eating was magical and made the whole experience feel extra special for a birthday. Overall, great food (with just a couple minor misses), awesome vibes, top-notch service, and that unbeatable rooftop setting. I'd definitely recommend Prime Social and we'd go back in a heartbeat--maybe just bring earplugs if you're planning to talk a lot! 4 stars.

Came here for Valentines Day 2026. Reservations were a week out. We arrived and were promptly escorted to a one stop elevator that stopped at this 16th floor restaurant. We sat on a high top facing the window. Ordered a truffle pizza, truffle fries and the famous A5 Wagyu stick $21. For drink we had the Pineapple Express. The pizza was mosdef the best truffle mushroom pizza we ever had. All together $100 tip included. It was just very noisy and we had to talk very loud. We will be back when it's not so busy and quieter we hope.

Loved the rooftop scenery. The music really helps the ambiance. The food was so good a bit pricey reminds me of tapas. Overall, service was great and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. Try the moscato it's amazing!

Second visit came a little earlier and tried a few different things from the first visit The potato pizza was a four out of five I thought it would have more bacon than it had the food was great I just thought it would have a higher quantity of the toppings the chicken slider was a four out of five I know that it's a slider the images make it look larger than what it is but the phone was nice and soft it was flavorful the chicken was nice and moist it does have a little kick but it was really good wish it was larger for the price the beef slider was also a 4 out of five nice and tender good flavor the bun was nice and soft it also had good flavor just a little smile for the price overall I would give this visit a four out of five I'll definitely be coming back again in the future to try different flavor a pizza and some of the other appetizers great atmosphere great staff I'll be back

I had little to no expectations coming here other than I hoped for good Hamachi, which was a 9 of 10. I wish I had not given up my reservations by the window to sit at the bar because the views look amazing! I cannot over state the chill, awesome vibes at this place. This is definitely a place to come with friends or a fabulous date. The bartenders were quick, professional, interesting and informative. The drinks were very well-made and I will be back because they were out of the AVO martini and I want to try it. It comes with potato chips and caviar. Yes you heard that right. I basically got all of the raw bar items and they were all fabulous. I lived in Hawaii for three years so I can be a picky B*# i'm gonna come back to try the lobster roll and maybe the PS roll or fried lobster tail. Did I mention I just graduated from wine school and their wine list is fabulous?! Affordable interesting choices from France, which are hard to get honestly anywhere in the country. They have a lot of security, including a police officer by the front door that kind of freaked me out, but I guess that might be normal in Kansas City? It's my first night here ever!! A+ fun!! I'm glad I heard about this place from @TravisKelce ‍ Oh!! I'm in town on a celebration trip after beating breast cancer last month and the bartender told me they literally had the entire restaurant bathed in pink vibes for breast cancer awareness last month. Thank you.

Great experience! Great drinks! So happy they had an extended mocktail menu! We had reservations and showed up about an hour early and they were able to seat us right away! To clear up - we have tried to come a couple times and they were always too busy so we made reservations hoping that would be a good time and just ended up there early! This is fun restaurant towards the top of a skyscraper with amazing views & vibes! We didn't try any of the food, but everything that came out looked delicious!

We made a reservation here for my SIL's bachelorette and the staff was super friendly and attentive! They even surprised her with a desert saying congratulations! It's classy yet still casual enough for drinks after work and we absolutely would come again! They truly made her day! The drinks were good, the espresso martini could have been a tad sweeter but was still good and the presentation with their dishes was spot on! As they say "the camera eats first" and it did haha - would 100% come again! The prices are a little high but they do offer a happy hour so check it out!

This place? Absolutely unhinged in the best way. Loved it. But heads up: it gets packed faster than a TikTok pop-up shop, so if you're showing up with your crew and no reservation, enjoy fighting for your life like it's a Hunger Games sequel. The rooftop is pure magic -- crisp spring air, fire pit blazing, cocktails flowing, and just enough chaos in the background to make you feel alive without fearing for your safety. The service? Lightning fast. Drinks and food hit the table before I could even finish gossiping about people three tables over. Ordered the black Manhattan (pro tip: pay the extra $3 to get it smoked). Was it dramatic? Absolutely. Did I feel like a movie villain plotting someone's downfall? Also yes. Zero complaints. Food-wise: the chilled shrimp, chicken sliders, and pepperoni pizza absolutely slapped. Like, the kind of food that makes you order "just one more round" until you're suddenly best friends with the table next to you and strongly considering matching tattoos. If chaos had a five-star rating, this place would own it. Already planning my reckless return.

Would you recommend this place for a 71st birthday and do they serve it great ribeye?

I guess that depends on how many you have in the party. It is a trendy bar and can be a bit loud. The drinks and appetizers are phenomenal. I don't see ribeye on the menu.

Is it better to reserve high top or standard seating? I want to make sure we have a good view. Thanks!

You have a great view with a high-top and if you have more than 2 people I would recommend standard seating.

    Are Kid's welcomed?

Yes, prime social will serve all ages and have fun mocktails the kids could enjoy.

    What is high top seating?

There are tables near the bar where you sit on tall stools.

The Puttery completely blew me away!!…read more This place had been on my list to try out for a long time and I wish I'd gone sooner. It's located in a cool area in the middle of the plaza right underneath Chiefs Fit gym. As soon as you enter you get a feel for the great ambiance and fun variety of music. We came in during a cold snowy day and took full advantage of the FREE coat check at the front desk. On the first floor there's a mini golf course as well as a full bar and seating area. Once you go downstairs though, you'll see just how massive the place is. Theres TONS of seating and cool little nooks to hangout in which make it great for a date night or corporate events. Once you get into the mini golf there's some great courses to check out. Each one has a different theme and they make it super simple to track your points. Simply enter the names of all your players on the touch screen at the first hole, then enter the number of strokes afterwards. After that it will follow you throughout the course until you're finished and tell you who wins at the end! There's also a place to sit your drinks at the start of each hole with a menu of course specific cocktails that I highly recommend trying. Every part of this place is perfect to take pictures and have a great time. But in my opinion, the true highlight of the Puttery is the food. I had the pleasure of meeting the head chef while here and he truly puts his heart into the menu. Our server Mariah was also super helpful giving us drink and food recommendations throughout our time here. Everything sounded amazing but I had to go with the Cajun Chicken Philly since I'm a sucker for a Philly sandwich. It was one of my favorite sandwiches I've ever had. From the soft delicious bread to the unbelievably juicy and tender chicken, this was such a great dish. The combination of ingredients and the plating itself made it clear that nothing comes as an afterthought here. I also tried the loaded fries which were a great recent addition to the menu. Last, we finished it off by trying the Tiramisu, Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and the Bourbon Bread Pudding. Each one was really amazing but my favorite was the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and I'm not even a huge cheesecake fan! I definitely plan to come back here just for the food because it was so delicious!! And on top of that, they recently started a meal prep service which I plan to take full advantage of! Overall you can tell that every detail is thought through at the Puttery. It truly feels like a luxury experience with an element of fun to round it out. The service is amazing and the food and drinks are to die for. If you're ever looking for a fun date night, a group outing, or even just a place for a solo dinner or drinks, you have to check this place out!

Nestled inside the ultra-luxurious Raphael Hotel, this upscale Restaurant/jazz club had our group feeling like we were heading to a high-society adult prom. The ambiance practically demands a raised eyebrow and a sophisticated toast. Naturally, the libations were flowing. On one end of the table sat a chocolate martini so decadent it looked borderline sinful. On the polar opposite end of the spectrum, I ordered an extra-dirty Chopin martini, complete with blue-cheese-stuffed olives. Look, it didn't reinvent the wheel, but it was executed exactly the way I'd make it at home--assuming I could ever actually find a bottle of Chopin in any of our local liquor establishments. (Seriously, who is hoarding it?) We kicked things off with the gourmet bread basket. Do yourself a favor and cough up the extra $5 for the super soft bread and whipped butter; your tastebuds will thank you for not being cheap. For my starter, I opted for the she-crab soup, which presented itself as a spectacularly rich crab bisque. Word on the street is that she-crab Is vastly superior to he-crab. This is a PG-rated review, so I shall leave the mechanics to your imagination. Then came the piece de résistance: the 12-ounce ribeye, flanked by asparagus spears and Delmonico potatoes. This sucker was thick. When I asked our waitress for a proper steak knife, she politely pointed to my standard-issue butter knife and confidently declared, "That's it!" I thought she was joking. She wasn't. Melt-in-your-mouth is an understatement; this medium-rare masterpiece yielded to a butter knife like it was soft brie. The sides were equally stellar. The Delmonico potatoes were a beautifully elevated, elite version of scalloped potatoes, and the asparagus was snappy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The evening's only tragic misstep was the cheesecake. It, too, was incredibly thick--but in all the wrong ways. While fortunately not overbaked, the texture resembled a very well-flavored, highly gourmet paste. To add insult to injury, the graham cracker crust had completely surrendered its structural integrity, offering none of the classic crunch I crave. Minor dessert tragedy aside, it was a phenomenal evening. The service was impeccable, the vibe was unmatched, and that steak alone warrants a return visit. Next time, I'll just be exploring a different corner of the dessert menu.
