Dinner for 2. - Ambiance (4*) Things have changed a lot since our first visit 12 years ago. It feels a lot less upscale and much more casual. - Service (2*) Two servers came by trying to take our order. The second server came back around another time to "make sure" we had our order taken. The cauliflower came out blazing fast (even before the drink arrived). Then there was a long wait before mains arrived. At the end, the waitress gave me the wrong bill (always check before you pay!) - Cauliflower, $20 (5*) Cooked perfectly. Carrot puree was to die for. Great flavors. Nice spice kick. - Burger, $27 (3*) Asked for medium- it was well done. The burger itself got a bit soggy. - Fries, $12 (5*) Slight crisp, good seasoning. Nice sauce. - Value (2*) The burger comes on its own with no sides. So, when you think about it, it's a $39 burger with fries. That's pretty high. - Final Word Used to love this place, but there feels like a little lack of care now. I would also note that the 4 course prix fixe pricing seems a bit out of whack if the chef is simply picking things off the menu. Unless they included a full portion of the steak, you might not get to $97 adding 4 things up.

Closed at 8:30pm when website said 9pm and bar until 10pm. Tried to get in and all doors were locked.

I was able to walk right up to the bar, was greeted right away by the bartenders. Ordered their old fashioned and the burrata. Food was excellent, drink was nice. I liked the atmosphere of the place, nice for a date.

This place has gone downhill! Party of party of 4 reservation and the restaurant had maybe 3-4 other diners, Our services was mid at best. The server was really not good! She took one persons drink order at our table and left then took another 20 min to bring the cocktail and we said we'd also like to order some drinks (she was definitely preoccupied and wasn't into it) then took our drink order then went to help the other table. We ordered the appetizer which was pretty good and the entree were descent but not as good as before as this place must have a different owner. We were dissatisfied with our service and after the entree came we ate and the server just brought the check. We waited for another 15 min to let her know we wanted to see the desert menu but was that a mistake as the desert were very mid. I would not recommend this spot as it's really gone down hill from the menu to service.

I came back to this place after a very long time. I was disappointed. The food was good. The ambiance was great. The servers were nice, buts it's not the same from the very first time I came. It seems like there is no longer a great chef at this location. And the Asian fusion that it once had is gone. The tequila drink they had, is experimental and just not good. (Sorry) The waygu burger comes with no fries--you have to order it as a side--a burger with no fries, it's a shame to call it a burger. The duck dish was good. It was like a lasagna. Appetizers--hmm nothing really appetizing A charcuterie board--with pepperoncinis, tiny pickles, cheese, bread, the jam/honey, spread, the hams. It was okay, nothing impressive about it. I think I'd change it to include some sort of fruit, chocolate, or nuts. This place is great if all you want is tiny plates of random things and drink. They have a full bar and they can make whatever you'd like. I was very happy with the service however. Tiffany our server is pleasant and quick. Loved her! Although, I don't think I'd come back, I'd recommend it to you if you want to sit, chat, and sip outside, because inside is for reservations only.

Lexington House feels like the kind of place that understands conversation. It's small, refined, and quietly inviting. The music sits in the background where it should--present, but never competing. The space naturally encourages slow, light, and intimate connection, whether you're on a date, catching up with a friend, or simply enjoying your own company. It has the energy of a local favorite rather than a trendy hotspot. The staff is friendly, the room feels relaxed, and there's no sense of being rushed. It's the kind of environment that makes lingering feel appropriate. The food is comforting and solid. Not showy, not experimental--just well-done and satisfying. A small practical note: reservations are usually recommended, and while the bar is open seating, you can reserve there as well. This is the kind of place for quieter connection--whether to yourself or with others. And that's exactly its strength.

The Lexington House is one of those rare spots where big surprises come in small, cozy packages. The vibe is effortlessly cool -- a modern bar with that classic Los Gatos charm -- and the menu delivers across the board. We came during their Halloween-themed cocktail menu, and it was such a creative twist! Each drink was inspired by iconic horror villains, and the cocktails were as clever as they were delicious -- beautifully balanced and high quality. The food menu focuses on shareable small plates, which is perfect if you like to sample and mix flavors. We ordered the nectarine crostini (light, airy, and refreshing), a cauliflower dish that changes seasonally, and both the duck ragu and clam pasta. Every dish was packed with flavor and presentation-ready. It's the kind of place that feels both elevated and approachable -- ideal for date night, cocktails with friends, or just a spontaneous evening out. Definitely worth adding to your Los Gatos dining list.

Went for Mother's Day brunch. It was a disaster. They obviously were not prepared to serve the brunch. I think they said it was the chefs first day? We sat down at 11:15. I was served at 12:15 and my husband at 12:40 and my son and 12:50. Mine was cold so they reheated( tiny French toast) my husband's was good. My son's eggs Benedict was hard boiled. While waiting they offered us a free cocktail to apologize. They finally offered to comp the entire meal. The waitress was very apologetic. The manager looked stressed but should have come to the tables. It wasn't worth the two hour wait- even for free. We left the waitress a tip though. It wasn't her fault

Made reservations to celebrate a friend's birthday. We arrived early and they were able to seat us right away inside. Service was quick and friendly, even though there was a large party taking up most of the dining room. We never felt ignored. Our server took the time to explain each dish as it was brought out, which we appreciate because there were a lot of interesting combinations of flavors and ingredients! The green bean dish with the popped sorghum was unexpected but so good! Cocktails were tasty, balanced, and creative. We will definitely be back to try out their other seasonal options.

Just had one of the best dining experiences at Lexington House in Los Gatos. From start to finish, this place delivers. Let's start with the food -- The crostini and hamachi crudo? Unreal. Both were flavor-packed, balanced, and made you crave another bite the second you finished the last. The crostini especially -- a total standout. The fruit and cheese combo was something I never would've imagined, and yet it worked like magic. Legit my new all-time favorite small plate. Then came the squid ink pasta, and it was a perfect closer. Rich, savory, and filling without being heavy -- it hit just right after the lighter (but perfectly portioned) appetizers. Ambience? On point. Dimmer lighting created a cooler, intimate vibe -- a big plus with how hot Los Gatos can get. Whether you're looking for a spot to impress on a date night or just passing through town hungry, this place is a must. The service here is inviting, the head chef had came to the table to bring us the plates which isn't something you get every time you go out to eat, him asking how his meal was made meant a lot to me, nobody likes a critique but in his case it was all praise since the food he had made was pure art. Highly recommend. 10/10.

Cute spot in downtown Los Gatos! My party of 7 came by for post-dinner drinks Saturday night around 8:30. I loved the ambiance here, especially outdoors, with all the lights. We were seated outdoors, so I can't speak to the inside, but I'm sure it's nice as well. They offer a good selection of cocktails. I got the White Lotus ($17), which is composed of coconut rum, Oaxaca rum, vermouth, and lime, and has pandan "caviar". It was a nice light drink that wasn't too sweet, and the pandan caviar at the bottom was interesting. Because we were here for a bachelorette celebration, our server Ashley was super nice and offered to bring us some desserts on the house to munch on. We tried all three: Buttermilk and corn panna cotta - good panna cotta but I definitely didn't taste any corn. Also we all found it overly sweet Mangoes and cream - my favorite of the desserts as I love mangoes. Also the mango wasn't super sweet so I appreciated that as both the other desserts were super sweet Ice cream for bears "Chocturnal" ice cream - solid ice cream, though I'm not sure where the olive oil came in? Also found this on the sweeter side My friends and I had a great time chatting over drinks and dessert at Lexington House. I'm so glad we decided to come here for a night cap!

Yes they are dog friendly. I bring my mini poodle mix there before. As long as your dog is well trained, well behaved, and don't sit on chair. It's welcomed here.

And of course, we always order the caviar because... why not? The vibe here is everything. Whether it's girls' night, date night, or a celebration, there's always an amazing crowd. The DJ knows exactly how to read the room and keeps everyone singing along/ dancing with banger after banger. Grilled Pork Chop: bourbon marinated grilled peach compote, peach, red onion & tomato salad (4/5). The presentation was gorgeous. A Sous vide pork chop with grill marks cooked to a medium temperature. Savory and complemented with the tangy, spicy, and tart salad. A tad heavy handed on the salt for the sauce, otherwise, it was still delicious. Gnocchi Ragu: lamb bolognese, pecorino (4/5). The meat sauce was delicious. The gnocchi itself was sizeable and decent. Fries (4/5) - medium shoe string cut fries that were hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. So fresh and right out of the deep fryer. Parkside Bread Pudding: vanilla gelato, pecan praline (4/5). This was delicious. Therese was told by the kitchen staff that they unfortunately ran out of the pecan praline when she brought it out. Though, it was still decadent and divine. Therese even brought us a complimentary beignets for a birthday celebration. We will be back! Every item I've tried has been delicious. The ingredients are always fresh, creative, and full of flavor. The cocktails are a huge plus (smooth, well-balanced, and a work of art!), the service is excellent, and the ambience is beautiful. Love the warm Middle Eastern vibe (makes me feel like I'm getting a glimpse of the culture). Definitely going back and want to try their brunch next! Pictures are some of the drinks and apps we had on my second visit.

Cool how it's located right next to Los Gatos Soda Works so we could just grab drinks next door after dinner. Design and ambiance was a nice blend of indoor and outdoor with plenty of seating. Lighting's immaculate outside with the soft natural sun coaxing around the redwood tree. Food's decent, not outstanding. Website says they're the same owners of Tamra, a restaurant that closed down a few years ago in Sunnyvale which we both coincidentally tried as well. The menu is actually pretty reminiscent of it. We ordered the pomegranate braised lamb shank, the confit duck pastilla, the date chermoula kufta, the Mediterranean trio, and a few cocktails. The unilateral thing that was missing from all dishes was spice. Maybe intentional, but the palate leaned into sweet and savory. The kufta was better than expected -- beefy, tender, flavorful, and great with the sweet & zesty sauces. The pastilla was the standout with fun flaky texture of the pastry and the nice warm shredded duck. The duck was seasoned well and was reminiscent of pork. The beet spread was fresh and light, the hummus was plain, the labneh was too loose imo - just tasted like Greek yogurt out of the container. Giving credit where it's due, the lamb shank was better than it was at Tamra. However, the flavors and textures all just kind of melded together so it lacked depth and interest. Had the familiarity of a basic beef stew. Onto service. Abysmal. It wasn't busy. Nobody there to greet at the door, wait staff just wandering aimlessly around, food's drop and go, took quite a while to get someone to take our order and receive our check. In a word, very transactional. If this was a pho restaurant or dim sum place, I'd be more lax about it but the service sure doesn't fit the market positioning of where this restaurant wants to be in. 3.5 overall for food. It's safe, uninspired, but very much decent. Gotta round down for the service.

All the drinks pair well with the wide range of food options on their extensive menu. There's plenty of seating both indoors and outside, plus several TVs throughout for watching sports. I ordered the Hop Holistics, a fresh, fruity Hazy IPA with a low 5.6% ABV, making it easy to enjoy more than one. I also tried the Alpha Dog West Coast IPA, which has a higher ABV and was another tasty choice, especially with my burger. I went with the smashburger and fries, and it was fantastic. Packed with flavor from the Memphis‑style BBQ sauce, avocado, and pickled red onions on a brioche bun. We were sharing it, and they even split it onto two plates for us -- a small touch we really appreciated. Only complaint was the bartender was NOT friendly at all. We felt like we were making him work. Definitely need to get someone that wants to work and not that guy! Despite this, we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu and enjoy another brew.

We were driving to Santa Cruz on Memorial Day and it was such jam packed crazy peak traffic taking hours to move a mile, we decided to detour and take exit to Los Gatos. Now I've been to this cute rich neighbourhood city couple of times and enjoyed a lot. We parked at nearby garage. It was so damn now so loved the outdoor seating concept with play area for kids. My son loved running around here! Beer flight was decent, I didn't like any of the 4 beers given. We had pesto chicken sandwiche. It was not warm and tasted very normal Fried were cold and not seasoned well too. But it's great for outdoor seating and chilling with friends and family Self service , but good and drinks were super quick to arrive.

The music was really loud and I couldn't hear the conversation of the person with me so the Asian bartender helped us turn down the music a little. It wasn't until mid evening that I realized there was another bar in the back. The bartender told us the cocktails at Alter Ego were more fancy. Definitely instagramworthy! Tried two of the cocktails at Alter Ego. Overall, both have different vibes. Alter Ego is good for a more intimate dark setting date vibe. Service was pretty good at Still OG! The Asian bartender checked in several times and was really nice as well as provided some recommendations on which happy hour specials were most popular which helps since I'm indecisive. The back does seem like a more classy environment and I'd choose this setting over a dive bar any day. The music at still OG that they were playing at the time wasn't my cup of tea, but I'm sure they mix it up from time to time. I would love to hear some oldies!

The front was pretty full so we checked out Alter Ego first, but they were also full with nothing available until 11pm, so Still OG it was. You grab a spot yourself and then order at the bar. All cocktails are on tap, which actually ended up being great because I was between a few of them and the bartender was able to give me samples of them. We also ended up getting an order of the Chicken skewers, which were super tender and juicy. We were too late on our visit, but they do have a daily happy hour that includes some of the skewers and fries, as well as some drinks and shots. Service was super friendly and vibes and music were great! Cocktails, weren't the best since they were on tap, but still good enough! I would absolutely come back here for a drink and snack though!
