    Shrimp Alfredo

Food was delicious, shrimp pasta was delicious. Pick up was super easy, and the employees were helpful. Inside the establishment was nice and comfortable!!

This was my first time actually ordering online and picking up food from The Licking. My friends and coworkers have ordered food and I wanted to find out for myself if the items/ food were as great as they describe. The cashier was excellent as she seemed to handle the short line of customers waiting to order. The atmosphere and lighting inside the restaurant was cozy and inviting . I couldn't wait to make it home to enjoy my food; shrimp, macaroni and cheese, and broccoli . I also ordered shrimp and fries for my teenage son.

I guess I expected more being that it's Dj Khaled's spot & it's definitely overhyped. The food was a little bland, we had to ask the host for salt and pepper to add to fried broccoli and conch. Definitely need to start seasoning like our ancestors in the kitchen with us, we need more flavor and spice. Collard greens weren't that great. Wings were fire. Candied Yams were the best! Fried conch was too chewy and bland. Fried broccoli was a first for me and wasn't bad, just needed salt and pepper to flavor it up. Mystery drink was super sweet but good. I will try again to try other things and the other locations.

The food is yum, I've only went to the location in person once and it was seriously packed and me and my friends were waiting FOREVER, other than that it's great. The reviews about the pasta are correct. I've ordered it about 3 times and each time it tasted completely different. It's a big serving so when i microwaved it the next night the noodles were swimming in oil, like literally i wish i had a picture. Here are 2 pictures of the same pasta, they looked different and tasted completely different as well. The wings are also so super gud but this restaurant is super inconsistent

The Food : 1.Conch sampler - Way to gummy ,but nice flavor. 2. Chicken wings sampler -12 wings - Just ok . The fingalicken sauce was good . 3. Mac and cheese appetizer - good. 4. Mystery Lemonade Drink - very good . Total: $32.00 Overall : We decided to come here after looking at the reviews. And most were right the service is ok and the staff definitely need to smile and show they at least enjoy their job ,because if you love your job your quality of work/food shows . We weren't totally amazed by the food and the expensive price for the quality given. Work on quality, even if we had a small amount if the quality was good we definitely would pay extra .We definitely will come back to try the other dishes and give it another shot ,they may have had an off day .

Food was great. Extremely saucy just how I like it! Giving 3 stars as I'm still upset they overcharge when ordering online so I only go here if I order in person or a simple tray like chicken Alfredo. If you order a meal online that requires you to pick your sides, you will be charged additional for each side that's already included in the base price. Ridiculousness!

I have had the Fried Conch dish TWICE from here and it's INSANE. When it's time to eat junk food, it's hard to say no to coming to The Licking. Oh, and bro... BRO... the yams are ridiculous. Listen this isn't a safe place to visit if you just did a round of cardio, make sure you hit the weights first as you need to be in severe carb deficit for this to even make sense. Now if you don't workout at all, then I guess by all means do what you gotta do! Either way, I would highly suggest the Fried Conch. Now since I've had that twice, the next amazing pick up I'll be getting from here will be the fried shrimp & wings with more of those yams!

Super sweet and nice ! Best cashier Jimlynn was so sweet she deserves a Raise!$$&

Ordered the chicken tenders and fries. The chicken was dry, the breading was falling off the chicken and the fries tasted like cement mix.

The seasoning was buttery, garlicky, and had just the right kick. My husband went with 1 lb of sausage, fries, and white rice, and he was all in. I picked up my order, and the process was quick and easy. The staff was friendly, and everything was packed up perfectly--still hot and fresh when I got home. If you're craving a solid seafood boil, this is the spot. Definitely coming back for more!

There were some customers there, but the place still felt very empty and honestly a bit boring. It was very quiet. There was music playing, but we could hardly hear it. The TVs were on, but with no sound, which didn't help the atmosphere. We were seated in the booth area where the other guests were. They had a 2-for-1 drink special, and the waitress was friendly and helpful. She let us know we didn't have to order the same drinks for the deal, which was nice. I ordered a passion fruit margarita, but it didn't taste like passion fruit at all. More tart than sweet. I didn't love the flavor, but I will say the bartender was definitely not stingy with the liquor. My friend ordered a Bahama Mama and had no complaints. I'm not a big seafood person, but I do love wings, and that's where Crafty Crab won me over. I ordered the 10 piece sweet chili wings, all flats, for $10.99, which alone is enough to bring me back. The wings were hot, fresh, and flavorful. My friends also enjoyed their lemon pepper wings and drinks. We originally came because we heard they used to have karaoke on Thursdays, which would have been perfect for the size of the venue. When I asked the waitress about it, she said she didn't know why they stopped. That's unfortunate because this place has so much potential. It's a large venue with good wings and cheap drinks, they're really just missing a vibe. Even playing music through the speakers would make a huge difference. Overall, I'd return for the wings and drink specials, but I hope they bring some energy back to the space. Based on this experience l'd give it a 3.5

Whether you live nearby or not, I would say that it is worth coming to Burtons Grill. I've been…read morehere twice and left with a happy belly full of delicious sensibly made food. Both visits were for birthdays---the first was mine, when I happened to mention to our server that we were celebrating my birthday and she helped make the experience great. She then exclaimed, "You should have told me it was your birthday! We'll give you a dessert. Would you like to take it home?" Which I did, and the Seven Layer Chocolate Cake was thoroughly enjoyed for breakfast on two different days. I still can't get over the fudge layers in the sponge sandwiched by a light, creamy chocolate mousse. The plated cake was much cuter and better dressed with surrounding raspberry sauce instead of it being in a takeout cup, but the divine tastes of that cake are unchanged. Seeing that the majority of their locations are in the north, with the southernmost locations before Florida being Virginia and South Carolina, I feel lucky that we have a location in South Florida (and a second in Boca Raton). The hostesses are friendly, as well as the servers, and each one asks about allergies in the party. I saw on their website that they have a commitment to accommodating food allergies and a protocol for communicating allergies to the staff and kitchen. The most recent visit started with us repeating allergies to our server after telling our hostess, as he wasn't informed of them. It never hurts to confirm that everyone is on the same page but it was a little odd. I'm not sure what those purple allergy cards are supposed to do if they're not written on. However, like I mentioned, they are really serious about food allergies. When we were placing orders, our server would tell us whether there were allergens in the dishes we mentioned. Our server during my first visit even went back to the kitchen to check whether there were eggs in a sauce that were in one of the dishes we were interested in, without being asked. The inside is clean, beautiful and well lit, and the bar is spacious with plenty of screens if you're able to make it in for their happy hour at the bar from 3-6 PM on Mondays-Fridays. We had the guacamole and chips ($9), which had a surprisingly generous portion of genuine guacamole to the point where we ate all of the white and blue tortilla chips that came with it. I asked our bartender if we could get more chips by any chance, and another bartender heard and went straight to the kitchen and came out with a bowl of warmed tortilla chips. I had an Old Fashioned, which was slightly sweeter than I'm used to, but still having great citrus aromas. I recommend having a cocktail on happy hour as they are typically $15-17 on the regular menu while they are $10 during happy hour. For dinner during my second visit, we were seated in a lounge appearing area to the left of the entrance with long couches for the booth seats and an unfinished cut of wood table. Let me tell you about the food before I run out of space! Bread service: I know it's weird to have to pay for bread, but that's the restaurant world we live in. It's worth the $5 to get warm, fluffy bread dressed with everything seasoning and coming with herbed butter, pesto and an olive tapenade, all a choose-your-own-bread-adventure sampler. You can tell nothing on the plate came out of a jar. Philly cheesesteak rolls: Everyone can eat all 3 of the rolls that come in this dish along with the crispy onion rings that come on top of them. Resist the urge and share the tender beef and gooey cheese inside of these rolls. NY strip: Tender, well grilled and seasoned, accompanied by tasty green beans and mashed potatoes made with just the right amount of butter where you taste more potato than butter or cream. Crab crusted haddock: A generous portion of flaky, slightly buttery haddock with an aromatic crab cake on top. We loved the jasmine rice that came with it, from the degree of cooked to a little oil covering. Lobster roll: It was a summer limited item until August 31, and I'm sorry to say it was perfectly buttered, toasted and brimming with plump lobster meat. You were able to get it cold with a cole slaw, but a hot roll is definitely the move. Did I convince you to go try their food? If not, read this again. I'll see you there.

I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent.
