The food was good to me, Wifey said it could used a little more seasoning on the Mac and cheese. My calamari was fried good. But I like mine fried hard. I was expecting the line to be extremely long from what I heard from others but thankfully it wasn't. They do only allow a certain amount of people inside at a time. They have security standing outside at this location, not sure if it's that way at all locations. The snapper was well seasoned, the collards were just okay- taste like they may come from the fan and not cooked fresh, and the yams were super sweet. The service was slow and they messed up another part of my order but the manager fixed it instantly for us. I ordered the mystery drink which is supposed to have liquor in it but I think they forgot to add it to mine. It taste nothing like the one my friend had. Overall, if I'm in the Miami/ aft. I don't know if I would use it honestly, the food takes a little longer than my tastebuds can handle if I were looking for a pleasurable dine in experience. When I order, I use the Yelp app and place my order in advance. Otherwise you may find yourself standing in line waiting to place your order and then waiting to get your food. Made me feel very welcome and the mystery lemonade is the best I had. The licking was always a go to spot for good soul food, while visiting so of course I'm not missing the opportunity to diner where I know the food will be good. I think that's what made me keep going back but anyway. All 3 orders I made in the last 2 days on separate occasions was missing food. Saturday I ordered and paid online through the official company site. My order was missing my add fried shrimp. I told the cashier and waited for my shrimp. The next day I placed and paid online order again through company website. I had my boyfriend pick my food up. Once he realized the taco was missing he went back inside the restaurant. He was then told this site does not sell fish tacos and he can only substituted the value for something else of same value and they don't do refunds.
