Hot honey chicken wings, LIT Mac & Cheese, potato wedges & vegetables rice & a side of strawberry cornbread
Dante W.

Hot Honey Wing Dinner - comes with 2 fixin's & a choice of rice & choice between a biscuit or the cornbread - I went with the vegetable rich & the "LIT" Mac & Cheese & Wedges. Everything was pretty good, the spice on the chicken is very hot, if you not into spice it may be a bit much, because I already tired their biscuit at Just Spoons Cafe I decided to go with the cornbread but it was a little disappointing! Overall love that Broward got a new spot for food and it's pretty good. (I got this delivered btw I probably won't ever check out the inshore ambiance if they even have one due to past experiences with the service and how it was received) 4/5

Salmon bites with Mac and cheese and green beans

I ordered pickup from uber eats and im so happy they actually sealed the food and packaged everything individually. I ordered the Honey garlic wings with vegetable rice Mac and string beans. The wings were delicious a very good flavor. The rice I couldn't really taste because the honey chicken was sitting on top of it so it just tasted like sweet rice which I didn't really care for. If they separate the rice and the chicken from being drenched in honey I think it would be better. The string beans were seasoned very well I loved them. The Mac and cheese was too sour for my taste but it carried flavor just too sour. My husband ordered the same except he had the salmon bites. He enjoyed all of his food he said the salmon was well seasoned and he actually liked the rice he didn't have a problem with the sweetness. He also said the Mac and cheese was sour he didn't like it but he loved the rest of his plate. Oh and that honey croissant was amazing melt in your mouth. The customer service was wonderful very welcoming. I will definitely try this restaurant again. Thank me later.

Dressing!

The dressing was delicious! The service was great. You must try it! All the food is great

My husband and I are enthusiasts of Just Spoons Cafe, so we were super excited to try out Just Spoons Soul To-Go. The entire experience was top-tier, from start to finish. The presentation and food were phenomenal. Each meal was packaged to maximize freshness and safety. The portions were generous and well-seasoned. It is clear that every item is prepared with care, pride, and love. We ordered the Catfish (with Dirty Yellow Rice and Lit Mac & Cheese) and the Jerk BBQ Turkey Wings (with Dirty Yellow Rice, Lit Mac & Cheese, and Bougie Red Beans). EVERYTHING WAS SPECTACULAR! We will definitely be ordering from this establishment again.

I was so excited to try this as every experience I've ever had at Just Spoons was delightful, however, this did disappoint. I ordered turkey wings with cornbread dressing, green beans and a honey croissant. I'll first start of by, I should have known my food wasn't going to be that good as it was ready in 9 minutes. A croissant takes more time to bake. Overall the food was lukewarm & salty. The food was so cold the gravy was a little thick & the croissant wasn't fresh. The food was subpar. I'm extremely disappointed because I never want to spend my money on food I can't eat and secondly I don't want to give a bad review to a black owned business.

The food was absolutely disgusting. My rice had a chuck of season in it. My chicken was full of oil & sauce no taste. Mac & Cheese garbage. Lima beans were so so but very soupy. I would have taken it back but they were about to close. Please do better if you can't serve quality food at the end of the day DON'T!!! Order checked by Niy how could you see this and expect someone to eat it. Would you? Money wasted

This is THE BEST soul food ive had across Palm Beach, Broward and Dade counties. TASTY, AMAZING,…read moreDELICIOUS, REAL SOUL FOOD! We enjoyed perfectly seasoned collard greens, black eyed peas, yellow rice, fried chicken, pork chops, red velvet cornbread, turkey wings and the best Arnold Palmer Ive ever had. This eatery practically shares a parking lot with Long John Silvers on Oakland Park Boulevard just…read moreWest of I-95 and east of 441. It's easy to find and has lots of parking. The restaurant seats more than 50. It's sleek with lots of black and red (to match its name). Except for one other table, it was practically empty on a Wednesday evening. Our first waitress was friendly. She brought our beverages and took our orders. After that, we got a different young lady. She also was cordial. (But got a bit testy when I went to find her so we could pay the check and leave.) We got the smothered chicken, smothered pork, fried chicken, three beverages, and two desserts. Let's start with the desserts. The peach cobbler crust was a bit thick and the peaches tasted like they were from a can. The red velvet cake was mediocre. Definitely not specially made. Now the sides. The corn bread was perfect. The red velvet corn bread was a treat. The greens were good. The rice was soaked in gravy. The yams were way too sweet. The entrees were the standout. The chicken only comes in wings. Nevertheless, they were seasoned and fried well, had a light breading, and were meaty. The pork chops were moist and savory. The smothered dishes weren't really smothered and could have used some more gravy, which lacked onions. But that didn't stop us from thoroughly enjoying them. Dinner for 3 with 3 beverages, 3 entrees, 2 desserts, tax, and tip was about $110. We hope to return and try the catfish, the turkey, and the liver and onions. P.S. A small group came in while we were eating and one of the diners was vaping. Isn't that illegal in restaurants? I was hoping the management would stop him. But he was there for about the last 15-20 minutes of our meal and continued to vape a few feet away from us.

Every dish is perfectly seasoned, and the portions are generous, you'll definitely leave satisfied! Owners Terrence Lemon and Johnnie Mae are always present, professional, and genuinely pleasant, making every visit feel special. Their hospitality is unmatched. The smothered ribs are my all-time favorite they're simply amazing! This is also my go to caterer for repass dinners. They've catered several of my church events, and every experience has been exceptional. The food is consistently outstanding, the service is top notch, and they always exceed expectations. If you're looking for great food and excellent catering, I highly recommend them!

I couldn't put my fork down and ended up devouring the entire plate without even realizing it. The collard green and cabbage mix was another standout. The combination of the two greens brought out such a rich, savory flavor, and the texture was perfect--not too soft, not too tough. You could really taste the care that went into preparing them. And let's not forget the lima beans! I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. Creamy, well-seasoned, and a great complement to the rest of the meal. Everything on my plate was made with love and soul--you can tell this place knows how to do comfort food right. I'll definitely be back for another plate (or two)!

Chef Juliette and the Lickie Stickie crew hold a very special place in my heart. The love and light…read morethat lives in Chef Juliette truly trickles down through her staff and shows up in every detail of the service. No matter when I visit, it's always a warm, hospitable experience--honestly reminiscent of The Ritz-Carlton. Surrounding businesses could learn a great deal from them. I first met Chef Juliette during a visit from DC in September 2025. My best friend introduced us, and immediately I felt the love of a mother and the passion of a seasoned chef who genuinely loves what she does. And that passion? It translates directly through the food. A few weeks ago, I was back in town visiting again, and the energy was exactly the same. We stopped by to pick up a catering order for an event, and Chef Juliette sent us off with pork chop sandwiches so big--and so good--I barely touched the catering food that day (thank goodness for to-go boxes and a freezer). I was able to bring back BBQ chicken, ribs, and the "Turn It Up Rice"--which is out of this world. Perfectly cooked rice layered with crisp vegetables, shrimp, chicken, and brisket... smoky, flavorful, and such a creative spin on fried rice. Then, the day after, Chef invited us back for a VIP experience--and when I say the love is real, y'all... it's real! She prepared a savory seafood étouffée enriched with shrimp and lobster, served over creamy polenta--an elevated take on traditional shrimp and grits. Paired with fresh-baked buttermilk biscuits, sausage from her brother in Georgia, and perfectly crispy bacon... everything was divine. The kind of meal that evokes emotion--the kind that makes you feel genuinely cared for. The restaurant itself feels cozy and welcoming--rich with history and personality. Every time I visit, I discover a new layer of her story which is told along the walls and decor. Chef Juliette is truly something special. If you're ever in the Pompano or Fort Lauderdale area, do yourself a favor and visit Lickie Stickie! And don't leave without trying the baked beans and black-eyed peas--Chef puts okra in them, and I don't want them any other way ever again. Outstanding.

Apparently, reflection of the challenging economic times we're experiencing. Very disappointed in the quantity and price of the Catfish daily special. For $15, I was shocked when I opened the very light, styrofoam takeout container and found a single, medium size filet. Really?! The portion of the sides were ample. The macaroni and cheese was cheesy delicious. The rice and peas were bland. I enjoyed the corn bread bombs. One of my dinner guests (1st timer) wasn't so sure about them. Customer service was the usual welcoming, friendly, prompt service that makes a customer feel like family. Along with complimentary samples of the daily soups and lemonade. All the tables had neatly arranged place settings with menus. The peeling floor needs repair. The verdict is also out on the drinks being served in the plastic containers. It would seem regular beverage cups are less expensive and easier to use. The soup samples were tasty and piping hot. One was supposedly seafood soup, but I only got chicken in both samples.
