First off, it's definitely one of those small, tucked-away spots you could easily miss if you didn't know it was there, but once you walk in, the decor is so cute. Think cozy, shabby chic vibes that make it feel warm and welcoming right away. The standout for me? The dinner roll. Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. It was dense, rich, and satisfying, not your typical light, airy Kaiser roll. It reminded me more of a Jamaican hard dough bread in texture and weight, which I personally loved. Super flavorful and filling. I was also really happy about their buy three, get one free promotion. It made it easy to try a few different things without feeling like I was overdoing it. As for the pastries, I tried the cinnamon roll and carrot cake. I didn't finish either, but the carrot cake definitely gave true homemade vibes. It had coconut mixed in, wasn't overly sweet, and felt more traditional than indulgent. If you like a less sugary, more classic-style carrot cake, you'll probably appreciate it. Overall, this bakery is worth a stop, especially if you're exploring the pastry trail. Not everything wowed me, but there were definitely some highlights that made it a good visit.

Love the atmosphere, pastries and mission of this spot: "inclusive coffee café employing people…read morewith and without intellectual and developmental disabilities and demonstrates the possibilities in all of us." Their mission is imbued in their staff, products, how they set up their space, and how you order. We came here for breakfast on a weekday and had a lovely experience. They have breakfast and lunch cafe menus (+catering), yummy pastries (cookies, muffins and scones) and various coffees and drinks. We enjoyed the omelette (if you order more than 3 ingredients there's a charge) and the village breakfast which was eggs, potatoes (slightly blackened), sourdough toast (or wheat) and bacon. Prices are fairly standard ($11-14) and portions not very large. The panetonne, toasted coconut, and chocolate chip scones ($5 each) were all good and baked well. The honey latte and hot chocolate (most drinks are $4-8) were also very creamy and delicious, though slightly too sweet for our tastes (made it taste good though!) You order at the counter and then take a table and place a marker with nice words like "love" and then your food is brought to you. The actual space is very inviting, with lots of nooks and crannies (tables with chairs, couches, a fireplace). They also sell t-shirts ($30) and sweatshirts ($40-50?) which are pretty soft material, as well as ground coffee, cards, granola, etc. The other half of their space is their homemade pasta place so it's a unique layout and looked fun as well. There were plenty of customers cycling in and out, many sitting down with a warm drink and a pastry. Parking isn't huge but was not super super small but could be an issue if they got an influx of folks hanging out. Wouldn't blame them though because it's a comfortable place with free wifi. Looking forward to returning! Shopping like Whole Foods, walmart, and Shop Rite are all within a few miles.

A fantastic business concept that makes way for hardworking individuals opening new opportunities and pride in one's Self. The service is spectacular and the servers smile earns an even greater smile in return. On one half of the open and airy space is Beanz and on the other side Pasta Co. Each works in unison. Seating is abundant with open and tucked away spots. Some limited outside seats as well. We have purchased breakfast items and devilishly delicious snacks and beverages. Over at Pasta are fresh dishes for a relaxing bite. There are also take home coolers and freezers for enjoying at home.

Apparently the back part of the building is an antique shop! I didn't get to check that out as I was heading to work! The building is super adorable, plenty of parking, and a beautiful outdoor seating area! Highly recommend!

I just chucked it and went across the street to Dom's for an actually well-made cup of coffee. The pistachio flavoring also tasted expired. There was no point in drinking it. It wasn't even foamy. I can make something better at home with my De'Longhi machine. And the pecan caramel bun just tasted like I was eating butter. The place itself is intriguing I guess, but I was just overwhelmed and didn't enjoy sitting there at all. The final touch was that their point-of-sale is on dialup and from a hundred years ago, so it's slow and they have a credit card minimum of $10. I could not in good conscience recommend The Coffee Trade.

As many bakery's in the area have at least 3-4 different options I only saw the one for this trip so my friends were limited on what they could have from the menu. The turkey bacon sandwich was layered with flavor and the bacon was a nice thick slice. The aioli complimented the turkey and cut back on the harshness of the arugula. The focaccia itself was tasty. The bread was airy, chewy, and perfectly golden brown. I did enjoy the latte I got because of how bold the coffee was. The beans were roasted perfectly and made the drink itself very smooth and robust. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everyone seemed very pleasant and the environment itself was very cool. I would definitely come here more often with friends and I would love to see more gluten-free options on the bakery layout

We'd had some similar vittles in a fancy New York restaurant, and the tab here was one tenth what we spent there. For my money, the food was just as good. Of course, the place in the city had a much different atmosphere and level of service, and if that's what you want then you expect to pay for it. At New England Pasta Company, you pay for the food. They get a lot of their stuff from local sources. My wife had the quiche of the day, and it was the first time in years that I'd tasted a real quiche, not those rubbery things that other places dish up. I had the pasta of the day, which was ricotta stuffed ravioli in an Alfredo sauce. It was fantastic. I saw other people eating sandwiches and salads. Everything looked delicious and generous. My beverage was watermelon limeade. It was very refreshing and not too sweet. For dessert, we had something called a ganache bar or something like that. Think of a slab of fudge with a graham cracker crust. It was very hard work finishing it, but I wasn't going to leave any behind. We took home a lasagna with meatballs and sausage. It was very good, as was the coconut wonder bar we pounded down on top of it. I'm not sure we'd drive there just for food, but if we're ever in the neighborhood we'll certain snag something to bring home. By the way, don't confuse this with Truffles, which is in the back. They are completely separate.

My favorite purchases were the fresh cut egg linguine and the Ritz-based stuffed cod. The fresh linguine cooks in a minute and the texture just hits different in the best possible way. The cod was nice and firm and the Ritz stuffing was crazy delicious. I also liked the Chicken Francaise. You can't really compare it to restaurant quality Francaise because it's specifically made to be re-heated and eaten later. With this in mind, I though that the small chicken pieces and lemon sauce were very solid. My other purchases included clam chowder and Tuna Mac Salad with peas. The Tuna Mac was pretty good. It wouldn't be in regular rotation for me, but I'd get it once in a while. The clam chowder was my least favorite, but I respect that New England Pasta seemed to go for something different. The texture was good and it had plenty of clams and potato. But it tasted like it had a little blue cheese flavor. I can't say for sure that they used blue cheese, but the chowder definitely had something different that gave it this vibe. For me, this flavor was a bit too assertive. I don't live near New England Pasta, but if I did, I would visit once in a while. Four Stars

This one in Avon is super cute and whimsical; love the decor with the picture frames on the wall. There was a table and some chairs to enjoy your treats. I decided to get a few macarons, bars, and a cupcake. All were so good but my favorite were the macarons. They were the perfect texture, lightly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The employee was very kind and friendly, and the shop seems smoothly run. The shop seems to be in two plazas, and have designated parking on either side next to the building. Watch carefully for the signs, because the plaza is a little nondescript from the road.
