Wish I could leave one star. Tried the Limerick Diner when it reopened and swore not to return. I thought it may have ironed out the kinks but not a chance. Food came out wrong and got a look from the waitress like it was my fault. And it is crazy expensive. Two breakfast orders and two cups of coffee was $50 with tip. I know its tough today but that shit is crazy. read more

i am BEYOND disappointed. I would give it 0 starts if i could. the disrespect and segregation was inhumane. i am a afro American 40 year old woman. I came in solo to eat here because it was recommended by a friend. Let me start off with.. Sean the "manager" had disgusting behavior. I was racially profiled as soon as i walked in, I was looked at and laughed at. i heard a woman say "what is she wearing" while laughing. when i was greated after what felt like an embarrassing 10 minutes i was sat down in the back corner to which it took about 5 minutes for me to get greeted or asked for a drink. When my waitress finally came and asked for my order, i ordered an egg benedict,i was still willing to give it a chance at this point. When the food came out it looked like slop, when i took a bite the egg was so well done it might as well have been hard boiled. I waited for my waitress to come back and asked her if i could get it remade or order something else. Which than she rolled her eyes and picked the plate up and took it. I was confused because i was beyond respectful and i just wanted my order remade. the manager came over and introduced himself as Sean, bringing a new plate of the same food i ordered which at this point i wasnt even hungry. Than he stood there uncomfortably until i took a first bite and asked "if its good enough this time" in a unmannerly tone of voice. Than i asked for a box because i was ready to go at this point, which i never got the box. When i went to pay, the cashier just stared at me and said that they took all of the food off the check and told me goodbye. As i was leaving i heard Manager Sean say "what a pain in the ass" i was nothing but respectful and patient just to get treated like it was the 1800s. I will never return or bring anyone i know there. For all my folks with darker skin than a fair white skin color.. i would not recommend. read more

My wife and I had dinner there tonight. Violet was our server and Steve was the manager on deck. We ordered the Eggplant Parmesan and the Chicken Caprese. The service was friendly and professional - really fantastic. The food was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous for the price. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The prices are very fair for the quality and portions that you get. The Limerick Diner is highly recommended. You should give them a try. read more

Our server was Chloe today. She was very polite and checked on us a few times. I had the Cobb Salad and it was excellent. There was no skimping on the chicken. We had an awesome dinner. You can't go wrong with this place. I had pork chop dinner special at 14.99! Comes with soup which was great and not over salty. Salad was huge with house dressing very Good, fresh and crisp. Pork chops were delicious with onions, etc and so much pork! Mashed potato was actually real and tasty. My wife got crab cakes special as well and same as mine, quantity and good. Last, my son got fried flounder special. Unreal they gave him 3 large fillets that were not over done and seemed fresh, but I doubt it. Bottom line is they give you a great tasty meal, large quantities, for a very reasonable 14.99. absolutely gotta go back!! read more

Had breakfast on a Sunday at 10 am. Surprisingly, we did not have to wait to be seated though dining area was full. Restaurant was clean. Food was average diner breakfast food. Ordered eggs over medium and they were a little runny. Had to ask for a refill on coffee. I feel that this should be a standard where someone is automatically going around and refreshing coffee for people during a busy breakfast day of the week. Waitress seemed like she was being bothered waiting on tables. Not sure what she was going through but we gave her grace. I have been eating at the Limerick Diner on a weekly basis since new ownership took over. The owner Dominic and the manager Steve always make you feel like family when your there. In addition, the wait staff has always been very friendly and attentive. If you're hungry for breakfast and pressed for time, this is the only place I recommend. They have the best omlettes and pancakes in the entire area. In addition, the dinner specials are always amazing and they also include dessert. At the Limerick diner you can fill your stomach without emptying your pockets!! read more

We decided to give this place a try for breakfast under the new management. It was clean inside. Very generic diner vibes. There was nothing particularly special or good about it. Everything was bland and under seasoned. Looking around at other guests plates, it seems like everyone covered their food in ketchup. Service was bare minimum. They forgot to bring the side of bacon my husband had ordered, but any time our server came to the table they ran off too quick to say anything. I had to flag them down, but once mentioned they brought it over right away. Overall I would not recommend or return not because it was so terrible, but because there are so many better options in town. read more

decent food, reasonable price , clean restaurant. the reason for the 3 stars..and have seen this several times. all the workers congregate at the drink station and mainly at the register. 6 employees around the register and I had to stand there for a minute to ring out. noisy and they have too many staff. that said, my order came out missing tartar sauce..had crab cakes. took 5 minutes to get someone's attention. there were 3 tables occupied and 6 staff doing nothing. seen nit before. if I see it again, the next review will be a bit..stronger. read more

if you're going to go to a diner in the area, drive the extra 5-10 minutes and go to the collegeville diner. i honestly don't know a single person who says they prefer or even like this place unfortunately. food is subpar, waitstaff is overworked so they don't have enough time to wait on you (not their fault), and the vibes are always just off somehow. read more

First time coming back to the this place since they reopened. Definitely new and improved and one of the better, clean looking diners in town ! With that came a price increase of course. Breakfast was typical and nothing extra ordinary. And since reopening, people seems to flock this place so we waited quite a bit for a table. All in all an OK experience. read more

Stick to breakfast and you will do A-OK! I've never been to a diner I could recommend the dinner service, but as a general rule...Diners are good for breakfast, OK for lunch, and forget about dinner... I got a breakfast special, 2 eggs, home fries, bacon, pancakes or french toast. I got the french toast, which was quite hearty. Very thick slices. The toast came buttered, the eggs over easy, and everything was quite good! Think I'd try the pancakes next time, or the waffle, the french toast didn't wow me...Food came out fast and hot! My server, Lexi, was quite pleasant and efficient. The silverware was a bit grimy and I told Lexi I dropped my fork and she quickly replaced it. I always love the look of the desserts in the counter, but generally speaking they look better than they taste. read more

I was taken back by the management not even acknowledging or thanking us as we walked out and paid. Just eating behind the counter and joking around with food in his mouth as we left. Decided to give this place a try since it re-opened under new owners. It was awful from the moment we got there until the moment we left. I walked in with my daughter, and were seated at a dirty table (sauce smeared, crumbs and leftover napkins on it). I immediately walked over to the host (seemed to be a teenage boy) and said "this is dirty we aren't sitting here, can you please move us?". No response, he just walked across the restaurant, pointed to another table and threw our menus on there. This all happened in front of the owner who was sitting right at the register... I ordered a western omelet with home fries and rye toast. My daughter ordered the French toast and a fruit cup. My rye bread came out 10 minutes before my eggs which was weird. When our meals came out my daughters French toast was burned, her fruit cup had pieces of fruit that were HUGE. I wouldn't have even been able to eat them whole, so it took me quite some time to cut up those pieces for her. My toast was cold at that point, my home fries were cold and my eggs smelt fishy. I kept smelling them to make sure I wasn't smelling another patrons meal, but sure enough it was my plate. I ate 3 bites and stopped. They tasted just as bad as they smelled. Only positives were the ambiance was nice and the waitress was very sweet. We will never be back. read more

Went 3 times, issues on every visit, slow service, high prices , not receiving everything we ordered, fruit flies, inattentive waitresses, no refills, cold food, etc. Too many other alternatives in the area to put up with this crap. read more

We had high hopes for the resurrection of this dinner after changing hands. The ambiance is great and there is plenty of seating. The food was above average with great choices. My biggest negative is how they handle credit card purchases. They charge a 3% up charge on the bill if you do not use cash. This is my biggest pet peeve. This is not how you run a business in these times. Nickel and Dime charges get people angry. The biggest gripe ppl talk about in Vegas is the resort fees and hidden charges. This is not Vegas. There is nothing worse than eating a nice meal and getting the bill with a fee added. It leaves a "bad taste in your mouth". We are not cheap people, just not motivated to return before trying other restaurants. They do so many things right. This is my only negative. Hint! Hint! read more
