My husband, brother and I were excited to find seats at the bar and order dinner. The bartender was a short blonde woman and there was a male bar back. The bartender did not acknowledge us for over 15 minutes. We were actively looking at the menu on our phones and talking about what we wanted to try and attempted to make eye contact with her as she walked by us with no luck. She didn't even say "I will be right with you", literally no interaction. She was very friendly with everyone else around us seeming to know exactly what they were drinking and happy to get it for them. We left as we felt very unwelcome there and ended up having excellent service down the street at Lukin's.

Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions. She was great and we really enjoyed interacting with her. We started with rum punches which were made with freshly squeezed juice and they were out of this world. We shared the "everything" wings which were crispy and that sauce was delicious. We were tempted to lick the sauce off the plate. We refrained so we didn't get strange looks. I had the Kimchi Reuben which is made with house made kimchi I might add. My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. We both opted for Poutine Fries for our sides. Guys, this food was unique and spectacular. I'm just bummed it's 3 hours from home! Overall, I had a great, albeit too brief, visit and will definitely return next time I'm in the area. Getting there was easy, as it's just off Route 8 in New Hartford. While the exact spot in the parking lot wasn't immediately obvious, Waze got me close. Once there, head to the left rear side of the hockey supply store. If you see the retaining wall for Route 8 and a pressure-treated wood deck, you're in the right place. Parking seems plentiful, though it was only moderately busy during my visit. Inside, the space features a long new bar, several tables, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere with excellent music at a moderate volume--loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough for conversation. Since I was alone, I took a comfortable seat at the bar and sampled a few beers, probably chatting with the bartenders and owner a bit too much (though they were all very nice, attentive, and helpful). The hazy IPAs I tried were quite good, particularly "The Wilds," and the sour beer on draft was delicious. I had already had a couple of drinks elsewhere, so I couldn't try as many as I would have liked, but they had plenty of cans available to go, which I eagerly grabbed. I ordered McKenzie's Pumpkin Jack Cider with a cinnamon and sugar rim, and my boyfriend got the Octoberfest beer. We also ordered a Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese and mustard and an order of nachos with chicken. Both were delicious! The beverages and food are in separate areas. Once you place your food order, they give you a buzzer to keep to notify you when it's ready to be picked up. I ordered the Ground Beef Chimichanga Lunch ($12.50) served with Mexican rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole. Complementary chips and salsa were also included. I enjoyed my lunch shortly after at a nearby park. The portion of food was good. The chimichanga filled with ground beef was pretty good, though the food had a bit of a saltier flavor such as the rice and refried beans with melted cheese.
