the famous breakfast sandwich which had egg cheddar cheese and sausage in it w: black cherry soda which is delish

Love this family owned business uptown of Hoboken, it's a gem, great staff and really hearty sandwiches highly recommend they do take credit cards and cash, there is a bathroom in the back and plenty of seating inside and outside, gets busy during morning hours because their breakfast sandwich is very popular along with their seasonal coffees. The ambiance is great and would go back to this spot for sure and their home made black cherry soda is a must try as well.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review for this place, but here we are! I absolutely love it here. They have a hard-working staff that make absolutely delicious, fresh breakfast sandwiches. You can get a slew of other things, of course, but the pumpernickel bacon, egg and cheese is my go-to. The drinks are also amazing. I prefer the chai latte. If you're looking for a cozy little nook in Hoboken to have some breakfast or coffee, this is the place!

My boyfriend lives close by to this small cafe, and we love coming here for our coffees. The staff is always kind and attentive, especially the gentleman that we believe to be the owner. He always jokes around with us, and remembers us & provides the best service and hospitality. We've enjoyed lunch/breakfast here and the food is always made fresh and with care. They have condiments available (and great hot sauce). PS : They have the best lattes/chai lattes! And a Pumpkin Chai Latte year round, I big recommend.

    Breakfast Hoboken "Hot" Bagels

This cafe is super cute! The owner? He stopped every table and chat with a customer, a lady takes order and who is a barista, she is friendly. I had a breakfast bagel, egg, cheese, spinach and onion on toasted onion bagel, it was amazing. Fresh eggs not eggs from a carton, the chef makes as order comes in. I've noticed some of the negative comments stated the waiting time, Fresh and good foods will take time, so busy time, you might need to be a little patient or go to Starbucks, it machine made sandwich comes in a bag and they will heat it up in no time. Cafe au lait went very well with my breakfast bagel. I can't wait to come back here.

The sandwiches remind me of an upscale version of the ones my Mom used to give me. They are on the smaller side but they are quality. I got one with chicken and it was tender and juicy. The pesto type sauce on it complimented the sandwich well. I think they make homemade lemonade since it has the Little Grocery label on it. It was refreshing and worked well with the sandwich. This is unassuming shop that packs a punch. I ordered delivery and it came quickly. Nothing else you can ask for.

    Coffee from LG!

I've lived in Hoboken for a decade and I've tried every breakfast spot under the sun. Either if it's for a friend visiting town or I just need my routine morning coffee, the Little Grocery is always at the top of my list. You can't go wrong with stopping in for breakfast at Hoboken's best breakfast experience! In a town where Baby Gap and Lululemon have replaced the local neighborhood spots, Little Grocery is a timeless gem that helps Hoboken retain it's authentic feel. The food is outstanding (literally anything you order), the service is the most attentive in town, the atmosphere is relaxing and genuine and the coffee is sourced from one of the best shops in NYC (Kobrick)! It pains me to let the secret out that the Little Grocery does have, as their menu naming suggests, "Hoboken's Best Egg Sandwich." Whether you get it on a bagel (which you should), croissant, or a roll, you will not be disappointed. I typically get either taylor ham or sausage with egg and cheese and I will never tire of either. These bagels and coffees are always the highlights of my weekend. The eggs are fluffy and the bagels are light enough to not slow you down for the rest of your day. I have legitimately never had a bad or rushed bagel from LG. The atmosphere and service are unparalleled. I walk in feeling like Norm from Cheers and it's evident with every visit that the staff builds this type of relationship with new and frequent patrons that stop by for their morning coffees. The music and aromas always pique my excitement and appetite upon every visit! The personal neighborhood experience does sometimes come at the cost of a wait but only during heavily congested times. With that said, the ambience, atmosphere and food make the wait worth it!

Cute breakfast spot. We came early on Sunday (before 10am) and it wasn't packed. We all ordered bfast sandwiches and cappuccinos. All the sandwiches were on point. Loved the fluffy eggs in my sandwich! Unfortunately, my cappuccino was not that great. It was kinda blah and I'll stick to regular coffee next time. Great place to get a tasty sandwich after a night out. Coffee was 4ish and the sandwich was 6ish.

    French chicken salad. So good!

There was only one other family dining, and the space stayed empty the entire time. The service was genuinely great. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and a really cute, cozy space. I especially loved the Christmas décor and overall vibe--it felt warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the prices. The house salad was $13 and honestly one of the most basic, smallest, and most boring salads I've ever had--very underwhelming for the cost. We also ordered quesadillas, a cheeseburger with fries, and grilled cheese with tomato soup. My son enjoyed the burger and fries, and the quesadillas were flavorful, generously filled with chicken and veggies, and came with sour cream, pico, and guac. The tomato soup was tasty, while the grilled cheese was just okay. One small but appreciated detail: canned soda. Cold, crisp, and not flat which is always a win. Lunch for 3 came in just under $100, which felt high given what we received. One frustration was being seated in a tight corner right next to the kitchen even though the dining room was completely empty. We were so close I could literally see into the kitchen and count items on the shelves. On top of that, the hostess repeatedly walked by calling out "corner," which became distracting and honestly a bit irritating. Overall, I liked the vibe, but the food-to-price ratio missed the mark for me. It wasn't bad--just alright.

I had also been glad to see that they had a reasonable amount of seating; Hoboken has no shortage of coffeeshops, but few of them have comfortable seating options. At that first visit, I had ordered a Golden Latte, which I had enjoyed, but found very overpriced for a small takeout cup. So, I had not rushed back there for a while. However, I recently met a friend for coffee and found my giant, dine-in mug of cappuccino with almond milk reasonable at its ~$6.50 cost. My drink was creamy, rich, and delicious. I was also thrilled that we were able to get a table on a Saturday afternoon, though we both found the service inconsistent, as it went from overbearing to avoidant. However, it was still friendly and not something that would prevent me from returning. Overall, Bluestone Lane's cozy cafe atmosphere and tasty beverages made it a great place to grab a brew.
