We had a string trio playing before the wedding. The streets were blocked off for the spring fair so we opened the bar for the delay, and delayed the wedding so everyone could arrive, and the guys loved it!!

Ahhhhh the Liberty! Such history for Puyallup here…read more Growing up we went to so many movies I can't even begin to count them. The tradition of the owner, and then the owner's son years later, introducing the movie by doing his 'don't do drugs & turn in a pusher' speech. Do you remember that? Hmmmm if not, you missed out. The floor was often sticky and eventually the chairs were so worn out you sat carefully hoping it wasn't going to break. The popcorn and snacks were always a super deal. But the climb upstairs to the bathrooms was a bit creepy and only one toilet per man/woman's side to accommodate a theater full of people, made for awkward situations. *sigh* reminiscing can be bittersweet sometimes. Now on to its current use. It was bought out from the family who owned it and converted into an events venue. From everyone I know who has since been to one, I am told they did an excellent job with the place and its a great place to reserve for your wedding, conference, etc. My baby sister even hosted a local bands showcase for all ages which worked really well here.

The John Daly and Pink Guava Mojito were both deliciously refreshing, which felt a little inconsiderate because now I have to think about them again. The homemade corned beef hash was fantastic, the Crab Bennies were out of this world, and the country potatoes were exactly what breakfast potatoes should be: crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not just there for emotional support. And each dish came with a yummy mini scone. The staff were super friendly and efficient, and the whole place had that relaxed, welcoming energy that makes you want to sit there longer than you planned. Overall, great food, great drinks, great service, and a clean, easygoing vibe.

This was our second time back at this restaurant and we really loved it! My husband kept craving…read moretheir breakfast burrito, so of course we had to come back. Unfortunately, we did find a hair in the burrito this time It was definitely gross, but they immediately made my husband a new one and waived the charge. Our server was amazing throughout the whole experience, so instead of using the waived charge as a discount, we used it to tip him extra. He truly deserved it! The first time I came here, I ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict, but I was WAY too hungry and completely forgot to take a photo. This time, I got the Open-Faced Dungeness Crab Melt and PLEASE get this if you come here. This was THE BEST dish ever!!! The crab, melted cheese and tomato worked so well together and everything tasted perfectly balanced. And the fries were SO crispy! Even with the little incident, we will definitely be coming back. The food is too good and our server made the experience even better! Also, if you're coming for a special occasion like Mother's Day, definitely make a reservation ahead of time. Honestly, I would recommend making one for weekends too because it can get busy!
