Great wine, amazing cheese and awesome food! My wife and I went to dinner with some friends at Camden Cellars and we had a great time! The interior has a cozy feel to it, and the outside patio lounge is very comfortable and warm. We had the burger and the tacos and both were amazing (the fries are to die for). The wine flight was tasty, and we shared the HUGE charcuterie board with friends. Everything on the board went great together and the chocolate covered bacon was cool to try! We've been there a few times and tonight we tried to give it a positive review , but I ordered the CV flatbread. It was absolutely horrible. They put a jam on the flat bread pizza. So gross that wasn't described in the menu. I didn't eat one piece. It made me sick. We will never go back. My husband could've gotten a hamburger from in and out that would have been 100% better. Service was slow, but she was nice. The food was really terrible. We had the chips and guac (boring and not much taste) , Brussel sprouts(interesting flavor, but nothing spectacular) , penne vodka(I asked them to take it off our bill. Came on opening night and found two seats at the bar. It was already busy and bustling. My husband and I like Cava so we started with that and waited on two friends that were coming. When they arrived we ordered the oysters and they ordered the flatbread. Presentation was outstanding. We both enjoyed our appetizers. The tacos and chicken strips were delicious. The service was great. They also have a happy hour daily. We were able to sit outside, the inside had a bad smell, almost like they needed to pour hot water down their drains to clear out the drains. That was the only negative, but we were able to sit outside, so it did not affect us. read more

So let me say this first...My husband of 16 years is a health inspector in Northern California, so we maybe notice a little more than the average person! We were visiting family in La Quinta and decided to stop in for a bite to eat. We arrived and noticed the stench of old sitting beer, a red flag but we had been traveling all day and decided to over look it. The service was very slow and they seemed to not know their menu at all, I asked a few questions regarding the menu and the server who seemed to be in high school didn't have many answers for us! Yikes. On top of the poor service when I walked to the bathroom I noticed a lot of old food sitting on the floor under multiple tables, could have been contributing to the smell we noticed as we walked in. We went to Camden Cellars for the first time today and we were so impressed. The food was amazing, everyone was so friendly and great service. Love the new colors and decor. The burger was super good with a wine crusted patty and super soft bun and was cooked perfectly. The muffaletta was the best we have had even better than the one from the Italian deli in Palm desert. Really fresh thin sliced soft deli meats. Loved the stuffed tomato. Can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. read more

We went to their first wine tasting yesterday and it was great! Brandon and the manager from La Fe hosted it and explained the five wines we tried. The chef explained his reasoning for the foods he picked for us to try. We had only done a cheese plate before at the restaurant so the five different tastes we got were new .. and delicious! We are pleased to have Camden Cellars as a new restaurant in our neighborhood. After the rave reviews we have seen we were a bit disappointed by our experience last evening. The service was slow. Only one of the two waitresses knew about the wine flights? Which by the way were very good. The warm chopped wedge was okay, but it was only after eating much if it did our waitress bring out the pooched egg that was part of the salad. Our dinners were so so. We tried Camden Cellars this weekend (brunch) for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The owner, Brandon was very accommodating and personable. The food is excellent and presentation is artistic. We were offered a tasting of the Camden Chardonnay and it was really good. We love that this is a locally owned and operated business. We just finished a very enjoyable visit to Camden Cellars and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Very nice variety of wines on their list and freedom to create your own wine flight of four wines for $25. And the pours, I felt, were generous. Excellent calamari, impressive 1/2 Charcuterie board for $22 that was More than enough for 2 people. Rachel is a knowledgeable and very personable server and part of the owning family. Definitely coming back for the dinner menu- fried oyster or shrimp po'boys!! Gotta try those. Suggested some outside tables more comfortable for dining and they're already in it. Only open since September so still tweaking. This venue is a brilliant addition to our area and should be very successful. Nice vibe and nice people!! read more

This place was just ok, but has potential. Food was cold when brought out. A little pricey. I think incorporating some daily specials and a happy hour would really get people excited to go here in this economy. A bottle of whispering angel was $45 when I know I could walk a few steps to the grocery store and get it for $25 is a little hard to digest. But a happy hour could definitely pull me back! Woah, I was totally unaware I came on opening day! My visit was so smooth and there was a great sense of community here. This place is such a beautiful gem, I can tell this is a place built to last. Joey and Brandon are so personable they really want to ensure that you are having a quality experience. The energy is electric. I got two of the build your own flights (any 4 numbered wines can be mixed into your own wine flight) all of the Camden wines were beautifully crafted and traditional in their own sense of the varietals and they offered a great selection of others to taste as well! On the menu side the seabass battered fish tacos were phenomenal, absolutely melted away like a seabass should but had just a soft crunch from the batter. The chef definitely has an excellent culinary background. I absolutely wanted to try the charcuterie! This thing looked epic. Honestly the ambiance, the presentation, and the quality is on the mark!
