Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. She took our drink order as well as our dinner order. At approximately 7:05 I saw the bartender making our drinks and place them at the end of the bar. During this time I believe that our wait staff was preparing one of our food items while the second wait staff was serving some customers in her are or taking orders. At 7:12 I went to the end of the bar to get our drinks but there was no glass for the wine as the bartender poured it out in a small carafe. So I left them at the bar. The room itself was very comfortable--open space with no corners to hide rooms or closets that typically make me feel uncomfortable when staying at a hotel by myself. The King bed was very comfortable. There were ample outlets to plug my devices, and the lighting was just right. I enjoyed the rainforest shower head, the toiletries, and the large mirror with makeup lighting, plus a magnifying smaller mirror for touch ups. The bar, coffeeshop and restaurant were all stocked well. The conference rooms huge and tucked away at a private enough corner of the hotel that doesn't bother the guest room area. A bit of a walk but great for exercise. The shuttle ride to and from another wonderful spot, Ryder Cup Grille, was a welcome service. Definitely a property I would return to despite not being a golfer, but for the wonderful amenities and all the above.
