If my review was based solely on the food, it would be two stars. The service was great, the restaurant is beautiful and literally every member of the staff were incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, the food was not good, none of it. If they were as concerned about seasoning and taste as they were about appearance, it could be a great restaurant. I had a burger with fries and French onion soup. The burger was cooked perfectly but the bun was soggy and fries had no salt. The soup also had no salt. French onion soup should have a rich, beefy flavor. This was bland and flavorless. The place has potential but I'm not wasting the effort to go back. read more

We had high hopes for The Lodge in Annapolis and there's one opening in Pasadena too. The decor is nice creates a nice ambiance the bar area looks fun and the seats at the high tops are very comfortable. That said we started with cheddar biscuits they were dry and over baked although I have to say I've seen other photos of the cheddar biscuits and they looked nothing like ours. So maybe they are good. Just not our batch. Then the Greek salad. The dressing was good however a true Greek salad doesn't serve feta crumbles they are usually small or medium cut blocks. The olives had a nice salt content to them. Overall it was decent, less the little feta crumbles. We then had the fried calamari it's was a very thick fry thick breading which over shadowed the actual calamari. We prefer a light very light fry. The rings were decent but the tentacles were seized from over fry and too much breading. It wasn't served with marinara but it was a good dipping sauce just the same. Sadly the Short Rib pizza which the server called flatbread was inedible the short rib was dry the mozzarella cheese so hard and the pizza bread part we left behind Why? Because it arrived cold and the cheese hardened. That was the servers fault it seemed it sat way too long under the warmer (we did wait quite along while for that to arrive). The server tried to make it right, and did even though we asked that she not do that. The manager he came over per the servers request. He saw every pizza bread all left behind because it was way too tough to eat the waitstaff took it away and showed him. The manager reversed that charge. Which was nice but we just wanted a nice meal we didn't go for free inedible food. That said we decided not to order a entree meal. Overall I hope they get their act together. And we will return to try the burgers and fries they did look good going by. read more

The Lodge Annapolis for Brunch was a great experience. The food offerings were excellent, tasteful and at the appropriate temperature for a buffet. The staff was courteous, professional and very accommodating. You have to visit the omelette station as you won't be disappointed with the variety of ingredients available for made to order omelettes. Since they are made to order be prepared for a small wait. There is also a chicken and waffle station, which the southern fried chicken was very flavorful and the waffles were hot and flowing. Definitely a good look for couples on a date outing or a family gathering if the party isn't too large. If the party is going to be more than 5, highly recommended making reservations or calling ahead to ensure the location can accommodate the party. read more

Our family had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday at The Lodge in Annapolis. My daughter had invited 14 of her friends and there was an additional 7 family members in attendance. The staff began setting up 30 mins. before the dinner and everything was ready at the start. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the manager on duty was amazing. Our server Zachary and the trainee working with him was the absolute best. They were so patient with all of the guests. We were sitting on one of the side Patios, and the weather was great. Lastly, the food was amazing. Everyone had a great time, and all the guests said they would recommend The Lodge to their friends and family. When I was at "The Lodge" my server, Anna was AMAZING and she was very quick about the food and she was very sweet. The ambiance was fancy and calm. I think that everyone should go to The Lodge because everyone is so sweet especially Anna. When I ordered the kids pepperoni pizza, it was very cheesy and delicious. Also, it was so good that my whole family wanted a piece and usually kids pizzas are very small at restaurants but the pizza here was not like it would be on a kids meal which it good.
