Came here on 1/11/24 for their soft opening and man I can't wait for this new spot to fully open in South Park! It's going to be such a hit. The drinks were bomb and ambiance was perfect!!! When: Friday at 5:00pm, party of 2 Overall: 4.8/5 Food: 4.5/5 - we got the bbq chicken flatbread. It was pretty good but not a standout for us. The drinks are what really shine here but it was still very nice to have food to pick from since we were starving! Drinks: 4.8/5 - Same mixologist as the Cellar At Duckworths so i knew these dunes were going to be fire and i was correct. We got the paloma which was yummy with fresh grapefruit juice. I think i got the dirty collins which was a lighter drink but not overly sweet so it was perfecttt!! I was eyeing the pisco sour too but will have to try that next time. Service: 4.8/5 - Since it was their soft opening I either expected mediocre service or top of the line. Thankfully I received the latter! Saturn was a wonderful server who provided great recommendations for drinks and kept checking in on us. She was super sweet and hospitable! Vibes: 4.8/5 - definitely get a seat in the bar area if you can. It feels more intimate and cooler..! we were seated in the dining room which was still nice and more quiet but i think it would have been more fun for us personally to be closer to the bar to watch them make drinks and overlook the road by the windows. The place is just like a modern day cocktail lounge! Other: free parking garage in the same building! It is inside of Duckworth's but up the stairs.

It was my first time visiting this spot, and I absolutely enjoyed myself. It feels like a hidden gem, quiet and tucked away. The atmosphere is perfect for lounging, making it an ideal place to meet up with friends for drinks or even for a date. I can see it as a great spot for an after-dinner date, thanks to its extensive drink list and cozy, loft-like decor. This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you in--classy, cozy, and timeless. The decor strikes the perfect balance between vintage charm and modern luxury, making it an ideal place to unwind. Their cigar selection is impressive. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado or just exploring the world of cigars, there's something for everyone. The staff is super knowledgeable and always ready with a great recommendation. Drinks? On point. The cocktails are crafted with care and the bar menu complements the cigars beautifully. It's the kind of place where you can sip, smoke, and actually have a conversation. But what really sets this place apart is the waitstaff. Attentive, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they take pride in making every guest feel at home. If you're looking for a classy spot to enjoy a good cigar, a great drink, and even better company--this is it. I can't wait to come back

We were immediately turned away because we had on sweatpants. The attire rules are posted at the door in a very abrupt and abrasive way and we were quickly approached. The bar was near empty, we only wanted to continue our friend's bday celebration. There was a white server that walked right by us and entered the cigar room with the black server. She didn't say anything to us but the black server immediately came out and told us we needed to leave because of our attire. We were kempt and professional, yet casual. The servers had on uggs, leggings, half zip nylon pullovers, and had the audacity to approach us about attire. I will never, ever, spend my dollars, nor recommend this place to anyone...for ANYTHING.

We started with the deviled eggs, which were not too creamy and very well spiced. We then ordered cranberry mimosas, a chicken and waffle, an a veggie omelet. The cranberry mimosas were so fun because we got to make them ourselves! The chicken and waffle was ok- I requested gravy on the side but it certainly needed the sauce. The waffle was a little dry and the chicken was average. The veggie omelet was excellent and I enjoyed the fillings. I'm not a potato fan, but my friend enjoyed the potatoes. The biscuit was standard too but complemented the veggie omelet well. I'd say the star of the show were the fried French toast sticks- they were hot, sweet, and hit the spot perfectly. If I came back to Whiskey Warehouse, I'd choose the deviled eggs, French toast sticks, and mimosas.

Super talented bartenders mixed great cocktails and they have some nice selections of beer on tap and wine. The space is tight and, if I'm being honest, the seating wasn't extremely comfortable, but the vibe in this place more than makes up for it Service, from Madison, was excellent. She knew tge menu and had great insights. She was crazy busy but took excellent care of us. The food was quite nice. Candied Bacon is a must. I had a perfectly cooked filet, we had a delicious short rib, and the Cone Trio. The trio was really tasty but the kitchen somehow forgot to put the tuna in one cone and it was only guacamole. Odd, but Madison took care of it right away and it was great. Would recommend 100% and definitely return.

We also wanted to celebrate with a strawberry mojito. First, our waiter told us they were out of the non-alcoholic version, so we said we'd just get the alcoholic one instead. He came back again and apologized, saying he had misspoken--they don't offer strawberry mojitos at all, either non-alcoholic or alcoholic. He first suggested a cranberry spritzer, then recommended a lemon drop and a strawberry chipotle mojito. Unfortunately, both drinks were disappointing. The lemon drop was bland, and the strawberry chipotle mojito barely tasted like it had any alcohol and was also lacking flavor. We were told the upstairs comedy club had recently been renovated. While it looked updated, I was surprised by how small the stage was. The seating also felt cramped, with four people expected to share a very small table. Compared to other comedy clubs we've visited in Charlotte, the layout just didn't feel well thought out. The highlight of the night was getting to see Flame Monroe, but overall the venue itself didn't leave a lasting impression. If you're curious, it's worth visiting once to experience it for yourself, but it's probably not a place we'll return to.

The good: Out waitress Molly was very nice, the bartender's choice was fun and the perfect drink for each of us. The espresso martini flight was great and my favorite was the creme brulee espresso martini. The drinks were honestly the highlight and why they get three stars over two. The ambiance was pretty and the whole set up of the restaurant was very cool. The food was good, but not amazing for the price point. The disappointing: The entire place was extremely understaffed for a Saturday evening, and nothing on Molly our waitress- she was doing the best she could. We waited 30 minutes to order, because there was only one waitress. We had no utensils or napkins and had to request them after some of our food already arrived. The pretzel sticks are said to come with a cheese fondue- it's just a cheese sauce. We were expecting fondue. The tuna tartare had big chunks of tuna that was fresh, but also warm, which is not ideal for ahi tuna. I only had one piece of the BBQ bourbon pork but my piece was dry- my roommate and husband said that was probably their favorite dish however. The duck confit was my favorite, the microgreens and sweet mango citrus reduction was a great pairing, but again nothing wowing for a $300+ bill. Ultimately, good, just too pricey for the experience itself.

The weather was so nice so we wanted to grab a table on the patio. At walk in there wasn't a hostess available at the door so we sought out an employee by the bar area and asked to be seated. After finding someone we were promtley seated on the patio but with only 2 menus for 4 people. She did apologize and said those were the only menus she had left. The music was SO LOUD. I mean it was absolutely blaring. We couldn't hear each other let alone the waitress taking our drink ordered. A group next to us had a dog and I felt so bad for it because it was noticeably uncomfortable with all the noise. Anyways, our drinks were delivered and the server came out with her tablet to take our orders. Not too long after someone else brought them out. We got 3 sets of wings and a Chicken Cesar wrap. One of the wing baskets came with no sauce on them. Naked wings with the buffalo sauce in a cup on the side. We had actually asked for extra sauce on side but it was apparently miscommunicated. The waitress was nowhere to be found. Actually, no staff was readily available. If you wanted something you had to get up and ask for it. We found someone and they offered to take them back to the kitchen and retoss the same wings in sauce. At this point they were cold so we asked for a fresh order. The Cesar wrap I ordered was super bland and although I did appreciate their shape/style the fries were cold. It also was missing sauce which probably added to the lack of flavor. The wings came with ranch so I just used that since it was already on the table After finishing our food our waitress had still not been back around so we had to go inside (again) and find her to pay. The location is great but the combination of poor food, service and the ridiculously loud music really ruined the experience for me.
