Charges coming. Apparently baking and alcoholic beverages will be offered. .

I've had consistently good coffee at The Loft and it's a pleasant place to visit. There is ample seating. There are new owners who have added baking and have applied for a liquor license.

Meandering through downtown Everett, past their Sunday farmers market, where I decided to grab a 16oz mocha at another indie, The Loft Coffee Bar (3/17/24). Beans are from Fidalgo Bay, some menu items are available from the pastry and refrigerated cases. Ample seating available by the entrance, high tops, counter, and a few tables onsite. Some natural light streaming in from the front windows onto the wood flooring. Nice spot where one can have a convo, get stuff done via laptop, enjoy a selection of board games, or just chill with the overhead music. Note: No coffee art provided, no crema - just steamed milk, and a 35 cent "non cash convenience fee" (see Yelp tip) added to the subtotal, tax, and my 20% tip. Pretty pricey for a standard mocha. Just saying. Nice to stop in with angle street parking out front. View of the Olympics looking westward and proximate to a few antique shops.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning at 9am and it was quiet. Service was friendly and quick and there was a lot of seating in store. I ordered a couple of decaf caramel macchiatos for me and my husband and they were DELICIOUS. I'm still thinking about that drink now.

Very cute spot, dark, woodsy, plants vibe. Coffee is reasonably priced, but a small selection of pastries. Don't know if that's the usual or I just came in at a busy time. Unfortunately it closes at 3pm but otherwise a nice spot

Friendly baristas and a great selection. Try the mushroom latte!

Always enjoy my visits here. Usually get a drip or americano, nothing fancy, but delicious just the same. I've mentioned it before, but they make a great cortado! In addition to great coffee and bakery products, you can now read a variety of magazines online for free using magazine jukebox now offered. Enjoyed articles in Car and Driver as well as Popular Mechanics.

My friend moved to downtown Everett last year and is still exploring the area. She told me about…read morethe vegan joint nearby that she hadn't been to yet. We're both omnivores who eat a fair amount of plant-based fare for health reasons (I have allergies and intolerances, she's heeding doctor's advice). To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.
