I've been coming here for a few years now and I love that their coffee is always consistent. I have yet to get a burnt cup of coffee from them which is why they're my go to spot! I love that they use organic coffee beans! It's a great warm welcoming vibe inside. Just feels cozy and there's always seating when I arrive. They have a back seating area if you want quiet. For the holidays they put up Christmas decorations definitely brought the Holiday spirit here. They work fast here so I don't have to wait in ridiculous lines like Starbucks. I ordered a vanilla latte with came with a nice design. I live a socially conscious lifestyle so I'm happy to continue to support this wonderful coffee shop and their Fair Trade practices. Add local beer on tap and wine in cans, and all you need is quality coffee, which they have too. My wife and daughter are split on who serves the better coffee drink, The Loft or Narrative, a few blocks away. I think Narrative has the edge. This coffee shop has truly excellent coffee, the kind that stops you in your tracks, as it did to me. Keep in mind I'm a real coffee snob & my standards are high. After the first sip I had to stop & savor this delicious brew that kept its perfect taste to the bottom of the cup. I'm a black coffee drinker so it's only coffee I'm tasting & Loft gets an A+ rating. For perspective, there's only one other coffee that I give an A rating to & that is Stumptown coffee. The coffee shop looks nice & the baristas are even nicer. My only suggestion would be to get some fabric or sound panels on the high ceilings to absorb some of the sound to make it more pleasant & comfortable inside. I've have driven by The Loft almost a dozen times and wanted to stop in and check it out. Well I'm moving in a few days but I finally made it here! Looks small from the outside but it's a very big space with generous seating!!! Decor is very cool with tables spaced out nicely and big leather chairs facing an electric fireplace! I love the architectural lighting and open shelving! Service was great and I loved my nitro cold brew! This place is great! Lots of tables, despite how it appears in the first few pictures on Yelp. There are, however, only a few spots with outlets. My non-coffee drink was very tasty, the baristas were both hip and nice, and the wifi was good. I was here for a few hours and never felt pressure to leave. It would be awesome if eventually they are able to extend their hours later into the evening, as I would definitely come to hang out. This place has a lot of potential to be a cool spot with a little bit more effort on the decor, but it's new and might develop character with time. I did notice that the clientele during the day on a Saturday was pretty diverse but skewed younger/hipper than other places in the area. Overall, I'm so happy with The Loft and will be back next weekend! So glad to have a place like this in Everett! read more

Nice, little and, hip joint that has a large selection of coffee and pastries. I had the dark vanilla nitro-infused cold brew coffee, and it was the best coffee I've ever had. The dark chocolate chunk cookie paired well, and was equally as delicious. The baristas were friendly and I enjoyed the feel of the coffee shop. Whether you're there to people watch, read, meet up with a friend, or just hang out, this coffee shop is an excellent place to hang out. They have the music on the variety station, so it's not just constant smooth jazz all day. Met some friends here and had a nice chat...outside that is because it is l-o-u-d inside. The person behind the counter was pleasant and efficient; just the kind of person you want to encounter taking your order (thanks!). Unfortunately, she had to repeat herself over and over with questions because of the sound level, but we made it through the ordering process. My friends and I ordered one of each kind of scone and two were awful with only one being somewhat edible. There is some 90 minute parking available out front if you're lucky enough to get a spot. They are SWEETIES! i love how they always make me feel special. i always feel a little spoiled and the whole Loft experience always starts my day on a super positive vibration.
