We arrived around 9:30 AM for brunch. On a typical day, I would have ordered the breakfast croissant, but I was feeling adventurous. I tried the chicken sandwich, which was served with fries topped with shredded Pecorino Romano. While the bun was pleasantly toasted, the chicken (with mayo, lettuce, and cucumber) lacked flavor. It tasted under-seasoned and needed an extra element to elevate it--perhaps pickles, cheese, or maybe even a different sauce to complement the flavor of the mayo. I found myself alternating bites of the sandwich with the fries, which were nicely crispy. The saltiness of the Pecorino actually helped balance the milder flavor of the chicken. To drink, I had a hot Americano. It was flavorful, not too watery, and served in a beautiful black mug.
