Food is great, prices are a bit high if you want to sub out any items (like fries for a salad) but overall a good experience

Quite possibly one of my worst experiences at a pizza place. The staff was standing around for over half an hour doing nothing and completely forgot about the pizza that my girlfriend and I ordered 35 mins before. MUST try the Spicy Cilantro Chicken pizza. Sun dried tomatoes, plenty of cheese, enough chicken and don't let it fool you, the cilantro is not spicy. They also have a full selection of great salads and sandwiches. The nice thing for me was that they have some specialty pizzas so it's not just the same ole cheese an pepperoni. With it being a chain you still get the feeling your in a locally owned place. This location in Kernersville was surprisingly not packed at lunch, the one in Winston-Salem tends to be really busy. All in all the service was great. And who doesn't like the option to have a beer with your food?!?! read more

My mom and I happened to stumble upon this place while we were out of town. Knowing nothing about it, we decided to give it a shot. We were expecting to be waited on like a sit down restaurant, but it was still okay to place an order at the counter. I ordered the southwest grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and it was great! The portion is the perfect size I think, and the sandwich had fresh jalapeño pepper which is different. My mom ordered the Mediterranean veggie ciabatta, which looked really good, she liked it but thought it was a little dry. Overall, I think the fries outshined everything else! My favorite thing from the loop is the BBQ chicken pizza and the Asian chicken salad. Great food and great customer service! Staff is always so friendly. Especially the manager with reddish hair, she is so nice and always makes sure we have everything we need. On Tuesdays it's kids night which is great for my child to eat for $1.99! How neat is that!? The service was amazing the young lady at the counter helped me select a salad to go with the pizza and the person cleaning the lobby was so helpful with providing me with a to go container. I have had varying experiences at this restaurant. The first time I went was strange and felt unconventional compared to other restaurants however I would like to look at the positives. I decided to get the chicken finger strips just because it is very hard to mess that up. I felt the chicken was very quality and the breading was full of flavor and coated the poultry very evening. The French fries where very good too. I enjoyed the length and shear girth of them. It just felt right in my mouth. The restaurant was also very clean however they should pay attention to cleaning harder to reach areas. Lastly I felt the prices where rather steep. You could most likely get better food for cheaper if you ask me. All in all this place was nothing special but they are a solid place if you just want to try a new place. read more

I'm a regular customer at The Loop, but apparently COVID19 has thrown them for a loop. Spent $53.80 today for 3 salads, 2 cups of soup, one chicken sandwich and 4 drinks. That's not what is getting them the bad review. I'm writing a bad review because the salad I normally get is usually almost double the portion I received today. Apparently they have chosen to put all menu items in disposable packaging even though we were dining in and the portions in the disposable packaging were much smaller than usual, but the price was the same. For the first time ever, I left The Loop still hungry. I will not be going back until COVID19 is over and would discourage anyone who goes for their salads to stay away as well read more

We ate the the Loop in Kernersville for the first time since March. All food was served in a takeaway container due to Covid. The issue was the portion size was HALF what it used to be but the price was still extremely expensive. We paid nearly $60 for 4 salads that were the size of side salads. My law mentor and I went out for lunch after a full day in court. I ordered the goat cheese, walnut and cranberry salad and upon eating half of the salad I discovered what looked like an insect leg folded inside a piece of romaine lettuce. Please be more careful of what you serve to your customers. Sanitation is a MUST as a restaurant owner. This was simply unacceptable and I won't be coming back. read more

The Loop Pizza Grill...good concept but poor execution today. This was our first visit. We went early in the day when it was quite a rush but it was still loud. We ordered at the counter and waited at least 20 minutes for a chicken sandwich and chicken tenders when we noticed others that ordered after us getting their food. We went up to the counter and they had lost our order. They offered us free chips while we waited which tasted alright. We finally received our food and it looked good but that's when it went wrong. The Buffalo sauce and blue cheese I ordered with my tenders ended up on my boyfriends BBQ Chicken Sandwich....he didn't want to complain but the Buffalo, blue cheese and BBQ sauce just didn't mix well. Since we had already waited 30 minutes he just ate it. The quality of food was as expected,no complaint there, just the execution flopped. Menu said burgers cooked to order ask for medium rare they said we can only do medium.(code for our patties are frozen not fresh and it will not be thawed before it is medium) My wife ordered a chicken feta wrap.$21 for a frozen burger and a wrap no drinks just water ! food comes up and my burger has non of the toppings on it even though it was specifically discussed at ordering we take it back they put the lettuce tom and onion on it and hand me a mayo pack $10 dollar burger some assembly required. after several bites my wife unrolls her chicken FETA wrap and finds no FETA none at all! and maybe 3 OZ of chicken. We take it back and they make another one. Over priced cheaply made processed food we could have gotten the same quality at a lower price at the cookout at the other end of the parking lot! We got here often. The food is good, I almost always get a burger and it is flavorful and juicy, def my favorite burger! Chips are usually pretty good. My husband gets chicken ciabatta and likes it. I got a salad once and liked it. Only gave it 4 stars bc the price is a tad bit high, but you get good food, and sometimes (not always) tables aren't cleaned off or aren't wiped down (usually the case), so you kinda have to go to the next table, esp during busy times. Overall, tho, the fact that we go there frequently should say that it's worth a trip and you probably won't really have a problem. read more

I really like this place! I agree that the prices are a little high, but as a vegetarian, I'm willing to pay a little extra for some good choices. The food tastes good and they make it however you want it. I love their black bean burger! I order it on wheat with cheddar cheese. Their Mediterranean pizza is really good too. I always get it with a side of marinara because it doesn't come with much sauce. I also really like their black bean soup. For an added treat I like to order it with their delicious signature bleu cheese chips. The self service doesn't bother me at all. It's just like panera. No one seems to mind it there. read more

We came after church so it was busy, we waited about 20 minutes for our food to arrive, the counter service could be better, since you pick your own seats, there should be someone to "direct traffic". The food was delicious, but the drinks were not included in the meal we spent 15$ on drinks alone. It could have been cleaner in the bathrooms, it was about 60$, which I find pricy for how much we got. One of the staff members was a bit rude when we ordered dessert. This is one of the best places in Kernersville with a great variety of food. I have had numerous items on the menu and all have been delicious. Personally, I am a vegetarian and this place has a great selection of both non-meat and meat items. The build-your-own pizza, walnut gorgonzola salad, and portabella melt are some of my favorites. I love The Loop! Their pizza is some of the best restaurant pizza I've had, and as a vegetarian I am able to find many delicious options here. The Portobello mushroom sandwich is awesome, and combined with a side of fresh fruit it's a super healthy and filling meal without a ton of calories. Their salads are also delicious - always fresh, generously portioned, and full of uniquely tasty ingredients like goat cheese or gorgonzola. It's not the cheapest place to eat - $8-9 for one salad - but sometimes you get what you pay for, and you are paying for fresh, quality ingredients like you would use if you prepared the food yourself, so I have to say it is worth the price. I come here fairly often with my grandma and we love this place! Their tomato bisque soup is delicious as well as their homemade chips and I love their pizza too. Anyway, today my grandma and I swapped out our usual chips for broccoli trying to eat healthier and my grandma choked on a piece of broccoli -- couldn't breathe, couldn't speak, was truly choking. It was so scary. I yelled "Hey! Help, my grandmother's choking, she can't breathe!" and no exaggeration, we were *immediately* surrounded with the kindest employees and patrons alike who performed the heimlich and saved her life. I am so thankful for the kind ladies who helped and the three men who work here and did absolutely everything possible to let us know they care and to make sure she was truly okay before leaving us alone. The loop pizza grill is a good place to eat if you're looking for a good burger and delicious sides. The pizza is good (I've had a lot better, but it's not terrible. It's good/borderline great) but I definitely would go for the burgers. Their homemade chips are also very delicious. The wait for the food is short and fast which is great if you're in a hurry. My wife and I stopped by for dinner 1/20/12. My Blue Cheese burger was perfectly cooked to order (medium), hot and delicious. I was also pleased with the selection of beer. I'm not aware of any restaurant in Kernersville that carries bottled Natty Greene's Old Town Brown Ale or other Natty Greene's brews for that matter. We had a nice conversation with the owner, Mike, who treated us to a plate of hot, home-cut potato chips covered in melted Blue Cheese - really good stuff! read more
