It had been ages since I'd eaten at Carrabba's, but my partner and I had a lovely time. Though on the small side, the dining area is chill and relaxed, which was a welcome change from the usual hustle and bustle of many casual dining places (no sitting too close to other patrons, at least not in our section). The food was delicious and the service was relaxed (no hovering), which allowed us to enjoy our meal and chill. My salad (yes, we dared!) was really good and my steak was cooked to perfection. I have always enjoyed carrabbas but honestly forget about it since it's not downtown or right at the mall. I saw Instagram ads about the wine dinner and was finally able to make the day work in August. Their wine dinner has to be one of the greatest wine events I've gone to. It's an amazing value ($60) and the staff is wonderful and organized. I came solo so set with a table of regulars and I could instantly tell why they are regulars. The portions require a to go box for most people but you could also participate in their $10 take one home deal. All of the wines went great with each course I loved the seafood courses especially the scallop salad with lemon balsamic dressing. It was light, refreshing, and perfect for the summer heat. It went great with the Kim Crawford Sauvignon blanc. The cab with the desert was also an excellent pairing. I'm not a huge peanut butter fan because it's so rich but with the wine I loved it. I did love the prisoner but that's an all time favorite of mine and what made me excited about the event. This was such a fun event and I hope to come to future ones. This Carrabba's location has been my go-to chain for a very long time. Restaurant is always clean, decor is tasteful, music is never too loud or distracting. The bread and oil is consistently good, and is my favorite of the "free starter at chain and casual restaurants" category. They went through that phase of not offering more oil on the tables, but I am happy to report that that has been reversed as of late. The menu offers a very solid selection of both appetizers and mains, my favorites are the mozzarella sticks (shockingly good) and caprese burrata to start, and either chicken or sirloin marsala as an entree. In terms of sides, I actually don't enjoy the selection very much, and most of the more popular items require a $1-$2 upcharge. Still, I usually fill up so much on appetizers that I don't care by the time my meal comes. The soups and salads that come with the meals are also very good. The caesar salad is actually one of the best that I've eaten. Service is hit or miss, but never so bad that I've wanted to speak to a manager. read more

We took my cousin here for his birthday dinner. It was pretty slow so we were seated fairly quickly. Our waiter was very friendly and took our drink and appetizer menu properly. The place is very relaxing with ample seating and a big bar in the center as soon as you walk in. We all got sangrias, unfortunately, it did not have fruit in it the way we like it. The ambience is casual. The seating is OK with regular tables and chairs and some booths. The decor is mostly pictures of old Italian scenes. The parking lot is ample and is shared with two other businesses. It is off a main road but pushed back a little from the street so you can miss it if you're not looking. The bread that they serve immediately is warm and comes with an dipping oil with perfect Italian seasonings. I suggest you eat it immediately while the bread is still warm. We got the zucchini fries, which were a bit over seasoned and soggy, we were not too happy with them. My wife got the shrimp scampi which came with slices of perfectly toasted and seasoned garlic bread. I got the fettuccine Weezy, which comes with shrimp, mushrooms, and garlic. It is a good size portion and I ended up taking half of it home. The fettuccine was cooked al dente with a smooth creamy white sauce, perfect combination of mushrooms and garlic with a generous amount of shrimp to bring the plate together. I would definitely order this again. As my side, I got a lentil and spicy sausage soup, which was very hearty and not overly spicy. The birthday boy got the salmon topped with calamari and shrimp. Also a decent portion of fish and he loved the topping and got a taste of it all in every bite. He opted for a Caesar salad as his side and was pleased with it. Since it was my cousin's birthday, they contacted a dessert however unlike other restaurants, nobody saying happy birthday to him overall a great experience, especially with our waiter who stayed on top of our drinks and constantly checked on us. This wasn't my first visit but it was the first time I was there for lunch. They have some pretty great lunch specials. I got the chicken bruschetta sandwich and it truly blew me away. The bread was warm and toasty but not too crunchy. The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The pesto and tomatoes were great. They definitely need to dust and do better at cleaning, but the service was the worst ever couldn't get anyone's attention and when our server will come to the table, she would rush us. We couldn't even finish our sentence of what we wanted before she would walk away my husband ordered meatballs and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were still not cooked and cold inside. I ordered some scallops and shrimp with some Alfredo ended up getting food poisoning. This popular Italian chain restaurant is like most national chains, much of the menu is ordinary, with an occasional solid item or two - the key is to find those solid items! This well sized spot is very attractive, especially the bar area. It is a very relaxed, comfortable area, softly lit with classic songs playing gently in the background! One dish that I've had at this chain that I find to be excellent is Cozze In Bianco - PEI Mussels in a white wine/garlic sauce, that is a touch creamy, but is not overdone! I ordered this dish, a Peroni draft, and I dug into the complementary bread service. Along with that Italian style bread there is a small, minced mixture of oregano, garlic, red pepper flakes, ground black pepper, parsley, rosemary, and kosher salt - just add the quality olive oil that is on each table, and start dipping the bread! Only problem was the absolutely minuscule amount of the chopped items served me on this visit - see the photo! There was barely enough to use on one slice of bread! The Mussels were quite nice and there was a nice quantity - at least 25 nicely sized mussels. At $13.29 this is definitely a value meal. The other item here that I've enjoyed is the Lamb Chop dish - 3 double bone-in chops, well cooked, very tasty, a bit pricey though as the price has risen substantially over the last several here- and not just here! The service was a bit inattentive - had to take my ticket to the bar to make payment after waiting for over 10 minutes. I love Carrabba's. The spaghetti with pomodoro was tasty and comes with soup or a salad for under $15. They were running a special, $10 take home meals for equal or lesser value. While I didn't do this, it's a good deal. They also brought out parmesan for the pasta. This particular location was also offering $10 off wine bottles. While I didn't order wine, this was a great offering. I came due to a $10 off promo which was valid for a few days. I'm glad I came. Service was fast and staff was courteous. read more

Great service and food! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated at a table. Within a few minutes our server came to the table to offer a taste of their featured wine. She then took our drink order and brought a basket of bread. Oh the bread.... we ate a few loafs! It was warm and so fresh. I know this location has less stars but I had a great dining experience just now. The staff were attentive and friendly to my party. The food was great! I suggest trying the lentil and sausage soup! I did try the Trio chicken dish, my only quirk was that they all had the same taste due to to blend of sauces they were swimming in. I stilled enjoyed my meal though. This place is always a good bet. It has a quiet enough volume that you can chat with your group without making your throat sore, yelling over other tables. The food is delightful, and they have a few good wine choices (though it is a short list). I have noticed that the steaks tend to be one step more done than you ask (medium comes out medium-well, medium-well comes out well, etc). Well I am going to say this restaurant over exceeded my expectations. 10/10 As we were planning for my daughter's graduation with booking a food restaurant to accommodate the out of town family. It was very difficult to find a restaurant to accommodate a reservation party of 20 on Mother's Day, Graduation and Prom weekend. The restaurant was busy as expected with a slight wait. Some our guest started with bar drinks during the time waiting for our table. We were seated and it was team effort from the servers. We ordered appetizers calamari, meatballs, classic combination which calamari, stuffed mushrooms, sausage and mozzarella sticks for the table. Pitcher of Sangria was excellent. The Rib Eye steak which was ordered medium well however, it came out cooked well done. The server April had the steak made over to medium well and it was delish. The staff was very accommodating and made my daughter graduation dinner the best. The manager came out to take our family group pictures. The waiter checked on us frequently and asked us did we need anything. She was able to handle our large party among others with ease. Nightmare on Elm Street. Came in, sat at the bar, waited 20 minutes finally acknowledged after laser eye beaming the bartender. He says "I'll be with you ladies in a minute". 5 minutes later "what can I get y'all?" We ask if they have a drink menu and we are going to order some food to eat there and a couple orders to go. Bartender says we can order drinks with him but to go food has to be ordered at the to go area. We get up and go to the hostess stand to find out where the to go order area is and she says "I will find out in a minute but in the mean time let me help the people behind y'all". Ok. So we order online, no one inside is helpful, no managers to be found. Just a nightmare all around. We end up placing a $100+ order online but it doesn't come out on time and we are sitting in the curb side but have to walk in. Needless to say we walked into total wine next door and they were so nice and accommodating which was refreshing considering it felt as though we were in the twilight zone. I can't believe it's been so long since I've reviewed Carrabba's! This location is near my house so it was convenient for a low-key night out. My partner and I had a good time and while he loved every bite of his food, I was less than impressed with my dish. It did not taste bad, was prepared exactly how it should have been, I just didn't care for it. I ordered the Spiedino di Mare. My shrimp and scallops were mushy but the pasta was very creamy, as it should be (although a bit clumpy). The best part of the meal was my salad. And the wine. Precious glass of wine. I love that they offer 6 and 9 oz pours. Our service was okay but we did appreciate the manager coming by to make sure we'd been taken care of, which was extra special. read more

Placed a delivery order through Carrabbas.com from this location and one of the item, the Pollo Rosa Maria was missing. When I called the restaurant I was told that they don't even accept orders directly from their own website (a lie). I was then transferred to a "manager" who admitted she was not actually a manager. I was then transferred to a third person (Monica) who claimed to be an actual manager. When I explained the situation she said I'd need to request a credit through the delivery service. I again explained that the order was placed through Carrabbas.com and that the site said to call them directly. Monica then informed me that there was nothing she could do because they were "too busy," and had no explanation for why the order was screwed up. Utterly unacceptable service. read more

We went to eat here and were very disappointed. I ordered the chicken picatta and got mashed potatoes for my side. The sauce for the picatta tasted odd and had too many capers. The mashed potatoes were so disgusting, I took one bite and spit them out. My friend also got mashed potatoes for her side and said they tasted fishy. They reminded of a nasty school lunch. The bread and oil never fails. We had multiple waiters and they were very attentive. Service was not a problem! Any time a drink needed to be refilled we didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes. There wasn't a wait which seemed odd for a Friday night, but fine by us since we were hungry. Overall I wouldn't return again or recommend unless I just wanted water and bread. read more

We didn't want it because one person has not eaten now ,we also ordered a chicken Parmesan, and it took so long to come out my daughter took my car keys and went to sleep in the car. and Ribeye came out great , I had the short ribs and mash. They came out hot but all in all we did not enjoy it because we could not eat together as a family, which was the whole plan. Also we got mozzarella sticks and they was burnt. I have never, ever, had a bad meal at Carrabba's. The steaks are perfectly grilled, all of the sides are soooo good! If you've never tried their desserts, you need to. They're all so darn good. I am not a fan of Carrabba's as everything is over seasoned. I just can't imagine how much salt goes into their preparation. As it is a chain, they probably have a lot of pre-made stuff and corporate guidance to follow. I like the traditional Italian look of the dining room and the semi open kitchen. Put in my curbside order at 8:40pm and the system said my order would be ready at 9:02. By 9:20, I didn't receive a text message that my food was ready. I went in to go get it and it was just sitting there. Drink had no ice and the food was not hot. Got home to dry lasagna that was burnt on the bottom. The brownie dessert was not good at all. Just visited Carrabba's in Winston Salem. My husband and I had the bruschetta Caprese and shrimp focaccia bytes. I wish I could say the entire experience was pleasant. Unfortunately I found a piece of plastic in my food and the only thing that the the restaurant felt was necessary was a $10 gift card. I am guessing if I had swallowed the plastic they would have thought differently. Think twice before visiting. read more

Went out to Carrabbas for dinner with the family on a last minute decision. We were able to get on the waiting list so the wait wasn't too long. We were seated and ended up waiting for longer than we would have like but once our waitress got going things went great. The restaurant is nice and clean. I ordered the ribeye steak with the spicy Sicilian butter. It was honestly one of the best steaks I've had in a while. Cooked to perfection and I really like the butter sauce.
