Have heard everything great about this place. With what's going on with Coronavirus we decided to support a local restaurant instead of going out and about to get groceries. I read about Raleigh's Mac House and have been wanting to try it. My niece and I went today and loved it!! The menu is great! The owner told us that she and her staff make everything homemade, fresh, and use as many local ingredients as they can. The salad dressings are all homemade. My niece's ranch and my balsamic vinegaerette were excellent. You order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. They also deliver within a 10 mile radius, $20 minimum. The bleu cheese was minimal which was disappointing because that was what I was looking forward to most with this dish, but they are very generous with the buffalo sauce, so beware, it is very hot! My family and I are new to the area and this place is on our "Tops" list. There are many food selections in Wake Forest/Raleigh area but this place really stands out. Your taste buds will never be so happy!! Everything about this establishment is 5 star, IMO (the menu selection, serving sizes, cleanliness, customer service). There is something on the menu for everyone and the ingredients used to make the food are of great quality. The salads are super yummy and fresh if you are trying to avoid pasta (cobb is my fave). I have sampled so many things on this menu, and have never had anything that I didn't love! My two absolute favorites are the buffalo chicken mac n cheese, and the classic grilled cheese sandwich. I love that you can customize the mac n cheese. I am not a huge fan of celery, and normally have to forgo my love of anything buffalo because it includes celery. You can substitute items, add additional or remove anything you don' t like (celery for me!). They make it so easy! Portions are very generous, and even for the regular size, I normally get 2 meals out of it. The grilled cheese is so creamy it just oozes, and the bread is super fresh and big! I love that they add the seasoning to the outside of the bread, may be a parmesan cheese blend? Either way, so good! Lastly... if you are a cheesecake lover, the monthly cheesecake specials are divine. read more

This is a cool little spot. I ran through and grabbed a bite on my way to work. I was rushing so ordered my food for pickup. The girl on the phone told me it would be about 10 minutes, which was about how long it took me to get there, and it was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. When you live on the move like I do, this is important. I don't do dairy, so ordered a veagan queso mac, which was GREAT. It tasted just like the real thing- you couldn't have told me that was not real cheese! I also got a cookie for dessert, which will probably be good too. Went here after going to a bakery next door, and decided to give some Mac and cheese a try! I ordered the chicken Mac and cheese, and my boyfriend ordered the regular. Overall, it was a bit salty and a little bit oily. But, I did enjoy it. Mac and cheese is always a great comfort food and this place definitely shines on that! You can find anything and everything on that menu, mixed with Mac and cheese of course :).... But, the restaurant was spotless, the employees were exceptionally kind and helped us out with "what's a fan favorite?" , etc. I will be coming back for sure but will be sticking with the classics.
