(I called at around 4 or 5 pm on Friday -when all the other rent places seemed to be closed ) for an event the next day at noon??! Yah... I don't recommend you do that ... that's just wrong but it wasn't my party I was just helping out my dad who thought he didn't need chairs ... hmmm 50 ppl ... yah ok... One day, he promised to call me back before 8 pm, but he never did. I called the following day to inquire about the availability of a moon bounce, and he responded by saying yes, but he asked me to leave a voicemail with my name, address. He mentioned that he would be in West Roxbury between 1 and 6 pm that delivery could happen that day. Called again at 12pm no answer I left work early to ensure a smooth transition for him, and so that I wouldn't miss the possibility of delivery but when I called at 3 pm, because I didn't hear from him. I called and when he answered, he yelled at me and demanded to know what I wanted. Moonwalk was in great shape, clean and working perfectly. We also rented 4 large tables and 24 chairs. With delivery we paid $300. Upon pickup, two guys brought the chairs directly to my car and loaded them in. The reason 2 stars is the quality of the chairs. Most of them had a substantial amount of rust on the metal legs, one chair was completely missing one of the legs, and I found 2 or 3 chairs with cracks in the plastic. One chair even had gum stuck to the bottom. I rented chairs from a since-closed competitor last year and they were in pristine condition. I wouldn't order from Atent for Rent again & in the future will spend the extra money to get a better quality chair elsewhere.

He is pretty with it, but could not do mourning over zoom. We thought of using a tent in the backyard. One quick google search led me to Jim Mariano's "backyard tent rentals" business. From the minute I called him, when I was so recently bereaved, he was as helpful and caring as family. He guessed our request was for sitting shiva and offered chairs and table and tablecloth, and by the very next morning he had set up a 20x20 tent in my father's backyard, and even returned with a gift for him. I'll always be grateful to Jim for helping us out to sit shiva for my mother during these trying days of COVID-19, it has been an absolute blessing for our family, and I'm so glad we found his business and called him to rent that tent.
