This is a fantastic cafe if you're looking for a great cup of coffee. This was the best espresso we found found on our trip through several states. Being from San Francisco, my husband has a discriminating taste when it comes to coffee and he really loved this one! We got a sandwich which was ok. Great place! As local as you can get, from the owners to the food. Great coffee, tasty sandwiches. It's more expensive than a fast food hamburger, but I would expect that for local, seasonal, scratch-made fare. The breakfast is the real treat here, clocking in at $6 a plate for amazing breakfast sandwiches and French toast that you would pay double for in Spokane. I remember all too the well the dark years when the only coffee shop in town was Starbucks. I'm happy to support this little local gem and make sure they're around for a long time! read more

The food here is okay. When I confronted the staff about a food w dairy they had told me was dairy free they got very defensive and did not try to make it right. They staff here seems to be friendly until there is an issue, so it may not be the best place if you have dietary restrictions read more

Super cute breakfast spot! I was in town visiting so my friend and I ate here. Ordered the biscuits and gravy and a an iced caramel latte. Food came quickly and was hot and fresh. It's a different type of biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were buttery and the gravy had a little peppery (the spice) kick to it, but they were gracious with the serving. Iced latte was an iced latte, they put too much cream in it, but that's ok. The atmosphere is just relaxed, very cute decor. You help yourself to the silverware, water, straws, etc. read more

The hubby and I were looking for something kind of light for us to each share with the kiddos and man were we not disappointed - the whole place was nicely kept and you could tell the owners/keepers of this place are proud of it. It's a little cute corner place with awesome food. For our preference, the coffee was not on point BUT dang the food was! I shared the French Philly with my son and the au jus that came with it was some of the best we have had. It had so much flavor and was not salty! My husband shared The Club with our daughter and even though I didn't like it as much as the French Philly, they liked it. We got their seasonal salad, I think it was the Maple Pear salad and as well, it met and exceeded our expectations. For everything we got, it was pricier than we would have liked but will definitely be coming back here!! And those pickled spears they had were awesome! Our family is not really fond of pickles but these tasted like cucumber with lime which is something we often have at home. Will we be back for sure! read more

While visiting Cheney to walk around Turnbull with the dogs, we were looking for something quiet with good fresh food and beer. The Mason Jar seemed to be an option based on reviews. So, we arrived 30 minutes before closing on a quiet Sunday and the folks behind the counter were fairly efficient and very friendly. We ordered 2 panini: one hickory smoked ham with cheddar and sauteed onions on thick wheat (fantastic/delicious sandwich) and a caprese with pesto, provolone and some greens on facacia (very good). Limited beer selection but something for almost anyone (I had a Big Sky IPA, but they had Black Butte Porter, 2 other craft beer brands plus Crispin Cider). If we go down to Cheney again, we'd go back to The Mason Jar. read more

The college workers greeted us with bright, shining smiles and happily made a drink specific to my requests. They were very busy but that did not keep them from being exceptionally welcoming and personable. The Mediterranean sandwich blew my mind as well as my extra sweet caramel coffee. The desserts are unique and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to this friendly joint! The only downside might be lack of comfy chairs, but I suppose it's not big enough to harbor comfy guests for long periods of time. read more

Watch for musicians showing their talent in this lovely coffee shop. Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and the decoration is wonderful and calming, with warm lighting that is ideal for a morning coffee, or a nice date, or for me, a wonderful place to do my writing. The food is acceptable. Should cost half what they are charging. Typical wannabe sandwich fare. Nothing daring, but it is warm at least. Also, their internet doesn't work because they have an improperly configured dhcp. So if you have Windows 10, pick somewhere else for food. But waste of my time because the waitress tried to Insinuate my computer was the problem and wouldn't even restart the router, which solves problems like that 90% of the time. read more
