The Mason Jar is one of the best things to come to the little college town that is Cheney, WA. With locally grown ingredients, weekly live music, and a laid-back atmosphere, it has brought a sense of home to the downtown area. My personal favorite drink is the iced vanilla chai tea - this combined with one of their toasted cheese bagels, and I'm guaranteed to have a great day. If you're looking to catch up with some friends, work on your homework, or listen to some local talent on a Thursday night, The Mason Jar is the place for you. read more

Being a college student, coffee is vital for so many reasons. The Mason Jar is so cute, don't get me wrong, great people and awesome atmosphere. They incorporate students and locals in events, it's so great. Sadly, I don't go here for the coffee. They don't serve iced/blended drinks and in the hot East side weather, that can be a little off-putting. In fall/winter, this place is a godsend, a great place to study while not locking yourself in a library cubicle. Can't argue with the adorable atmosphere, though! read more
