This review is long overdue.. The Mason Jar has been a favorite destination for bike riders who ride from Spokane along the Fish Lake Trail from Spokane to Cheney. There is wonderful far of refreshing cool cucumber water at no cost for thirsty traveler/biker riders which hits the spot on a warm day. There is coffee and other beverage choices like orange juice too. It is like an oasis for the bicycle groups and travelers. There are several wonderful fresh baked goods to reenergize the rider and portions are large. There is a restroom too and it is often a welcomed sight and on a warm day one can splash the face too for a refreshing and cooling comfort prior to departure. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is a small outside patio area too as the cafe can reach capacity seating, especially if a group of people come. read more

First time going to the Mason Jar, ordered a club sandwich and a coconut milk latte. Both- hella dank. It's a shame I'm four hours away

So far their coffee has been a little hit-and-miss for me, varying greatly based on who's making it (the owners are the best). The sweets I've tried have been great, especially the cookies and cakes, but their quiche was just ok. The real stars of the menu are the breakfast and lunch items. The Tuscana sandwich with homemade aioli and a fried egg on fresh focaccia is life-changing. I would absolutely recommend you go to The Mason Jar. I had a stale almond croissant and am expensive cup of drip coffee. The coffee was pretty good although it took them 10 minutes to pour it. My croissant was so stale my 13yo son wouldn't eat it. I have been here about ten times now and there is not enough room here to fit the overwhelmingly positive experiences I have had here, by myself and with company. You are paying for quality, but I rarely spend over $10 for a sandwich and coffee and I leave perfectly satisfied. I had a slight hangover today and ordered to go. When my boyfriend went to pick our order up, he called saying Mason Jar was, heartbreakingly, out of salmon for my ordered lox bagel. I decided on a Continental breakfast sandwich instead. It was delightful! I chose to get my hot sauce on the side, but to my surprise it actually was the perfect addition to the Continental. The staff were also kind enough to discount our order since they didn't have my originally ordered sandwich. I continue to fall harder and more in love with Mason Jar.
