It was served with black rice (good) and roasted carrots (good) and a carrot puree (really good but not enough on the plate). My dining companion got the scallops, and they were even more expensive than the salmon. $48 for TWO scallops. Ok, they are large, and well-cooked, and came with a lovely vegetable mix and couscous, but that's a lot of $ for Spokane. We are from CA and that's even a shocker for us. Dessert: they had recently added a banana pudding, which was good. It replaced a chocolate dessert--and that was a bad move because there is no intense chocolate on the menu. We also tried the coconut cake with lemon curd. There was not enough curd; it was barely a tang. The cake itself was a little dry. It is served with house-made ice cream, which balances the dryness but the cake should be good on its own. Apparently, this is their most popular dessert. I am a chocolate-first person.
