Very few restaurants and bars carry pineapple cider anymore, but this must've been my lucky night because they did so I enjoyed one of those. I asked for recommendations and not only did the bartender give me recommendations but so did some customers sitting at the bar. It sounds like everything is pretty good, although some better than others. I went out on my own and tried the Creamy Chicken Cajun Pasta and fried pickles. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that my main dish came out before my appetizer. I never like when that happens, but whatever. This pasta dish was by far the best I've ever had anywhere, ever! So creamy, not spicy at all for a Cajun dish, and the chicken was fall apart delicious. The fried pickles were heavily breaded when I was told that they were lightly breaded, but they were still good. I will probably never be in this area again to ever come back to eat here but if you're in the area or even 30 minutes away, it is well worth the drive!

The side of grits comes in a small bowl which is a good portion for one person and the pancakes were humongous - a very good size for two pancakes and golden brown... I ended up sharing with my wife. We were very happy with the service that they gave us and one of the managers came around to see if everything was good or if we needed anything and we really appreciated that. This is a very down to earth place where it feels like home. It's a great place to bring the family, and we did see a lot of people with their kids, but, we also saw couples like myself and my wife sharing some good coffee or sweet tea and loving life. We are definitely coming back because I wanna try the teriyaki chicken plates and I'm very interested in the shrimp and scallops.

My husband and I happened on this GEM by chance when we were in the area. Knew it had to be good because the parking lot was full. The service was super fast and everyone was so nice. Good Southern Friendly atmosphere. The food was AMAZING!! We got 2 pies to go. The only thing I found that was not delicious was the Coconut Cream Pie. Presentation was great but the flavors were not there. We will be back though we have already planned a trip to visit, just for the food. :o) read more

When we were in there, we kept noticing that there was a child that was literally just walking around, touching every single freaking table that was vacant and cleaned, and the parents weren't doing a damn thing about it, but touching all over each other and ignoring their children, and the dad spent the majority of his time on his phone. Be a better parent and engage with your children and keep an eye on your children and again that part does not affect the rate of this restaurant.
