My friends and I went to see Atsuko Okatsuka. We sat in balcony 3, row 11. This was the last row but honestly the view was still great. For a comedy show, I think any seat at this venue is a great seat. Checking in was a cluster F*. Once again we all entered through the basement. It felt cramped. Good thing the show started late because we were in line for a good 20 minutes. When we got upstairs we saw people entering through the street entrance with no lines. They must have been VIP or something. The staff at the bar were nice. The $22 cocktail with shaker had a good amount of alcohol in it and the souvenir cup was nice. It was $60 for parking at the venue. But we parked across the street at the Grace Cathedral garage for the same price and we didn't have to wait long to get in or out of that garage.

Long bar tables in front of rows 1,5,9.

Came here last night for the Sarah McLachlan Better Broken Tour. Instead of parking at the Masonic, we parked at the Sutter Stockton Garage a few blocks away. It's only $6 per hour before 6pm, and $5 per hour after that. It's only a 12-min walk away, but it was quite hilly. Fortunately, my knees didn't fail me last night. The concert was sold out on Ticketmaster, but we managed to get tickets for Floor 1 Row 9 from SeatGeek. The event was very well organized. We even got an email from Live Nation Concerts a few days before the event about what to expect at the venue. The Masonic had a mid-century modern feel. The view from Floor 1 wasn't bad. We're glad that we picked the side Sarah would be facing when she was seated at the piano. I liked that they had tiered floor levels and rows 1, 5, and 9 had long bar tables in front of them where you could put your phones or drinks. So convenient! Also, we weren't blocked at all by the rows in front of us because of the raised floor. Overall, it's a nice cozy venue, and we enjoyed the concert!

Great location and there's no bad seat in the house! Been here for a few comedy shows (Ali Wong, Ronny Chieng), for work, for concerts (James Arthur, Laufey...), and they have a great variety of performers and speakers (Michelle Obama!) I love the staff! Very helpful and friendly as they direct traffic and people to their seats. Good acoustics and drinks. General admission offers railings you can lean and stand on. Take the cable car or take the 1 Muni here. Or the 2 or the 38 Geary tbh!

Saw James Arthur here, definitely a relatively smaller venue, service was also just OK.

The Masonic auditorium is amazing!! So beautiful. James Arthur was performing at the Masonic June 3rd. Seats were wonderful!! The staff were great! Thank you for a wonderful evening. Carla L

First time at this venue. Inside is beautiful!!! I was amazed by the stain glass windows Like WOW There is a full bar, ATM and credit cards are accepted. Every employee we came across was very professional and polite Restrooms are clean and well kept Our seats were in perfect view of the entertainers My tickets were FREE but I was told regular price was $250 per ticket Parking was $40 and low key kinda mad I paid for parking because no one even checked if we paid for the parking or not we literally just drove out BUT better safe than sorry At the end of the day I'm glad I had the opportunity to come to this venue We came We were entertained On to the next adventure.....

Nice venue, but.... They take the no phones policy a bit too far. Should allow folks to use until the lights go out. Sound for John Mulaney was up and down, but overall a fun time and great show.

I live here for a long time, but it's my first time to come to here for the concert. Absolutely amazing place but downside, If you are big person you won't be comfortable seating the chair,

I've been here for several concerts and shows over the years, including: 1. Evanescence on the Synthesis tour with a full orchestra 2. Ali Wong on her Milk and Money tour when she was still married to her husband (RIP marriage, it broke so many Asian-Americans' hearts when they divorced) 3. Babymetal and Dethklok as co-headliners. It's a bit of a walk here from bart, with quite an uphill hike with lots of stairs. I prefer to take Bart and walk instead of driving. A Lyft from Bart is also a nice alternative. It's across the street from Grace Cathedral.

First time at the Masonic to see Phantogram, and after one show, I think the Masonic is definitely in my top tier for music venues in the Bay. From the production value, stage lights, acoustics, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. We had GA floor seats and were able to get a spot behind the engineering booth, which was pretty dope because we had an unobstructed view. There's a little ledge you could put drinks on, so if you like being close but still want space, get here early to snag a spot. For food and drinks, they had a huge bar with plenty of bartenders. Tall cans were $17 and their classic margaritas came in a souvenir shaker cup for $22. The whole place smelled like fries, which isn't a bad thing, bc the food stall sells fries, a sandwich, and hummus for snacks. Overall, really enjoyed my first visit to the Masonic and wouldn't hesitate to visit again when an artist im into is performing there.

I've been to the Masonic a couple times now and both experiences were great shows. We ended up paying $50 for parking at the Masonic ahead of the latest show and there was some confusion with the attendants on how to scan us in- our instructions said to hold our phone near the scanner, but they wanted us to have a QR code- eventually we got in though. The security was efficient and because I had a small bag I had to go through a longer line and have my bag searched, but it didn't take too much extra time. The concessions were pretty basic, but there were drinks and some snacks available. We ended up buying a $6 Plain, Flat, Liquid Death. I will note that a staff member took it from us on our way out because we didn't finish it- I'm not sure if she thought it was a beer or what, but other people left with their half finished drinks so we were a bit confused. On our latest visit we were there for a comedy show and were sat in the second row, the seats were all fold out chairs with no armrests or cup holders. We got very cozy with our neighbors and I found myself leaning into my husband the whole show trying to give the man next to me some space. The audio, lighting and actual show were great though and because we parked on P4 with an exit option to keep going down instead of back up we didn't get stuck in the parking garage for too long. Overall, there are some things that could be improved but both experiences have been good and I would go back again.

Came to the SF Masonic for an event. Had to leave the venue to go and escort someone to their Uber and they would not let me re-enter. I had tickets to the event playing at the venue that evening and they still would not let me re-enter. It didn't matter that I had tickets to the event and the event had only been going for a few minutes, they didn't care. I do not recommend buying tickets to anything at this venue.

(I think) I've only seen one concert here (The Jesus and Mary Chain and Psychedelic Furs--who knew *both* were Scottish?), so take this review as you should. I really want to see more shows here, and I'm scheduled to. The interior of the performance space itself is so strange. Do yourself a favor and arrive early so that you can see it with all the lights on. It almost feels like you've been zapped a la Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and are enjoying a concert inside some 1950s-era avant-garde piece of furniture, like a lamp or a dresser. The physical look of the interior of the place, including the crazy mosaic, is five stars all the way. I don't understand why the entrances are so confusing, or why there are so many ways to get to the same parts of the building--this translates into it being very easy to get lost, which my brother and I did. It's right at the top of Nob Hill, so it's difficult to walk to. Once you're up here, there plenty of things to explore, like Grace Cathedral and Huntington Park. A rare easily walkable dining option nearby is Nob Hill Cafe (review forthcoming), which I've been to and enjoyed a couple of times. At least for this concert, they started right on time, and it can take a while to make your way to your seats, so be sure to build extra time into your schedule if you want to see the entire show. I have a feeling this review is going up to five stars after a few more shows, but for now, an extremely high four stars it is.

Do the box seats have obstructed views?

I was sitting in the higher orchestra and I could see pretty good. No obstruction.

I'm going to a religious concert there this Sunday are kids allowed? And since strollers are not allowed what about a car seat? I got seats in Box F3?

    Hi please email SFMasonic@livenation.com

Do they allow strollers in this venue?

Hello Tony, Thank you for reaching out to the Masonic. Strollers are not allowed in the venue.

VIP Box seats are located on the uppermost tier of the GA Floor level (the same level as the stage but further away and raised up above the sections in front of you). There are normally four seats to a box, occasionally six. Box ticket holders…

What are the COVID protections while attending a concert? Proof of vaccine? Are they requiring masks?

We were there in March. I'm pretty sure masks are optional and no Covid proof required.

We purchased California room tickets for Ray Lamontagne, where is the entrance to go in? And prepaid parking, where is the parking garage/lot?

Do you have any insight on the California room?

Can you bring in a backpack?

The prior answer that says you can is 2 years old I went to seated concert on 11/20. You cannot take in any bags/backpacks. They will make you check any purse that isn't really small, almost like a purse wallet. They still check all bags. You…

Do they serve any food at venue?

Yes, they do serve food at Masonic. Tacos, burritos, and snacks.

    How much to park?

Hi! It depends on where you want to park. I think we paid $35 the last time we parked at the Masonic. I'd suggest using an app like ParkWhiz to see your nearby options. :) Also, when we were leaving, traffic was a mess at the Masonic. Some friends…

Does The Masonic have a coat check?

    Yes

Purchased California room Tix for August 14, 2018 what can I expect?

I'm going to see Niall Horan here next week. Is there a designated parking area? If not where is a good place to park?

There is a parking garage under the venue. There is additional parking in the parking garage under Grace Cathedral across the street.

I'm going to see Niall Horan on the 22nd of Nov! I want to bring a camera are they allowed?

Usually a non-professional camera (with exchangeable lens) is allowed unless they stipulated otherwise for the concert.

For a comedy show, if you purchase floor tickets are you still standing or are there chairs down there?

For a comedy show, there are assigned seats.

I've attended multiple events at Dominic's Catering over the years--from intimate gatherings of around 40 people to large events with over 200 guests, including parties, funerals, holiday celebrations, and family events. Every experience has been outstanding. The food is consistently delicious. I've enjoyed everything from simple buffet-style meals to elegant prime rib dinners complete with sorbet palate cleansers between courses. They truly offer options for every budget, and you definitely get what you pay for. One of my favorite memories was a New Year's Eve party. After an incredible prime rib dinner and a night of dancing, they surprised everyone just after midnight with a complimentary sandwich-making station to help soak up the alcohol before guests headed home. It was such a thoughtful touch that everyone appreciated. Their Mother's Day and Father's Day brunches are also fantastic. The food is always excellent, and they have plenty of seating for large groups. Even when we've made last-minute plans, they've been incredibly accommodating. The venue itself is another huge plus. The space can be transformed to fit almost any theme. I've attended everything from elegant quinceañeras to fun jungle-themed celebrations, and each event felt completely unique. Their room rental fees are also much more reasonable than many other venues, allowing you to spend more of your budget on decorations--or simply save the money. Parking is free and plentiful, which is a huge convenience for guests. Most importantly, the staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly, professional, and attentive, making every event feel special. I will absolutely continue hosting my family's celebrations at Dominic's Catering and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and an affordable, versatile event venue. Comes with fries that weren't bad, not as crispy as I'd like but not too greasy either. Got sort of crowded in the main seating area when I left around 12:30 but wasn't bad when i arrived at 11:45. Also they have good amount of outside seating, too, so I think you can bring pets. But this does cater to the workers in the area so didn't see any pets while I was there and the Market Hall is only open weekdays from 11-2.

Here is why you should book your next event here: Incredible Responsiveness: Carlos responded to my inquiry almost immediately and hopped on a call with me the same day to iron out the details. He made a high-stress situation feel completely manageable. Accommodating & Flexible: Even with our last-minute request, he was so generous with the timing. He allowed us to come in early at 2:00 PM to set up flowers and told us there was "no rush" to leave, letting our group stay and enjoy a drink before our dinner reservation. The Space is Stunning: We held our ceremony upstairs in a beautiful, dry, and welcoming space featuring a gorgeous mural.
