    Poached salmon

Was a little slower on this Saturday night so was able to get a table without a wait. The salmon was excellent. The wife had the chicken something. Ordered the seafood dip for an app and the kitchen messed it up so was served with the entrees.

What an amazing dining experience! The food was amazing. Well seasoned, great flavor! The service was also great. We tried the scotch eggs, which were balanced, not too much sausage to egg ratio. The chili was salty sweet and had a kick. We also had the chicken and waffles with the Mac and cheese. The waffles were crisp and soft the chicken was moist and well seasoned. The Mac and cheese was full of flavor. We also had a peach old fashioned to check out the mixed drinks. As with everything else it was spot on. 100% recommend.

TMH Meatloaf with house made red sauce glaze. What a joke.

When we moved to Greenville two years ago we loved The Merchant House. Food was fresh, delicious, beautifully plated, even when they were extremely busy at times. Things have changed, things have been changing. Food became cheaper quality and just meh. Tonight we went out for dinner. Husband had TMH Meatloaf, inside was cold, instead of red sauce glaze a bunch of sauce was literally dumped on it. Pictures for reference. I had The Yard Bird, pictures for reference, i couldn't believe when I got my plate. Does that looks appealing?! It all tasted like fresh mustard. Parmesan fries tasted like old nasty oil. Oh well...

Chicken and waffles from here are fire!!! They do great whatever you get; the pizza, the monte cristo, soups, and all. The whole menu looks great and I want to try more, but it's so hard to pass on their chicken and waffles. Plus the old building is really cool, staff is always friendly and they have a great drinks selection. Note: if your going for pizza it will take a little longer to make, but it is well worth the wait!

The Hobo Bowl: Fried chicken, bacon gravy, mashed potatoes, fried onion strips and corn on top of Texas toast

I feel like I should go to confession this morning because anything that tasted as good as the meal I had at The Merchant House in Greenville, Ohio has got to be a sin. I got The Hobo Bowl, but don't let the name fool you ... this meal was fit for a king. It was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, fried onion strips and cheese piled high on Texas toast and smothered in thick bacon gravy. My taste buds owe me this morning for giving them such a treat. One of the best meals I've ever had. The atmosphere was casual and fun, while our server was an absolutely cheerful delight. Can't wait to go back again the next time the Troy Trojans play the Greenville Green Wave in a sporting event!

The atmosphere is fabulous. We started with southwest rolls which are out of this world. Husband had southern patty melt w fries, along with barley soup. The brisket patty did not disappoint and the soup was excellent. I had the fish n chips made of cod, fries, apple coleslaw, and onion soup. I will say, the soup was to die for. However, the cod coating was somewhat bland but the cod itself was great. The apple coleslaw wasn't to my taste, but I'm not going to say it was bad. Overall, the experience was fantastic and would love to come back. Our waitress, Telisha, was wonderful as well.

    More underdone breading than fish

We came on a Saturday night. Didn't seem too busy only a couple and a group of 6 ahead of us. Was told it would be 40min wait, ok not too bad. Well that should have been our first indication! After 1hr and 25 min we finally got seated at a table!!! Our waiter was awesome!!! He was on it every step of the way. We order poutine and the pretzel appetizers. First off pretzel was fabulous!!! Now the poutine was just ok. We are used to the traditional poutine in Canada, just our opinion!! Someone order the prime rib chili, they said there was no real chili taste to it. He was upset that who ever made it got quite a few pieces of bone fragments in it. Said that was appealing to him. Our entrees were prime rib, fish and chips and burger. The burger was great cooked the right way didn't care for bread and butter pickles on it, but I just removed them. The prime rib was great, had it finished on the grill. Not used to such a thin cut of meat but tasted great. The fish and chips was a let down for me. More mushy breading on the inside than fish! Substituted waffle fries for the Parmesan fries...so so. I could have used more garlic. Did try the ranch dressing. Seemed to me to be a homemade buttermilk dressing. Was on the sour side and very watery. Not a fan at all. Desserts they were out of so no review there!!! So for everything that we experienced it was not worth the hour and a half wait to try this restaurant. It will be a long while before we attempt to try it again with so many great places to eat around the area. For us 40min to get there to eat made a very long night.

This place has the best food in town and an awesome spinach dip. It looses one star for price but is a nice atmosphere.

Our party of four ordered four different drinks - and then everyone so much loved their choice, we all reordered the exact same drink for round two. I'd give the bar list and bartender 5 stars. We sampled 3 different flatbreads. Two of them lacked flavor, one was not crispy, but very undercooked. I've seen this complaint more than a few times in reviews so it seems like something they'd address. Snack mix was good. Crostini delicious. Salad nice - although one small piece of avocado on what was billed as an avocado and blackberry salad was a disappointment. I'd rate the food 3 stars. Overall we enjoyed the vibe, the drinks and the mellow live music.

No, it's RoHo's, as in the first two letters of the owners' names: Rogers and Howell. Clever! When I visited RoHo's, the place was hopping. It was comedy night, and I could barely find a seat. I ended up sitting on a couch with three women I didn't know, but they were people who were beautiful and amazing, and did amazing things in the community. I lucked out! The service here is so efficient and friendly. Despite the crush of people, I managed to get my French 77 quickly. It was well balanced and very tasty, and made me feel so much better about being surrounded by strangers. Mostly, though, RoHo's specializes in martinis. The entrance to RoHo's is unassuming, so you might miss it if you're not looking sharp. So, look sharp!

You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.
