SCAM! One star is far too many. This coaching program is extremely over priced and has not fulfilled anything they sold me on. Within the short two months I've been with them, my call has been canceled without noticed by my coach. I reached out to the Mike Ferry team letting them know I've had two canceled calls, my inquiry was ignored. Once my coach went on vacation and second my coach canceled due to a "migraine". On the calls my coach does make it to, she has not fulfilled the zoom but has rather called on the phone. Which I don't find has effective as zoom. During our calls my coach doesn't offer any coaching. I'm asked what my plan for the week is and then left trying to fill the other 29 minutes of awkwardness. Each day Mike ferry sends a motivational email which is subpar at the very best. Every script they send you are scripts you can find online for free. So for $750 a month you are offered nothing more than what you can find online. I recently had a baby and sent a doctor's note. I was told I could not put coaching on hold for two months and have continued to be charged. I urge you to not spend your money on this program! Just another real estate SCAM! read more

I am here to tell you that the Mike Ferry Organization (MFO) is a scam. My experience with them was horrible. If you are a new agent, BEWARE of the ONE on ONE coaching program. Don't fall for it because if it doesn't work for you, you will not be able to cancel. They will force you to pay for the full year. Moreover, I have had to change my coach 4 times, with still the same results. The contract only works in favor of Mike Ferry. I will not recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your money. Be aware that if you stop making payments they will threaten you and ultimately put the collection department after you. I've been attending Mike Ferry events as a guest for the past year and I can honestly say that the skills I have learned have served me well in my job as a real estate agent, an office manager and a recruiter. I've been in sales and sales management for 10 years now in startup companies and Forbes 100 companies and am extremely impressed with the extent to which this coaching program drives salespeople to sell. "It's simple, but it's not easy." A common cliche in the sales world that many managers can use to motivate people to take action and increase productivity. I've heard the phrase echoed to death but never understood the finer details of what it takes to master simplicity. After the two-day workshop, I humbly apologize on behalf of me and my cocky self. I recently attended their managment training workshop. My attended with a moderate level of skepticism as I have always been capable of memorizing a script, making it my own, ON MY OWN. But what I quickly learned was how intensive and hands on the coaches Cydney, Tom, John, Lindsey and Jason could be. Every intonation of every word, and every pause I made was scrutinized by one of those coaches with purpose and meaning. I was not only shown what things I was doing wrong, more importantly, I was shown why it was wrong, what I can do better and why something else works better. As an analytical personality, these types of coachings are extremely beneficial. This training is multiple levels beyond downloading a script, memorizing it and making it your own. By far the best Real Estate coaching company out there! It's not by accident either. It is said that after doing something for 20 years you become a master... well, double it. I've been in sales since I got out of high school and after trying out a bunch of "shiny objects" the reality is that going back to basics and hard work are the key to success. Problem in our industry now is that you get a Lic. and become a Realtor in a couple of months and a few hundred dollars and think you know how to generate and manage your busienss. First of all, they WILL come after you financially fast and hard if you somehow don't complete your training you sign up for. A friend of mine signed up for coaching and had a terrible financial thing happen to his family (no fault of his) The Mike Ferry Organization could not have been less sensitive. He tried to work with them and they were closed off, took to ruining him financially instead. Mike was at a meeting recently I attended. There were not enough chairs for everyone to sit who came to the meeting he was invited to. His enormous ego came into play, he stopped talking, told the women in the back they HAD to sit and forced a woman in her 60s and another in her 50s to sit on the floor. He throws insults out at agents and they don't even realize it. Why would you support him? His son Tom does a much better job. STAY AWAY from Mike Ferry! Bottom line effective real estate sales training. It works if you take seriously what they teach & put in the work. To most it may seem like every "other" real estate coaching company however a BIG HOWEVER, this is the only system that teaches you how to grow without having to spend on expensive Zillow leads etc. 1yr of premier coaching is equivalent to just 1 transaction in most states. My associate is a top producing agent and used Mike Ferry throughout his professional career. After one year under his wing and with enough money, he pushed me to signup for the coaching program. I was reluctant at first because like many of you, I was looking at the $8,000 or $12,000 price tag and was nervous. I ended up signing up for one-on-one coaching for $8,000 and paid it all upfront to help me budget better -- I did not want to worry about having the monthly payment if there was a slowdown. I wanted to know it was paid for and that I would always have the coaching. My goal signing up for Mike Ferry was to focus on expireds. The dream is to be so good at expireds that I do not have to do open houses and I can use that time to spend with my future family or if I remain single, just continue being a professional 'playa' ;) My coach is named Mitch and he is out in Tulare and he is great. I did not get a deal directly from calling expireds and closing them yet, but I have made some great headway; including getting a $385,000 listing using the one minute Mike Ferry Presentation. The coaching program has really changed how I prospect. I USED to think I was a good prospector, but now that I am in coaching, I realize what the top producing agents do and I realize that I paled in comparison. Had I not done coaching, I would have never found out. What is it? I contact 30-50 owners per day and then I visit actives and expired and door knock the 10 around them. The coaching program is really for accountability and for fine tuning. There is really a lot to learn and as my coach told me, 'Even with hard work, it will take about 1.5 years to really incorporate the Mike Ferry system' Has it been frustrating for me? Of course! Am I happy with my progression? Yes. Do I want things to happen faster? Definitely. I went to a prospecting school recently and at the time, I had been calling expireds unsuccessfully for going on 9 months. They said that it really takes about 10,000 hours to be really good at something. This really helped me keep in perspective my progression. Do know that the buck does not end at signing up for coaching. When you do signup for coaching, you will be 'strongly encouraged' to attend all the events. At first, I was like, this is a SCAM!!! But after going to the events, I see how it is helping me to become a better agent. So if you are thinking about joining, think about budgeting another $5k on-top of the coaching price to help you make the events and be ready to clear your schedule. After you go to a couple events, you will realize that its the same thing over and over. I think of it a lot like basketball. Its a lot about mastery of the fundamentals. You master the fundamentals and you will make a ton of money or score a lot of points, irrespective of if you can do a reverse double hand jam. My goal is to do Premier coaching for $12,000... why? Well, even though the coaching is the same at one-on-one, the big thing is that when you are in Premier you wear the ribbon. Who gives a fuck about the ribbon, but what is key is that at every event when you have that ribbon on, other top premier agents will be more receptive towards helping you out and being a role play partner. This is *key* to getting ahead. The old saying is true, 'Birds of a feather, flock together' You want to get in with that in crowd because they are the people that will take you to the six and seven figure earnings bracket. In fact, the biggest reason why I go to the events is more to network with top agents that are going someplace and that are making it happen. There are tons of agents struggling with negative mindsets. That does not help me and it will not help you. Find agents that have done it and they will show you. In the events, you will hear Mike ask people, 'How many years have you been in coaching?' And its all kinda bullshit because his events are really a giant commercial for his coaching programs, but you know what? Its all true. What he says is true. You need to get to a point where his coaching is money you use to wipe your ass and is basically just a cost of doing business. Think of it this way, if you were a plane and you were flying from LAX to Tokyo, coaching is the same as the GPS, they constantly tell you those small points to turn until you get to Tokyo. Without GPS, is like many of you without coaching, you have an 'idea' of what you need to do and have heard what you need to do. Much of which is the 'same shit' but you are not executing and you are not around people that can help you get past some of the usual obstacles. Remember, its all about modeling. Finding somebody that is doing what you want and getting the results you want and doing EXACTLY what they do. How they move, how they say, how they operate. That aside, the only question left is... are you coachable? read more

I joined in September of last year and for the first few months, I felt it was helpful. After those months, it just became "MAKE YOUR CALLS". This program is very expensive for someone to just tell you to make your calls. The calls that they want you make are done with very archaic scripts that sellers will reveal to you they have heard from many other agents before you. I knew I was stuck in my contract, so I continued with the coaching. I was undecided if I would continue after my contract expiration, purely for the accountability aspect. Needless to say, I did not extend. I was issued a new credit card in July, so the payment was denied. A woman by the name of Sara Brandenburg(or something like that) hounded me for payment and made it seem like I was some sort of felon. By the way, I made the payment for July and August on August 8th. She was extremely rude and showed ZERO customer service, so I told her was not going to extend my contract. She could care less. Bad business. My coach was very nice and really tried to help, but was forced to stick to the "make your calls" mindset. HOWEVER, once he found that I was not going to continue with coaching, he vanished! So I am stuck paying $650 this month for a service from the MFO that that I am not receiving. Very childish. I expected more from him than that. If you live in a smaller town, I could maybe see this format working. If you live in a larger town that is more technology focused with more savvy Sellers, I would suggest looking elsewhere for support. read more

Do not sign up for coaching. You cannot cancel and it isn't what you think it is. After signing up I was told there would 40 coaching calls for 30 minutes each. After 7 months I told them, I do not want to continue coaching and do not charge any of my credit cards. They said I could not cancel and they continue to charge my credit card $650/month. The 30-minute calls are no help at all. The coach will ask about your transactions only to determine how much your commissions will be and when you will get them so they can sell you more of their services such as their seminars which are infomercials to sell their coaching. The money you pay them would be much better spent on marketing to get listings. Their current coaching program is $500/month for 6 months and then $650/month for 6 months for a total of $6,900.00 which is $345 per hour. You will be very disappointed and when you try to cancel you will find out they are not nice people. read more

I joined coaching over ten years ago (have been an agent for 11 1/2 years), and it has been very worthwhile both professionally and financially. I attend 3-4 training's a year with the Mike Ferry Organization, and all the training's are excellent. I am on a month to month basis regarding payment, and feel it is worth $1000.00 a month. My coaches have been top notch and I do believe that I would not have made it through the tougher years if it was not for this organization. Mike tells it like it is, and it is hard work. As a side note, I have met some of the most incredible real estate agents through this organization. We network through mastermind groups, accountability and role play partners.
