Alright, let me clear my throat before this review. So listen up heres a story, about a little hole in the wall thats full of good food, and all day and all night all I can think about is their food, inside and out side... I had their double cheese burger and it is of mammoth proportions. I mean just look at the picture. You literally almost have to get it in half because it's to big for your mouth. If you're passing through, this place is a must try. You won't regret it.

We just moved to Walnut Cove and we are so glad that this was our first stop for food. Fast, friendly service and some amazing home cookin! Consider us regulars!

Stopped in and asked "if I could only come here this one time, what would you want me to try?" "The cheeseburger, or the cheesesteak" was the reply. I opted for the cheesesteak, with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard. I've eaten many cheesesteaks, many places (including Gino's and Pat's). This was one of the best, ever. Spectacular. Service was attentive and friendly, too. Highly recommended.

After hearing several townspeople praising it, my Grandson Cameron and myself tried it after hiking at Hanging Rock. Cameron had the breakfast burger and I had the catfish dinner with fried okra, cabbage and hush puppies. Both dishes were delicious as we shared with each other. The catfish was lightly breaded and full of flavor as was the fried okra, the hush puppies were as good as any I've ever eaten. The breakfast burger was also very flavorful and cooked to order. We told the grill man and owner, Jerry, how very good everything was. He and his daughter both were both so friendly and cheerful. Great food, good prices and very nice people, what's not to like? I highly recommend if you're near Hanging Rock State Park and are looking for a good meal. We will be back!

While we were in the line the staff were taking time to get to know the guests which I thought was a great service touch. I got the NY Cheesecake Stacker and wow. It was good. It was A LOT, portion-wise, which is never a bad thing. Flavor was great. It wasn't as aggressively sweet you think. This was a fun place to try. Staff and guests were in good spirits, it was clean, there was a fun playlist going, just an overall good experience.

We were welcomed in by staff, who was very friendly. They offer a massive selection of ice cream flavors, which makes it tough to pick. They offer something for everyone including dairy free options (including vegan options), as well as classic flavors, fruity flavors, and their own concoctions! In addition, they offer unlimited toppings to be added at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!!! Still stuffed from dinner, I got a "single" cup, which they actually allow you to put up to (2) favors in. I decided to to go with (2) of their original creations, getting the Peanut Butter Cookies & Cream, and the Salty Caramel Brownie, to top it off, i got a chocolate drizzle, sprinkles and whipped cream. WOW! Don't let the size of the cup fool you, they pack it, full, and have overflowing. They don't skimp. The ice cream was absolutely delicious, so rich and full of flavor. The space is very relaxed with plenty of seating, as well as games for people to enjoy while visiting. Another nice touch, the cashier gave us a bottle of water on the house. In addition to cups and cones, they also offer milkshakes, ice cream tacos made to your liking, and so much more. Hands down, this has got to be the best spot in the Triad to get a nice sweet treat! As the days are warming up, I'm looking forward to going back!

The young lady behind the counter the evening of our visit was kind, professional and helpful. We had a couple questions about the whats and hows, she answered them with a smile. There is no real area to sit and eat here, so its mostly take it and go. A handful of benches but no table tops. We ordered a couple "hunks" of pizza (basically a quarter of a pie) and ice cream with a soda and tea. Simple easy and inexpensive. We sat on the outside bench while she prepared our pizzas, once ready the buzzer went off and I retrieved our boxed quarter pies from the service window. She made our ice creams in just a couple minutes and we were on our way back to our place. I keep forgetting to pay attention to the actual price to write it in a review, but I always remember that it is absolutely dirt cheap. I'm thinking somewhere in the $5 or less range. And they fill UP that small. I'm generally a "would order a banana split and eat it all myself" type of person, but the small does not leave me unsatiated. My combination of choice is cake batter fro-yo with pie cherries, Oreos, and cookie dough. They layer the toppings in, so it's not just piled up on top -- you get ice cream, toppings, more ice cream, more toppings, and a little dollop of ice cream artfully extruded right on top. And as a bonus, a note on the cookie dough: it isn't those little dry balls of dough you normally see at the self-serve fro-yo bars. It is the Pillsbury "eat or bake" (safe to eat raw) cookie dough that comes in the tub. They pull a giant tub out from under the counter and serve you a very generous scoop of it. Staff are nothing but friendly and helpful when I've been. Interior is super spacious and relatively clean -- tons of tables, and I've never touched something sticky.
