Miami Short Ribs and Tuna Tartare

It's in a prime spot, perfect for office workers, tourists, and residents, same with the Fox next door. The food here is okay; it might surprise you if you're not expecting too much. They renovated in 2022, but the inside still kept an old-fashioned style. Prices have gone up since they also updated the menu. We tried the Miami Short Ribs, which were tasty but a bit greasy. They could improve the presentation by draining off some of the oil. The Tuna Tartare was good, and the Prime Rib Dip was decent, though you might find a better one for the same price outside of downtown. Their Baby Gem Salad was fresh, with pear and candied walnuts adding a nice touch. It's a decent green mix, but again you might find better quality salads uptown for a similar price. Service was average, but I liked the chill vibe, after all, it's rare to find a quiet spot downtown, so that's a big plus. Dropped in here while walking around Toronto. A lively and comfortable atmosphere! The blueberry old fashioned was a great cocktail with the right touch of blueberry to not over sweeten. Service was great and wished I had had more time to try some food too.

I love coming by here for a cocktail on their patio during the summer! Their fish n chips are hands-down the best in the downtown core! Get the fries well done if you like the extra crisp!

An outstanding meal at this establishment! Lovely patio and very attentive staff. Thank you James! Comprehensive wine list with many choices by the glass. The Moules Frites were comparable with best I've ever had! Hubby ordered the wagyu burger and was delighted to be able to order his preferred level of doneness. We ordered the sticky toffee pudding. Again, one of the best ever!

We ate before the game as the Miller is located close to Scotia Bank. The services were amazing and the food outstanding. We had chicken which is a new item and we were not disappointed. The chicken so tender and the gravy was to die for, and the salad was a great combo to an excellent dish.

Before the Toronto Rock game this evening, Gord and I had supper at the Miller Tavern, which is near the Air Canada Centre. We were seated in the bar area Gord ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger. It was quite a hearty burger and he enjoyed it. He said he'd get it again. I ordered a Slow Roasted Turkey Club (without lettuce and cheese) and it was good too! The bun was nice and soft it too was a hearty sandwich. I'd get it again. Chanele was our server. She was friendly and took good care of us.

Came here for a team lunch for Xmas cause it is close by the office. Luckily we did make a reservation though, or else this place gets quite packed. Anyhow, the atmosphere is like any other pub and the service was just alright. But the food was just alright, so nothing too thrilling here. I ordered a Strongbow and the shrimp pasta. The wait was a bit longer than usual cause of lunch time on a Friday. Anyway, not much can be said as I wasn't like super thrilled.

I was staying at the Westin Harbour Castle for business and needed a good Friday night meal before heading back home. I Googled around for steak, and stumbled across this gem, which was less than a five minute walk from the hotel. I opted for the Filet Minion (medium rare) with a lobster tail and sauteed mushrooms. There was a Wings-Leafs preseason hockey game on, and was pleasantly surprised to see that I had an unobstructed front row seat at the bar to watch the game. Friendly staff as well. I was inquiring about WiFi, and before I could ask, the concierge person came up to me, shook my hand (as if we were long-time friends), and then asked me if I needed anything. Very very awesome, and I believe its those little things in life that truly make a difference. Great stop, and will come back again.

Had the burger which was so so. The meat was on the dry side likely from being over cooked but the service was nice

The modern, chic decor sets a wonderful ambiance, and the service was immediate and welcoming. The food was spectacular from start to finish. We started with fresh, warm bread, followed by a flavorful seafood gumbo loaded with meat, and a generous portion of two lightly breaded crab cakes. For our mains, the 10oz ribeye and 8oz tenderloin were seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection--compliments to the chef! They came with a lovely side of baby potatoes and vegetables. We capped off a perfect meal with a warm pecan tart and ice cream. I highly recommend coming here. We noticed they have a pizza oven and plan to add pizza to the menu soon; we already can't wait for our next visit to try it out! Ps parking wise, the restaurant is just off a residential neighborhood and parking is free. No need to pay for any parking, just remember to read signs.

Now I can go to heaven, in peace. Place is small, and waiting for a table is de rigor. We placed our name in the Google waitlist, then waited another hour to be seated on Friday night. Based on reviews, got the Singapore chili crabs with the king oyster mushrooms (under the crab it soaked up all the goodness), spicy clams garlic veggies and the beef in black pepper/garlic. All were well done, the veggies had great wokhai, met with appreciation at the table. Clams and crabs were spicy for some and ok for others (our table was Cantonese and Korean). Crab was delicious, and the sauce called for rice to be mixed in after the crab was done. It filled us, but not too much. Next time we might try other sauces, but the Singapore chili sauce was killer. Totally worth the money and the hassle. In a mall full of other restaurants this place was the busiest. Very cute decor and free ice cream!
