Stopped in for breakfast and had a really solid experience from start to finish. The eggs and waffle were prepared just right -- classic diner comfort food with a nice home-cooked feel. I added the sausage gravy over biscuits and honestly, it made the meal. But the real highlight? The hot chocolate. Hands down one of the best I've ever had -- creamy, perfectly sweet, and seriously memorable. If you're a hot chocolate fan, this alone is worth a visit.

5th floor view, eggs, potatoes, and biscuit

The Diner in Nashville is a pretty unique spot since it is a six-story diner right on 3rd Street. We ended up being seated on the 5th floor, which gave us a really cool view of the street below. It was fun to watch all the life and activity from up there, though there is another building nearby, so your view might depend on exactly where your table is. As for the breakfast, it was solid for what you expect from a diner. We had the standard stuff like scrambled eggs, skillet potatoes, and biscuits. There was honestly nothing bad to say about the flavor of the food because everything tasted good and was well-prepared. My only real gripe was the size of the biscuits. They were basically silver dollar sized, and you only get three in an order. It was hardly enough to really sit back and enjoy them, which was a bummer. But again, the flavor was good across the board, so the rest of the meal kind of made up for where the biscuit portions fell short. The staff were also incredibly nice and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Another cool thing is that they have an in-house coffee shop on the first floor. It is worth stopping by there after your meal to grab some of their seasonal drinks or a coffee for the road. Overall, it is a neat place to check out if you are in the area.

    Classic diner breakfast

Food: 4.5. Had the classic diner breakfast and it was really good! The eggs were perfectly cooked and the home fries were too. The coffee was a bit average but fine. Ambiance: 4.5. Multiple floors with seating facing the street and interior counter seating. TVs showing the latest games. We opted for both, street watching is very entertaining. The bathrooms were very clean with fully private stalls and the game blasting over speakers. Service: 4.0. Reasonably attentive, answering questions efficiently, nothing bad nor over the top. I do love diner food and would recommend to give this unique experience a try!

We had a great breakfast here! It was a Saturday morning and lines were wrapped around the corners of a lot of local breakfast joints, so we went online and found that this one had available reservations, so we took it. They have six floors of space. Impressive! When they told us to take the elevator up, we couldn't believe it. Great views, awesome server, and really good breakfast food. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffle - everything was delicious. Even the fresh squeezed tasting juice. Would definitely recommend! Edit: we came back the same day for a late night meal. Chicken stir fry and egg rolls were delicious and just what we needed after a night of bar hopping!

This place caught our eye with their captivating multi level restaurant. We stopped in for breakfast at the first level bar and had good service from the bartender. I ordered an espresso martini and enjoyed it! Our food was very mid. No flavor, but fine for an easy breakfast. Wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a tasty breakfast. Would be interested in visiting the additional levels as it looks like there is varying menus on different levels!

Stopped in for the view, and that was the only thing that was worthy the avocado toast was mediocre at Best should've checked out Yelp before coming

I've been here several times and the food always hits. It's cozy and consistent and the hours make this a place somewhere I keep coming back too. I've had the pot roast, shrimp boil, salmon, shrimp tempera roll and everything is great. Even if the kitchen is held up, the service is top notch and the staff will make sure you are taken care of. If you need a place to grab a bit, make the short walk to this place. It's worth it

    Fried chicken!

A good place for a quick bite while in Nashville. Multiple floors, various cuisines including oysters and sushi! This is in addition to your local fried chicken and waffles! Very casual, you can come in shorts if you like or as you ate if you're just coming back from a full night on broadway . Service is relatively fast except if you're a big group like more than 6 (which we were). Otherwise, worth a try while you're in Nashville!

Amy our server was great. My scramble was good. The bacon was perfect and warm sourdough toast was good. The potatoes were hot but would have liked for them to be seasoned. Good breakfast. Great staff. I should add. They play great music! Classic rock thank you!

Came here on a whim looking for some food before a concert, ended up being a new go to before events in the area! It was me and my dad, and we were immediately greeted and asked where we wanted to sit. Top floor, of course, and it was magnificent to see the skyline. We were on a time crunch, so we placed an order quickly once we sat down, and the waitress was an absolute sweetheart. The menu had some delectable looking options, and we both got the chicken wrap, mine with no tomatoes, and it was out insanely fast. One bite in, and I was in heaven. Perfectly crispy chicken, a soft, decadent tortilla, and a flawless ratio of sauce to toppings. The fries? No notes; exceptional. We were in and out within 30 minutes, and arrived at the concert venue with plenty of time to spare. Great prices, even better staff, and even better food. Definitely worth it if you're nearby!

Nice place multistory restaurant plenty of seating diner style. Service was fine. The chicken and waffles.... Boring. Bland. Scramble eggs were like airplane food. Sorry not great.

This spot was okay overall, but nothing that really wowed me. I didn't care for the lemonade -- it tasted a bit off to me. If you don't have a reservation, be prepared to sit on the 6th floor, which isn't necessarily bad, but it's not the most lively area. The countertop at our seating was sticky, which didn't make the best impression. On the plus side, the eggs were actually pretty good- that was the best thing about the menu. The deviled eggs- marvelous! Please review the menu hours before going too.

For starters, the city's natural party scene requires two things: fatty food and hangover remedies. Biscuit love serves both in one package, from buttery dishes to gravies that sooth that hangover better than any detox juice ever could. The second thing that firmly embeds Biscuit Love into its location is the biscuit. Coming to the south and not trying this phenomenal delicacy should be borderline illegal. And, Biscuit Love, perhaps, just perhaps, makes the best biscuits to be had out there. That is a dangerous thing to admit, but their unique texture of borderline croissant-ish layering of dough makes these biscuits dangerously delicate. They aren't those classic crumbly dry ones one many southerners are used to, but rather a revolution into what a biscuit should be. Lastly, Nashville's love for fried chicken and hot chicken is the other reason to come here. Well brined, perfectly crispy chicken at Biscuit Love is spectacular in every way that it should be and will wipe off that hangover from the face of the earth in minutes.

We ordered the Bonuts (fried biscuit dough, tossed in sugar and topped with lemon mascarpone and served over blueberry compote). The bonuts were by far my favorite part of the meal, perfectly balanced and a must order. For our entree we split the East Nasty (buttermilk biscuit, topped with chicken tenders, buttermilk white cheddar cheese, bear creek sausage gravy and we added an egg). The biscuit was good but needed a little more gravy. I also used hot sauce as I wanted a bit more of a kick with my biscuit. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by one of the sweetest hosts, who made us feel genuinely welcome. We had made a reservation, and our table was ready immediately, making for a smooth and stress-free start to our meal. I would highly recommend making a reservation at least a day in advance--two days if you're visiting on a weekend or during peak travel times. It was clear this place is popular, and for good reason. Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. And if you're lucky enough to have Cody as your server, you're in for an exceptional experience!
