    Silo Bar and Restaurant. 10.04.2025.

Bar Review: A great place for dinner or a quick drink/snack before your next move. We stopped in before walking around and our dinner reservations. Had a few drinks and nosh amongst the lively bar setting...an inviting atmosphere. Great service from our dedicated Bartender with a few of his colleagues checking in as well. An entertaining bar with a gastropub flare.

Stopped in during the Diskin Cider takeover and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's a nice casual/slightly upper casual spot to grab some drinks and meet with some friends. I didn't prefer any food but the menu looked very solid and they have a happy hour from 4-6! Definitely will be coming back!

We had so much fun at today's Galentine's Brunch! Super cute/trendy spot in the heart of the Gulch. The featured foods were Valentine's Day specials, but I'm looking forward to other fun events & specials throughout the year!

The silo was mid at best, service was not good at all. We were hardly greeted, although it seemed no one was busy. Our waitress seemed to be disinterested and had an AirPod in while taking care of us. Service was slow and took a long time to get our food. The pizza was the best thing to get, which seems like it comes from an attached business. The cacio e pepe was our biggest disappointment, which was definitely Alfredo, and had absolutely no pepper in it. For being the only customers sitting, it took a while for us to be able to call over our waitress to get pepper for the meal. Overall, the service and lack of care for customers put a damper on the evening.

Silo was such a treat for a Monday! My friend and I walked in and we were happily greeted by the bartender Nicki! She was so kind and checked on us often making sure we were good. We had the hummus plate which was delicious. I loved the plating of it and the crudités as well as pickled onion. My friend had the fish tacos, and I had the cobb salad with salmon and no corn. The salmon was warm and the green goddess dressing was perfect. I didn't need any other seasonings. The place was nice to sit in and have our wines and beers while we got some work done, and the christmas tree gave a nice cozy feel. It was nice and chill.

Pretty basic fare for a hotel, but we did have great service. Based on the menu, it was a great choice for our restaurant club, but the food didn't wow us. Overall, it was a decent experience but it will be awhile before I decide to try it again.

We went for brunch and it was not a disappointment. They had a cool DJ playing early 2000s music and some current top 40 hits. The food was good. Everyone in my party loved their meals. The servers were super polite and the food came fast. The building is beautiful but it is still being updated. Prices are not bad. They also have endless mimosas, matchas, and a full bar too.

It was a beautiful evening so my bf and I stopped in at the outdoor bar counter of Silo at the Canopy hotel and I am very glad we did! There were multiple bartenders who came by to check on us and get our order. For drinks we had a margarita and a dirty vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives - yay! The drinks were very good and came out quickly, and we decided to try the menu. I love that they offer pizza from the 5 Points window in the hotel! The all day menu is elevated gastropub with some lighter options like salads, protein bowls, and appetizers, but also have entrees and sandwiches as well. I ordered the ponzu tuna bowl and it was excellent. The bowl was fresh and came with guacamole and noodles. The chicken tenders were just ok. For having so much sauce on them they somehow weren't super flavorful or interesting. The spicy pickles on the side were very good though, as were the side of fries. I really appreciate that Silo is honoring some Nashville history with the design and menu (the Yazoo brewery was in the same spot years ago for those who don't remember). Silo is a great place to visit and I'll be back!

The food and service was excellent. My wife and I loved our experience there. If we visit the state again it will be on our list of stops.

Located in the Gulch, it was just a short Uber ride from our downtown area hotel. Before we were even seated we were already enchanted with the adorable 'cow bee' t-shirt. Get it? Milk and honey? Cute huh? Our table of 7 women ordered a variety of brunch sandwiches and biscuits. While everyone enjoyed their meals, I can only give specifics on what I ordered. I had the Mr. Croissant with home fries, and because I wanted to try the biscuits, I also added a biscuit with honey and butter to my order. The croissant and biscuit were great. Next time, I'd give a miss to the included home fries and opt for the fruit instead. My vanilla bean latte was very good and my friend loved her mocha. To celebrate the Birthday Girl, we ordered two bottles of champagne and two flights of juices to make mimosas. We all took homemade strawberry pop tarts to go. We loved the vibe, service, and food and will happily return the next time we are in Nashville!

For starters, the city's natural party scene requires two things: fatty food and hangover remedies. Biscuit love serves both in one package, from buttery dishes to gravies that sooth that hangover better than any detox juice ever could. The second thing that firmly embeds Biscuit Love into its location is the biscuit. Coming to the south and not trying this phenomenal delicacy should be borderline illegal. And, Biscuit Love, perhaps, just perhaps, makes the best biscuits to be had out there. That is a dangerous thing to admit, but their unique texture of borderline croissant-ish layering of dough makes these biscuits dangerously delicate. They aren't those classic crumbly dry ones one many southerners are used to, but rather a revolution into what a biscuit should be. Lastly, Nashville's love for fried chicken and hot chicken is the other reason to come here. Well brined, perfectly crispy chicken at Biscuit Love is spectacular in every way that it should be and will wipe off that hangover from the face of the earth in minutes.

We ordered the Bonuts (fried biscuit dough, tossed in sugar and topped with lemon mascarpone and served over blueberry compote). The bonuts were by far my favorite part of the meal, perfectly balanced and a must order. For our entree we split the East Nasty (buttermilk biscuit, topped with chicken tenders, buttermilk white cheddar cheese, bear creek sausage gravy and we added an egg). The biscuit was good but needed a little more gravy. I also used hot sauce as I wanted a bit more of a kick with my biscuit. I tried to swing by around ten minutes to noon, but it was a disaster. There were heaps of people waiting outside, and it didn't look promising. I went to the hostess stand and asked the guy if I could get a table for one, and he said, "Oh, you can sit at the bar; it's open seating. There's one open seat right there!" So, I walked through and was approached by another worker who asked me what I was doing. I told her the guy said I could sit at the bar, and there was an open seat, even though I never saw one. I did see open seats outside at the bar, though. The bar has two sides, one outside and one inside. It seemed alright; it wasn't too hot or humid, so I went. There were dirty dishes all over the place, and I sat down. Another worker asked me, "Are these dishes yours?" Which seemed a bit strange because the guy works the bar and wouldn't he have known the person sitting there before me left them? Anyway, I said no, and he cleared them. I then waited about 5 minutes before another worker skillfully wiped the bar of debris and then got three menus and three sets of silverware (two more guys sat down next to me) and asked me if I wanted water. I said, "Yes, please." She went off, and then shortly after, I saw the same guy come with a menu and a set of silverware and a water. Thumbs up for the water but thumb down for the slowness. I saw the menu and was torn between pancakes and biscuits. I didn't really want anything heavy, so I got the biscuits and gravy but added an egg. I also got a coffee. The wait time for the food was super quick, and the food was really good. The biscuits are small, and they're okay. The egg was good, but it's kinda hard to mess up an egg. I saw the food the people sitting next to me got, and it looked amazing! Pancakes, etc. Overall, the service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I saw no sense of urgency in the workers when they were obviously swamped. I might come when it's not so busy next time. Side note, maybe I'm showing my age, but the price of regular drip coffee was a bit steep. ($4).

We had made a reservation, and our table was ready immediately, making for a smooth and stress-free start to our meal. I would highly recommend making a reservation at least a day in advance--two days if you're visiting on a weekend or during peak travel times. It was clear this place is popular, and for good reason. Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. And if you're lucky enough to have Cody as your server, you're in for an exceptional experience!
